Not really, you'd always see the people with M4s on top. And when you say nerf modules, from 35 being the M3 protection to what are you willing to "negotiate"?

Why are some of you so emotionally charged? I see people stray from "Railgun needs a buff" to provocative claims... Nerfing Railgun is without question an unwise decision, it would completely ruin eSports and Xp/Bp for people. From 2 shots to 3 shots. Buffing Railgun isn't a bad idea but something has to be taken in return, in this case, an extended reload time. Also, foresight would be a handy thing as the High-Calibre ammo perfectly demonstrates this. I shouldn't be seeing "Nerf protection modules". I'd expect a Jesus resurrection before that.

I rarely see it in battle. When I equip it I usually dominate for 4-5 minutes then players begin to equip the protection module. Depending on the battle mode, I don't think modules will be an issue for you. If you encounter people with the module, I'd usually flee and attack someone without the protection. My usual tactic is to attack my strongest neighbor first, hence hopefully knocking my main rival to buy myself time to feed off of weaker opponents. It honestly depends where you spawn and who's near you and what protection modules you have. If you attack your weaker neighbor without the smoky protection and a strong neighbor with the protection module against you uses that opportunity to strike you will be in a bad situation. I'm way off base but I'm trying to slap you with as much advice as I can. So again, it depends where you stand and who's near you. If too many people have the protection module against you, just change the turret. Which is why you need a backup turret at m3 or m4. I've had my fair share of similar circumstances, let me serve as an example.

Hmm, not as often as you might think. Because smoky has a relatively quick reload, you would have already redirected your smoky or hunter so that it's aligned with your target. In fact, people with Railgun, Thunder, Smoky, Striker... (There are more but I haven't yet played with/vs them with smoky) tend to be victims of smoky's inevitable projectiles, if you keep hitting them on the sides they won't be able to redirect. Unless they have a heavy hull like titan, mammoth or dictator. Medium hulls can also be a pain, but practice makes perfect.

Tanki won't nerf modules for the sake of low ranked players, there are people with M4s and changing the modules will impact their gameplay.

    Like so: The sum, difference, and product of integers is always an integer. You know that any number x2 is going to be even. So any even number can be written as 2n. (This can also be extended to other multiples. Multiple of 3, 3n. Multiple of 4, 4n... etc.) Any odd number can be written as 2n + 1. ( or 2n - 1) Consecutive numbers are written as n, n + 1, n + 2 ... etc. Even consecutive numbers are written as 2n, 2n + 2, 2n + 4... etc. Odd consecutive numbers are written as 2n + 1, 2n + 3, 2n + 5... etc. To prove a statement you need to show that it is true using algebra. You don't have to use these ^ if it's a simple odd / even question. Let's dig in because I'm fond of this topic. 1. 4x + 2 = 3(3a + x), For odd integer values of a, prove that x is never a multiple of 8. Apply knowledge, Expand: 4x + 2 = 3(3a + x) 4x + 2 = 3(3a + x) = 4x + 2 = 9a + 3x (- 3x) = x + 2 = 9a (- 2) = x = 9a - 2 So, x = 9a - 2. If a is odd then 9a is also odd. (odd x odd = odd) 9a - 2 is always odd (as odd - even = odd). Therefore x cannot be a multiple of 8 as all multiples of 8 are even. 2. Prove that the sum of three consecutive integers is always divisible by 3. n, n + 1 and n + 2 represent any three consecutive integers. n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) = 3n + 3 = 3(n + 1) n + 1 is an integer, so 3(n + 1) is divisible by three. 3. Prove algebraically that the difference between the squares of any two consecutive even numbers is always a multiple of 4. (2n + 2)^2 - (2n)^2 Expand: (2n + 2)^2 - (2n)^2 = 4n^2 + 8n + 4 - 4n^2 (Collect like-terms) = 8n + 4. Factorise: 8n + 4 4(2n + 1) 8n + 4 = 4(2n + 1). 4(2n + 1) is a multiple of 4.

On the contrary, nerfing all modules will create an imbalance in the game. It's a game of make-believe, let's not be irrational here. We both know well than to nerf modules. Why, you ask? Here's the short answer, the turrets are disproportionate to each other. You narrow your vision so that it meets the needs of railgun only. If we nerf all of the modules Railgun becomes OP, but Hammer, Magnum, Firebird, Isida... etc become twice as strong as before. A hammer m4 can destroy a Viking m3-m4 with 5 shots correct me If I'm wrong, nerfing the module will make it a child's play for hammer users and this doesn't only apply to hammer. This would mean that players would start to complain about the OP turrets, so tanki would have to nerf all of those turrets. Guess what, we're back at the same spot, the turrets are OP and we need to nerf the modules again...

A very fluid rhythm and a good beginning that managed to hook me in. I don't know what you were going for, but this reads to me like a beginning of a series or maybe not, it's up to you. You have the hook, you have your imagery and you have a suspenseful-ish ending. Overall, the story elements are there, what happens from there is up to your imagination. Or you can just leave it like that and start something new.

It's not that railgun needs a buff. On the field Railgun's a beast, it can inflict damage within a consistent scale at almost any range. The reload compensates that damage, otherwise, everyone would be using Railgun. Most tankers have the protection from Railgun, thus why you don't see it in MM battles. It's rendered useless due to low damage which is caused by the protection. And they can't nerf the railgun protection. Simply out of question, if they nerf one protection they'd have to nerf all of them and trust me, you don't want that.

    The Stone

Great work, looks like you've done an impressive amount of worldbuilding and have the start of what could be an interesting story. I like it for the most part but I feel like the dialogue takes away from the impact. The story is replete with conversations, what I usually see in plays is a different narrative based on the character's movement during a conversation. For example: “What if I tell you nothing?” impatiently eyeballing the doctor “Yes, I can tell you all about it. But why should I?” I ask him in a demanding tone I've noticed that you have indeed used this but not with your bursting raw talent. But of course, you don't need to overdo it. I trust that you would know when and where to use it, that's all from me!
