Is anybody else having an issue with the new freezing effect? When I get hit, I'm still frozen and slow more than a minute after the freeze has stopped shooting me. So I'm wondering if it's just me that has this problem, or is it a glitch on tanki's side?

Just when I was about to buy Emerald... Now that the splash damage is nerfed I don't need as much Thunder protection. On the other hand, I still see a lot of thunders in battle Now I don't know anymore. Should I still go for it or should I go for Prodigi or Inferno or something.

Ik. To me it seems like they're encouraging thunders to camp and stuff. Take a Poly CP match for instance. Just sit on one of the high ledges, and rain HE rounds upon the enemy. Great way to get XP and stay on the top of the list, but it really detracts from the dynamic gameplay the devs want.

I tend to agree. Having a really high ranked tanker as a friend is some sort of "Holy Grail" for new tankers.

shaft and Viking M2 with corrosion. I'll camp if I need to. But i follow a snipers creed. Never fire more than two shots from the same position. I shoot twice and move. (Unless I absolutely have to fire more). Also, this mouse update has absolutely trashed shaft. (I know we've gone over this but I felt like putting in my two cents) Even using keys it drops or rises or generally doesn't work. I tried using shaft a few times after the update. Was really hoping to try out mouse controls with it. Unfortunately it's broken so that's out.

You are right. Thunder is technically a medium to long range turret. While at close range it seems like a bad idea, I've been able to adapt. First of all, I've got a slightly MU'ed Viking M2 (which will soon be M3). And then I've got a friend that I'm always in battles with. He uses isida so I've got health to spare. I considered buying Loam for a time. I ultimately decided against it because the protections it offered were slightly low. On top of that, it lacks protection from rail gun, which you're bound to see in almost every battle. I decided on Emerald because it has a monstrous thunder protection which suits my play style quite well. I play a lot of polygon cp matches and noise ctf matches. So I'm usually in the middle of a fight. That being said, I generally take a fair amount of splash damage. My corrosion works well, but in a polygon cp match, every health point counts. Going from 17% to almost 50% thunder protection would be a huge benefit. Add to that the twins protection. (Which is helpful in polygon as twins are rather common). And the railgun protection. While it seems on the low side, it's the same as what's on my corrosion. I can already survive a Double Power M3 railgun shot, so my railgun protection is fine. Add a few MU's and it will be perfect. Don't worry too much about the price. I've saved just shy of 300k so I've got a few crystals to spend here and there. After I get my Viking M3, my next buy is Emerald.

Yes. I use corrosion. However, I must explain that one. I used to use shaft 100% of the time, so I often had less crystals than other tankers. Also, since I've been ranking so fast and they haven't had a sale on paints in a while, I haven't bought a new paint yet. Got M3 Thunder on Iron Days so that wiped me of crystals for the most part. But, come May Day, I'll be getting Viking M3 and Emerald. Random question. Where did you find that I used corrosion?
