With a decent short range weapon and medium hull, you can get at least around 1500-2500 exp in Polygon CP. That means at least 16.5 hours of really INTENSE battling.

It is generally preferable to own a turret first and then a hull for a certain new modification. However Hornet M2 can be considered as the first good M2 despite Freeze (low damage, nerfed freezing, early M3, quite irrelevant nowadaya) and Isida (nerfed lock-on, low damage, early M3) so you can buy it before. After that you can Fire M2, Smoky M2, etc as an M2 companion.So in any case it is a good idea to buy it before turrets.

Hunter Firebird is generally decent, and Dictator is good with Vulcan because you can exploit its height wih Vulcan's vicious auto aimHunter is also good with Thunder Also go with Rustle
