Ever heard of the "Don't judge a book by its cover"? It's the exact opposite for me, I go for the best-looking book, not too thin but not too thick either. I usually get attached to the colorful books, especially ones with pictures.

U go to ze library, you grab ze book that looks good, proceed by placing your hand on top of the cover, gently hook it with your thumb and lift it open and read. It may be hard at first, but you'll get there. As the old man said, practice makes perfect. In all seriousness though, nothing will sort out grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and prose like reading does. Also, the more you write the better you become. Look for the particular style or genre that YOU like. If you aren't writing with passion, know that the topic you've chosen isn't for you. Everyone struggles at first, but the struggle is an indication of growth. What doesn't challenge you, doesn't change you.

    The Last Messenger

Note: The following piece contains some graphic content that some readers may find disturbing. As society teetered upon the brink of collapse, peaceful realms became taint with fear, war, and death. This post-apocalyptic age was merited among the best; a true survival of the fittest. The corruption in this world turned out to be excessively intrusive, a disease that infected the very bones of society. The apathy of the community grew steadily and smothered any course for change. The day of reckoning had arrived. Some believed that this was a sign from the man above. Having reconciled at the behest of religion, the men began to recast the foundation - for old times' sake, "Paraclete" they called it. Prayer blessed the beginning of a new human race, but corruption lingered, looking for a weakness. Over time people were sent across distant deserts to recite the new code. Sadly, no one ever returned. It was suspected that murderers roamed the vicinity in search of food and gear. Thus going out of bounds was suicide. Émile was only a young boy when his father left, and his mother passed away during childbirth. Refusing to seek an orphanage, he spent his numbered days alone in a hut. Émile believed that his ultimate purpose lay beyond the bounds. With his head held high, Émile set off at dawn in hopes of fulfilling his journey of self-discovery. Upon arriving at some desolated fields, Émile encountered a small group of ramblers. Their faces were shrouded by their hued-taupe clothing and they approached with suggestive remarks. Émile foresaw the threat and dashed towards the nearest building, only to realize it was an ambush. He wounded a man while attempting to escape but was flung back into a corner. Surrounded, he tucked himself into a ball to protect his vital organs. Suddenly, a bright light illuminated the room leaving Émile and the rest of the ramblers dazed. When his vision returned, Émile looked around the room and saw that the ramblers were gone. All that remained was a puddle of blood where they each had stood. Something caught Émile's eye, and as he looked down he noticed that his hands were dripping with blood. He rushed to the sink and proceeded to scrub them over and over again. But the flow of blood didn't seem to stop. His hands were raw, but he kept scouring them with hostility. He refused to bring his hands together in prayer while sin still clung to them. He began to notice that the blood he was washing off wasn't the ramblers'. It was his own. Panicking, he quickly picked up a towel and wrapped his tattered hands in it. With tears in his dark brown eyes, he collapsed into the corner of the room, curling himself into the foetal position and began to weep silently. The towel had stemmed the flow of blood, but the scratches were still very tender. Émile heard a few broken cries nearby, and as he slowly lurched through the door frame he saw a man lying on the floor, whimpering. The man was pulling himself along, crawling towards the door. He rolled over onto the side of his good leg. A streak of blood trailed behind him. He didn’t move but started to cry, lying there in a growing pool of blood with his leg shattered in pieces next to him. He tried to get up but collapsed into a heap after just a second. Émile plunged a knife deep into the man's neck to end his suffering. Blood sprayed out and completely covered the adjacent wall. Wiping the tears from his face with his sleeve, Émile lay there in the dark and tried to clear his mind of all thoughts. He didn't want to think about what he had done or what he knew he had to do. He just wanted a few moments of solace.

gases were given off by volcanoes (including hydrogen) -> plant life started to evolve (algae) as the earth cools down -> photosynthesis -> oxygen

    Is water wet?

Water from outer space? Waterology? Or maybe hydrogen atoms bond to oxygen to form the vapor that later condenses into a liquid that's today called water?

    Is water wet?

Cohesive properties allow them to form hydrogen bonds. Because of adhesion water likes to stick to other molecules, I'm more polar than the water molecules, so they stick to me, I get that but... how. Actually, don't answer that its science . Thanks for the contribution.

    Is water wet?

Is water wet? This question has made me question life itself. I've been caught in some kind of trance, lulling me into a state of despair. I need answers, so I figured the best way was to make a post about it. And here we are.

    The Secret Behind Overdrives

Going by the title, I went in expecting something on the lower end of mediocre. But that... that has buttered my eggroll, well-written master Destrod. I once poked Chuck in an attempt to get a signature, had to undergo several hours of excruciating pain until I was rushed to the hospital. I lost my hand that day. True.

Equip the "Corrosive Mix" alteration which gives you the acid / burning effect, and it's pretty much the new firebird.

Things you did in your childhood

I had an old habit of shamelessly stealing sugar from the pantry when no one was on guard. I'd eat spoonfuls of sugar every day and my parents would always wonder how we run low on sugar, to the point where they mounted camera's indoors and outdoors. Eventually, after getting defeated, I had confessed to them and outgrown my sugar-thieving ways.

    My theory about this world....

Life must be very interesting for you, haven't you noticed that our great progress has only delivered a great craving for further progress? If you truly believe that the evolution of the human race is "unnatural" then why live on? We borne, we live, we reproduce and die, just much more effectively than others. Indeed thanks to our existence and lifestyle thousands of species may go extinct, isn't that an integral part to ensure our survival? We are a piece of nature, all that we do is considered natural. Do we put down animals for killing other animals? We as humans play a part in the extinction of a few animals, but other animals are finishing the job, is that considered destruction? Isn't it natural because they feed on other animals that are lower on the food chain? It's easy to think that the world is just growing duller and more mechanical each day, but there is no objective morality which is sufficient to condemn humans. Yes, we do use nuclear power for weapons and energy, so what? What choice do we have? other resources won't provide sufficient enough energy. But we can rely on finite nuclear energy for now, until we discover something stable and sufficient. With that said, don't you think that humanity is worth preserving for as long as possible? Humans urge to expand, we won't bury our heads in the sand. P.S: This post shouldn't be taken seriously ;)
