Well, that's kind of the point. From my personal experience, Wasp's OD is less effective and harder to pull off compared to other OD's in forcing other's into such situations as discussed earlier here. It does not mean that it cannot happen or that it cannot be used effectively, it's just that i personally do not find it as threatening as others from my experience on the battlefield. I am pretty sure some do. :rolleyes:

Do I understand it correctly that earning 1000+ stars while being in the loosing faction will basically earn you nothing?

I have been outrunning it with Heavy hulls.

Personally I do not understand where are you going with this. Most bigger helper departments have 2 admins so that the work they do can be distributed. Most admins still do their regular jobs and on top are managing the teams under them, so having two people is definitely a necessity to keep up with the workload and have someone else to take control when the one of the admins is currently unavailable. Also I do not see how number of admins is related to the game working or not. Admins are volunteers, so they do not waste any financial resources of the game. Since admins get only the virtual goods which the company can frankly distribute infinitely, the number of admins and helpers is not affected by game being less popular, or broken.

Distance and hiding is answer to practically every OD :D. You can pretty much use every type of Overdrive as a decoy. If you start Viking's Overdrive, or Titan's protective dome, Hunter player still needs to think whether to sacrifice the OD or to proceed to enemy base otherwise every other OD has the power to destroy it easily. Wasp has the advantage of quicker recharge of OD, but it is also quite harder to pull it off since you have to pin down the Hunter or surprise him to really force him into OD since the bomb can otherwise be still easily dodged. That's why I use Wasp and Freeze with shock freeze alt. That usually forces everyone who does not want to die to use OD since it slows down enemy extremely.

Those three were just examples of how the overdrives could be overall tuned down. Obviously, they would have to balance all of them out, so there is no one that would stand out as overpowered. The problem with them is that, for me, overdrives are way to prominent and the whole gameplay is only about who will charge and use the overdrive first. Let's not even talk about the fact that there are some like Hornet that are basically uncounterable, or the fact that Hunter basically stops every other Overdrive, thus having almost no counters (even though it does not cancel the effect of some like Mammoth or Viking, the stunned target can hardly use them to the their full effect).

They are all OP. Hornet should ignore only protection modules, Hunter should either just stun or remove all supplies and Titan should just give protection, but not heal. They are all equally annoying to me.

Greetings, readers. As you probably know, Hexed has took over the vacant administration position in a bloodless coup. After months of ruthless rule, @Person_Random interviews the new Dictator about his road to new position and his plans in the Newspaper section.

Everyday, I get into these small rivalry fights with random tankers. Sometimes, if I destroy a guy multiple times, they come for me to return a favor (I do the same, from time to time). Sometimes, these situations end after few standoffs, and sometimes I am literally in "personal fight" with the opponent for the whole match.

Don't think they are less fun. They can be as fun and as frustrating on high ranks as I remember them being on lower ranks.

I equipped Freeze after a very long time and love it with the Shock Freeze. It's really fun watching all the frustrating players who cannot move an inch when I circle around them with Wasp. It is quite hard to pull it off usually, but certainly fun.

We have already covered many topics related to it here in the Newspaper, ranging from spooky stories to history of Halloween celebrations in Tanki. But, what we definitely haven't done yet is a comprehensive advice on how to style yourself for the celebration. So without further ado, let me present you these latest fashion tips on Halloween costumes. Costume No.1: The Fashion Disaster Let's kick this off with something relatively easy to pull off. This costume requires just one thing, and that is equipping one of those eye-hurting, disastrous paint coats that are being offered for purchase in your very own garage. Designers and developers sure had a huge sense of humor when they added paints like Chainmail, Mary, Dragon or Invader and still thought they are cute, trendy or chic. If you equip one of these paints, I am almost positive that your fashion choices will scare the pants off of any tanker far more effectively than any common vampire, pirate or skeleton costume would ever do. By the way, if you will have the pleasure of meeting me out there, you can admire my super rare pixie Synesthesia outfit I'll be wearing. Get jealous! Costume No.2: Gold Box Beggar This relatively simple costume requires you to dress your tank from top to the bottom in the Gold Box colored painting. You will look stilishly ready to scream: "Was Gold Box?" at the start and during each battle in the Halloween map. You can just as well insert this phrase: "admin plz gold" to break the stereotype for people who already learnt that admins are not magic unicorns pressing the buttons for you. Moreover, it is of utmost importance to use goody old shoe-lookalike named Dictator as without this piece of equipment, the costume won't have the desired effect. Height matters! Once you have the painting and Dictator equipped, you are good to go bumping into your fellow tankers on the field in anticipation of the Gold rain. Remember, it is Halloween, so it is totally okay to wander around begging others for the Gold box treat. Costume No.3: Tanki YouTube Star Do you have a YouTube channel? Check. Does it have ten subscribers, and 3 monthly views? Check. Do you still falsely believe it is relevant and that you will bring enough attention to it in the near future? Check. Well, go no further because this costume is made for those who still did not put the blindfold down to see that we do not care about copyrighted music and another "unique" rank up. This costume requires the biggest possible YouTube logo to be present on your tank, preferably with your channel details. Spamming links to your amazing 144p videos is a must. Remember, cobwebs belong in to the Halloween decorations, not on your godforsaken channel. Use this opportunity and trick the players into thinking that your videos have something new to offer. Costume No.4: The Grinch You may jump to the conclusion that Grinch is related solely to Xmas, but I beg to differ. Grinch is an absolutely fitting costume for everyone with permanent under-the-weather mood and the CCS (Constant Complaining Syndrome) diagnose. Wearing this costume during Halloween goes hand-in-hand with complaining how bad Tanki is, and how you should leave it right this moment, while still hypocritically playing the game. If you already belong to the ranks of eternally dissatisfied tankers, this costume is recommended, as it will emphasize your second nature. If you will like it, you can reuse the costume even for the Christmas holiday and think of a plan for stealing Christmas in Tanki Online. Costume No.5: Soulless Mult From my personal experience, this must be the most popular costume not only on the Halloween, but during the whole year. As a matter of fact, so many people are absorbed by this costume, that they lose the control to rationally equip tanks fitting their ranks. Many had already given in to the charms of playing the cannon fodder role on their team. It seems that even the Matchmaking can force the plague of these eternal noobs away. Can't beat them... join them. That's definitely not the correct form of that saying. If you yourself possess the qualities of M0 tanks and are also fortunate to be in a higher ranks, you have a very unique opportunity to join the ranks of mults on the potato computers and see what these guys love about it. Approved. Edits: - few grammar fixes - (were should be used with plural nouns instead of was) - few duplicate words in one sentence have been erased (happens to me too sometimes. I am writing something and repeat an article or some word due to the lack of attention) I definitely advise you to keep up writing and reading. The storytelling definitely needs more work. Here is some advice: - Don't be afraid to shorten your sentences. What I noticed in your writing pattern is a lot of "and, and, and". It's not that you cannot use "and" in the sentence or write a longer sentence, but sometimes a very short-to-the-point sentence is far better for the storytelling. Try to alternate long and short sentences. Less is sometimes more. - The story just did not have that natural flow to it. It was a lot of "I did this and then I did this and then I've done that". It felt a little bit like someone is reading me his list of chores he had done rather then telling me a story. I personally am not a pro at this genre, but I would definitely advise you to read some of the stories in the section and archive (for example the One-Eyed man series by Hippin, his recent continuation is in the main section right now). There is a lot of different stuff that can inspire you and show you what should be done to make the story good and intriguing for the reader. - And lastly, definitely try to work more on the plot. I think it would appreciate a bit more attention to the details and the chronology. For example, the story tells that the Warrant Officer was sent to retrieve "something". Perhaps try to be more clear and identify what he wanted to get retrieved. It is those details that eventually create the bigger picture. I would also put the Colonial Cross award section for the end of the story. It just felt out of the place that they are in the action and get what I presume is quite a big honor at the very beginning for really undefined circumstances.

Oh look, once again these accusations popped out. The articles we pick from writers get published depending on what material we already have, how it fits to publishing schedule, and what priority it has, not on WHO wrote them. I hate to burst your bubble, but the world does not revolve only around you. You can try to play a victim here, but there are guest writers and even reporters who have/had stuff in the material waiting to be published even longer than you. Your piece is hardly time-sensitive, and won't lose on relevancy even if posted later. Just like last time, perhaps you should start sorting things that bother you through dialogue rather than throwing shade on others and being toxic.
