    Hornet and Failgun

M2 Hornet users could say the same thing about M2 Wasp. Oh wait, Hornet is still "better" in their eyes. Uh, hello, I'm not getting M1 or M2 or M3 Hornet. I'm just going to MU my Wasp instead! Take that, Hornet (ab)users :)

    A new battle format: Thunder-Wasp

I never understood what is so good about XP. BP players can utilize the famous "peek-a-boo" tactic much better, and if you are skilled at BP, you can actually just show your turret and hit the target with ease. BP players can also achieve shot angles that XP players can only dream of taking. Wasp is also faster, enabling the BP player to be much more aggressive and support team forces better than XP players. It also enables the BP player to dodge shots, inflicting no damage on the tank. It is absurd that XP players argue Hornet is better because it has more armor. Uh, hello, Hornet can't dodge a shot. It will always get damaged. Wasp players can easily dodge a shot with room to spare. BP>XP Why XP is more popular is beyond me! Same goes for Hornet/Thunder and Wasp/Thunder, Hornet/Isida and Wasp/Isida, even Hornet/Smoky and Wasp/Smoky. It just makes no sense.

    Hornet and Failgun

Hornet flips all the time now. I mean, I flip M2 Hornet's with my M1 Railgun all the time now. I'm glad I MU'd my Impact Force on my Railgun just a little bit now ;) For the record, I never understood why people like Hornet, in comparison to Wasp and Hunter.

Why BP? BP almost always requires more skill than XP. Actually, in general, Wasp requires more skill to master than Hornet. Which is why I support this format ;)

    Hornet and Failgun

For the record, Hornet/Railgun is probably the most overrated combonation, and Wasp/Railgun is probably the most underrated combonation.

    Hornet and Failgun

Shadow, I agree with your statement. But under that logic, I would say for Wasp/Railgun to be more popular. With Wasp, you can dodge other Railgun shots. With Hornet, you can't.

    Hornet and Failgun

Personally, Wasp suits Railgun better in my opinion. The "peek-a-boo" tactic that so many railgun players use commonly works better with Wasp, as the turret is positioned on the back of the hull, therefore if you flip it around your tank will be about 1/2 less exposed than a Hornet/Railgun using the same tactic. Another thing is that since the turret is positioned at the back of the hull, you can achieve shot angles that Hornet/Railgun players would dream of being able to do. Make sure to turn your hull around with Wasp, as it suits Railgun better and it also gains stability if you are moving forward with the back of your hull. *I dislike Hornet/Railgun, but I love Wasp/Railgun

    XP/BP

BP players can obtain shot angles that XP players can only dream of + I just don't like Hornet's drift and find it harder to handle than wasp ironically...

    Let's discuss Wasp!

Rail/Wasp for the win! Smoky/Wasp is legit though (especially at M2)

What to buy? Which is better?

It seems like M2 Smoky/M2 Viking is not only A) a good tank for midfielding/defending, but also a nice drugging tank for DM's according to what I hear. My friend bought M2 Smoky, and he loves it!
  12. M2 Viking destroyes M2 Dictator in every stat, so that's why you see a lot of Vikings at your rank. M2 Viking is also pretty cheap for it's effectiveness.
  13. I MU'd my M1 Wasps armor fully, and it makes no difference :(
  14. Anyways, the shape of Dictator limits its ability to use every gun effectively to the extent with Viking. On that note, Dictator can also compliment turrets much better than Viking.
  15. Hornet is the most overrated, right? ;) I'd say Wasp is the most underrated probably...

What to buy? Which is better?

This is for my friend, who is currently banned. He is at the rank of Colonial at this moment. He has M2 Viking, and is wondering which turret to combine it with: M2 Twins or M2 Smoky? Which of those turrets (M2 Smoky, M2 Twins) goes better with M2 Viking? He is a hybrid midfielder/defender player in CTF and plays DM regularly...

Wasp "not a good idea"? That's Hornet. I think you got confused ;). Wasp is better than Hornet any day with Thunder :)

    What's your favourite kit?

The old original M3 Light Kit was much more OP. It consisted of M3 Wasp/M3 Freeze and Zues. Yes, Zues! Also, what's so bad about having to save up for stuff and trying to rank? The game is trying to support non-buyers like me who work hard for their crystals!
  19. denex12

What to buy? Which is better?

My brother wasted all my crystals MU'ing random stuff. Oh well. I was going to get M1 Hornet, but now I can't... This really does not help me with M2's... Hopefully by 2nd Leiutenant I will have enough crystals to get both M1 and M2 Hornet on Sale. My Goal is now not to get M2 Isida, but M2 Railgun. I am desperate for that purple rail ;)
  20. The issues that comes into factor here are 3 main things: Situational Awareness, Accuracy, and Predictability Situation Awareness is built up a lot more if you use shaft at high ranks, such as Brigadier and up. You must be able to know where your teammates are and where your enemies are AT ALL TIMES. One mistake, and you will be destroyed. With shaft, you can't see your surroundings, therefore you have to anticipate where the enemy is in proportion to you and when it will you attack you. Railgun also builds a lot of situational awareness, but just to tiny less extent because you are able to see who is coming at you and can escape much more easily, since you are always mobile. Accuracy: Aiming is much, much harder with Railgun. Done discussion. With Shaft, you can pinpoint the target. With Railgun, you can't. If you miss by an inch, no damage will be transferred to the tank you fired at. Your shot will be wasted. Noob users with these guns are predictable all the time in what they do. Skilled users are not, but Railgun users are less predictable due to extra advantage of mobility that Railgun users have. Mobile Shafts aren't predictable either, but hey, who really sees a lot of mobile shafts? Overall, I believe Railgun is a much more versatile turret, which means it can help it's team much more than Shaft. Shaft can basically only camp. There are only a few skilled shaft users that can support movements effectively.

What to buy? Which is better?

Personally, I think you should've bought cedar ;)

What to buy? Which is better?

At this rank, dodging shots is pretty easy, because almost no one has the skill to aim well. I've even played against Major's and up and still was able to dodge shots easily with my M1 Wasp. It is really easy to get flipped though, especially when you are turning.

What to buy? Which is better?

Hmm... M2 Railgun unlocks at 1st Leiutenant. Maybe I'll get that over Isida and Freeze. I personally prefer Wasp/Rail, but I have heard that Wasp/Rail is very unstable at M2 and up, which could be a problem. I've also heard Viking/Rail is a very good combonation. Is that true?
  24. denex12

What to buy? Which is better?

I guess that's the way I'm going to go. I did notice M4 Hornet's stats beat M4 Wasp's IMO, so I guess I'm getting M2 Hornet/Isida... :) I did notice you got M2 Freeze at WO5. How much did you like it?
  25. denex12

What to buy? Which is better?

That's the issue I am having with Wasp. Wasp/Freeze can stop other tanks from circling because it will freeze the tank, and in turn, you can circle the tank yourself. Wasp/Isida can't do that.
