I wish I had it m2. Then I would be able to do something other than sniping.

I am trying to start using different combos with my viking. Does anyone have any helpful recommendations? I'm thinking about firebird, Rico, thunder, and twins. Yes I did read the newspaper article about this.

So true ;) The Ctf match I mentioned earlier was so much fun from a sniper standpoint. Being on the blue side I had the dp drops right behind me. I'd pick one up and light up the enemy mammoths and Vikings. (Annnnd the hornets and wasps and hunters) Lol :)

I love telling people that when I'm on my other accounts. Then they're like challenge me, I'll beat you. My next step is to make a nice stadium match and proceed to ruin their day using this acc. I use shaft and viking m2 so they don't stand a chance of getting off a shot on me.

I was referring to the fact that corrosion has thunder protection, so it's even harder to kill me. Not that it makes a difference, I can still spawn-kill them

Anyway, back to the subject of twins. When I'm using shaft I hate when they come up on me. I can however destroy them without dying. Barely.

What I love is when people switch to a weapon that you have protection for. I use corrosion, so I find it incredibly funny when an angry firebird user switches to thunder and thinks it will make a difference. I love telling them it doesn't.

I would argue that shaft is one of the few weapons that would be acceptable to have at m2 when you are a gismo. Because of its tremendous power it can still do plenty of damage to the enemy team. I will admit that having the m3 upgrade for shaft would make you more deadly and efficient, but you could pass with m2. As long as you don't have m1 or below and you are using it at that rank For the record, I have battled against generals that are using m1 hornet and shaft without paint. Now that's embarrassing

I agree sometimes you need a change of hull. Highland, for example, would be a perfect place for wasp-shaft. Personally I've never tried that combo, so I don't know.

@Thekillerpenguin I firmly believe in shaft and viking. Strong and relatively speedy. All you need to do is to get to the spot. Once you're there the speed means nothing. With wasp it only takes a good hit and you're finished. I also prefer viking over dictator because of dictators size.

Huh I swear that I was able to kill m1 hornets. It was before the rebalance so I may have. I know I definitely mu'ed my m1 shaft but not that much. Again I got m1 awhile before the rebalance so it still may have been possible for me to kill m2 hornets. After the rebal. I definitely mu'ed so I can still kill m2 hornets.

I definitely recommend saving for the hull kit or medium m2 kit. Or buy crystals if that's your style. Either way viking m2 at your rank is super powerful and gives you a massive advantage. I got my hull kit at first lieutenant and it did wonders for me.

Hey Zola. I agree, there's nothing I enjoy more than the raw power and accuracy in shaft..

They still can. M1 shaft can kill m2 hornets and m2 shaft can kill m3 hornets. Speaking of crazy damage was anyone here around for when they first released shaft? With its ability to literally one-shot everything? Including Mammoth m3 Oh yeah congrats on the rank. I'm on a mobile device so I didn't notice. ;)

Doesn't matter to me tanks tremble and wither away in the sights of my shaft. In all seriousness, hornets can survive shaft shots if they have protective paints on as we'll as some mu's.

I`m referirng to shaft and my viking, my primary forms of ruining someones day.

Not likely on that counter snipe. I have viking M2 and Mu`ed Corrosion paint. As well as dirty if i feel like using it.

Maybe if a certain someone came speeding up to you in a certain mainstream hull, you would reconsider.
