Sale overlapping is two percentage discounts on one item. :)I am buying Hornet M2. I actually wouldn't have actually bought it at 30% but I don't want to delay buying my starter M2 hull and get my first M2-M2.

MUs, don't get too many turretsAnd get Mars please. Inferno's 40% Freeze is basically useless since I am 99% sure that Freeze is as rare up there as it is at my rank. Plus even if you see a Freeze here and there just stick to a wall and keep firing, it had low damage and unless it circles you, you can escape unharmed most of the times. Inferno's Twins prot is puny and it has 30% Fire prot which is just 3 less than what Mars offers. Additionally Mars has 33% Hammer which you would occasionally need. In short Mars is underrated and you should get it.

Roger! But if you really hate Isida, then go for Electra. Sandstone doesn't have sufficient protection and if you want 20% Rail then you could get Fracture... Cedar is good for Thunder users, but after M1 (which you are already ahead of) you don't need it much as a non-Thunder player IMO.

I just thought I'd make this post for the 20+ people yelling on the main discussion thread about this. Note: I am 90% sure this would be the way the sales would be calculated, it may differ, it's up to the developers. Christmas Discounts + Individual Discounts? Personal discounts and the discounts which you get once you own a certain number of hulls/turrets of a modification will be considered as discounts on the base price of the item. For example, I am buying Hornet M2 which costs 70500 crystals and I already have a 20% personal discount on it. So its base price now is 56400 for me. In the sales, Hornet is on a 30% discount. So we cut 30% from the second amount 56400, arriving upon 39480 crystals. So, the overall discount I would get is - (39480/70500)*100 = 56% (and not simply 30+20 = 50%) In short, the Christmas sale discount and other individual discounts do not directly add up. Click here to know the discount percentage on the turret/hull/paint you want to buy Suggestions for the Sale As any wise tanker would, skip buying the less discounted items (30-35% off ones), and if you are good at the less popular turrets like Shaft and Freeze, then go forth and buy them. 50% discounts would be rare from now on, as recent sales have shown us (Tanker's Day, Halloween..). However, do not buy the more discounted items just because of the low price. It's a trap; they have probably been placed on more discount because they are less effective (Freeze M2 vs. Firebird M1 is one sided towards Firebird), barring examples like Viking, the 2nd most popular hull which is on more discount than Wasp. Buy kits on the day on which you will get the most benefit. If the turret in the kit is the most discounted item in the kit, then buy the kit on December 27. (This is also implying that kit discount will overlap with the Christmas discount) Complete the special missions! It's not known what are the rewards, and how difficult exactly they are going to be, but I don't think they will be bad. Do not MU M0/M1 equipment and perhaps even M2 equipment on the 33% MU sale. If its a M3, then its okay, however you won't be progressing much, unless you buy speedups too, but then it will be a costly affair and it will empty your wallet. As people always say, M2s with early M3 unlock do not need MUs so don't get lured in by the lowly sale. Do not neglect the paints sale. Buy cheap and effective paints which are on high discount that you didn't buy because you didn't need them urgently. For the lower ranks, there is a decent discount on several paints, so make sure you buy any of these - Tundra, Corrosion, Desert, Lead, Dragon, Cedar, Dirty, Roger, Fracture, Vortex For the higher ranks, I am not accomplished enough to comment, but from my observations, these paints should be bought if you don't have them and need protections that they offer - Needle, Africa, Lumberjack, Loam, Savanna, Mars, Digital, Clay, Cherry, Rhino, Prodigi, Tiger Above all, enjoy the holidays in both Tanki and real life, and try to catch a few 2016 gold boxes if you can!
