There are enough former buyers that giving a lot of them a 20,000 ¢ry payout on the 14th would upset the market? The more I think about that, the stranger it seems.

This is my only account in which I buy crystals. It will remain so. I will buy again the next time I get a "Double Crystals card" to combine with a "50% off" sale, which last happened on Christmas. It would be really interesting to find out how this particular promotion works out, but even if we are told I am not sure I will believe.

With the reduced rewards, the Daily Missions are just not worth the drudgery of playing to 1000 points of experience in battles that bore me (DM) for rewards of Speed Boost that I already have thousands of. The only question is whether I should check in every day to see if there are more changes, or go away for ten days to see if I get a gift for returning.

I was doing all the missions every day for all of my accounts; now I can relax a bit.

Changes to the payments section of the game (Updated on July 31)
PopChaser replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
I have a $50 PaySafeCard that I have held for six months because the amount of crystals it would buy was without notice reduced by 25%. I cannot find anything else online that accepts PaySafeCard except pornography sites, but I am unhappy enough with Tanki Online that I will let the card expire and vanish rather than pay the rates now displayed at the Pay Wall. -
They have decided to bring back all the aspects of the crystals boxes without actually bringing the boxes. Many of the Daily Missions involve having to grab a certain number of supply boxes before you get your reward.... which is frequently crystals. ???????????

Don't WANT a Multiplier Pass!
PopChaser replied to PopChaser in Don't WANT a Multiplier Pass! Archive
I have started a new account, and I find that now a 30% Multiplier Pass is automatically given to 'Private' and 'Gefrieter' every turn. Players ready to spend money for ¢rystals may think this is a good idea, but I do not intend to do so. 30% extra XP equals 30% less ¢rystals earned in battles before ranking up. -
I only buy when a sale is good and I have a "double crystals" card, Those haven't come together since Christmas.
-
It would be much better to have 1000 ¢ry boxes six times as frequently than 6000 ¢ry boxes.
-
Much better. Thanks for the answer.

In the "Development Plans" section of the Wiki, it says Does point three mean that players quitting a game will get to take a share of Crystals with them as a reward for quitting?

What makes you Mad in Tanki? Things you hate/like in the game?
PopChaser replied to Ditzy-Dip in Archive
Since it has just happened for the third time, it is now an official "makes me mad": the left end of my space bar (gun trigger) has broken off. This one was a $35 'gaming' keyboard to which that wasn't supposed to happen. -
http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=234421 I am not going to play today or tomorrow. I enjoy the large (Aleksandrov, Serpukhov, Barda) battles, and everybody is playing the small games so that they have some chance of seeing the gold boxes. For the last two days I have not even been able to get close enough to shoot at people gathered on the drop spot.

I have complained at length about quitters, my pet peeve. I now must say that at last they did me a favor. On Sunday the 3rd, I joined a sixty-minute battle of Aleksandrovsk in one of my other accounts at the thirty-minute mark. At the end of the game, everybody had quit except me. I scored only 130 exp, but got 1750 Cry. -
Double battle funds? Yes! All the rest? Meh......
-
I haven't played for six weeks. Looks like six more until I can upgrade my equipment back to where I am a player and not a piñata.
-
True. People searching for somebody else to win the fights for them will always be with us, in real life as well as the game. I suppose it is possible that, if you complain loudly enough and long enough, Tanki will find some way to eliminate supplies and still not charge money to you personally to play the game. I cannot think how, but feel free to dream.
-
This applies to all the reasons a side may win. One side quits when it is being beaten because the winners have higher level in-game equipment, better computer hardware and internet connections at home, terrific cooperation because of their Skype link, the players are simply more skillful or because they have plenty of drugs to use. It is insane because if you leave a game in which you are being badly beaten, there is no assurance that you will do any better in another game, but you will positively lose even the small amount of crystals you have gained in the current game. Quitters annoy me more than druggers. I am particularly amused by the sniper types who complain that the other side is drugging when what is happening is that the Shafts and Railguns are hanging back while the players with short-range weapons must charge across the map to get at them, and quite naturally the Ricochets and Hammers pick up the supply boxes lying in the middle map as they pass.
-
I have never figured out Railgun. The first time I ever used it, I managed to score 200+ points with one (1) kill. I have managed to drive up behind three enemies faced away from me in a line, and three shots killed none of them before the nearest turned and blew me up with one round. If you hit multiple enemies with one shot, is the damage divided between them?
-
Good thought. I have a fear that the missions will sometimes require tankers to have specific equipment (example: "score five kills with Isida".) and if they do not they will just lose out. That wouldn't be too bad if the average size of the prizes were increased. Also, just imagine the games that will be created so that both sides can cooperate on getting all players through their missions. Imagine a player in one of those games lying about having to get 20 kills of Wasp, when he has already accomplished his mission and just wants some easy points. :P

That is mostly what I see, too. See my reference to games restricted to four or less on a side. Not interested.
-
They seem to be quite common. Yesterday, every Pro team battle I found with more than four players on a side (six battles, IIRC) had friendly fire activated.
-
Meaning saboteurs have lots of fun without any penalty whatever. That is what I thought I was seeing.
