Sure, there's people that burn through their Double Powers while using Railgun, but I don't believe it's completely useless outside of XP / BP. I use it frequently in almost every map I come across (when I'm not using Isida, that is), and it tends to do well. Heck, I was playing against a bunch of M3 Hammer / Vikings in a Polygon DM and still managed a 1.75 average.

I'm not even sure if I want to buy M2 anymore. I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but the unpopularity of the recent updates in understandable; with the stats nerfed to such a point, the gun is almost extinct. Maybe if they fix something here, I might purchase M3.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And besides, it's not so bad if you're playing on a mini-map / very lazy. ;)
