Oh, another update, just a few weeks after the last one. It will be another mess up. But it is good because I now have a reason to quit Tanki.
-
Forget it. They won’t do anything because they intentionally killed Isida. They first made the beam jumping randomly. Now they cut down the heal/attack cone angle half. I can see that they somehow killed this turret, and Smoky also, with some untold reasons. Isida is DEAD ! Isida is the only turret I have that fits my rank level; I have already stopped playing since the last weekend. Forget it.

I am an Isida user, and lover; I am happy with healing teammates. You guys know how Isida, and some turrets, is ruined in this update. I have been thinking what should I do in the upcoming sale. Should I buy new turrets? Should I buy new paints? Should I MU my tank as much as possible? I finally make up my mind - I will do nothing. Why? First of all, it is not my fault; it is Tanki has made drastically changes on all turrets, which totally changed the nature (please notice that I said nature, not better or worse) of all turrets; second, I don't want to give up my Isida; third, My plan will be totally messed up if I spend my crystals to buy paints; forth, it is not worth to MU too many steps (too expensive = mess up my plan). I will wait until the next update in the future and see what will happen. If it is going to be better, I will go back to play; otherwise I will keep waiting. Probably I will start a new account if I want to play a bit while I am waiting for the next update but I won't touch the present account; I don't want to ruin my isida or my plan. I hope you guys will calmly think about what to do. The timing is very good: mess up everything around 2 weeks before the sale so that we will tend to buy new things to try. Please, carefully think and plan; don't throw your crystals for something you actually don't need. Remember, it is not our fault; we didn't mess up our tanks.

Thunder is not the worst; Smoky is . I agree that the reolad of Thunder is now way too long. You better kill your target with just one, and the first, shot otherwise you will be a dead man next. However, Smoky is a poor guy now; it is totally downgraded. I don't mean it doesn't kill but it is really pathetic now. Ricochet is, absolutly, the big winner in this update. It is fully up-powered, again; without receiving any negative change in any parameter. I once played a 6 vs 6 TDM match yesterday, I was the only tank that was not a Ricochet ! LOL !

Yes, but the effective range has been largely cut dow to only 5m for all levels, which didn not mention in the V-LOG42 last week. I can see if you want to use Firebird, you have got to use fast hulls to ram to the enemy tanks.
-
I realised that the new update does not only affect what turrets and/or hulls we are going to buy, we also need to think about what paints to buy. I have Storm and Python for protecting attacks from Firebird and Freeze, respectively. They are working quite good and fit my needs very well. After the update, however, I am now considering paints for protecting attacks from Ricochet and Thunder. That means I need to spend extra crystals on the new paints; the old paints I own will be wasted. I am saving up crystals for Viking M2 when I reach Lt. Colonel but now I may need to spend some for paints. This update messes me up and turns my plan upside down  .

1st & 9th May. It could be items sale on 1st and MU sale on 9th. Some say 25% on 1st and 50% on 9th. Keep an eye on the V-LOG43 tomorrow, 24 April. I think they will announce the details there.

Yes, that is the point !

I am even not able to heal/attack tanks above or below when I am on a slope; it has to be on the same level. I hopelessly hope that they will at least give back the cone angle for healing. I am not asking for the attack angle back. When an Isida cannot heal tanks effectively it is nothing.

I think what they wanted to do with this update was to reduce the (overall) power of the two newest turrets, Hammer and Vulcan, as they mentioned that people are now getting use of these turrets so that they don't need to be that powerful. However, they didn't want to reduce too much such that the users would be pissed of. Therefore they reduced some advantages of Hammer and Vulcan and increased the damage/shoot rate/etc of other turrets. For example, the damage powers of Isida, Firebird, Freeze, Thunder and Shaft (arcade mode) were upgraded. They were then afraid that this looked like nerfing Hammer and Vulcan but boosting the other turrets so that they nerfed some parameters of these turrets at the same time (e.g. lengthen the reload time of Thunder, reduced the range of Firebird, reduced the cone angle of Isida, etc.). At the end, they messed up everything. Fortunately, a sale is just a week away and we will be pissed off by the newly updated turrets we have then we will throw in our crystals for some new turrets. Good timing !

I can see that you are close to the M3. I am sorry for that, and for all Isida users. :(
-
I have the same feeling. 3 months ago I decided to go for the route of using Isida after I have used the M1; I am now using M2. It has been quite good until the new update; Isida is definitely ruined. I even have difficulty to heal, not mention to attack. If the turret can not effectively do its job, it is not wise to use it. I still have a long way to the M3 but should I change to other turret? It is hard for me to change at this stage. Even I use other turret(s), I might face the same situation in the (short?) future update.
-
Yes, you are right. I am now just like a new user of Isida; in fact I have been using it since I bought the M1. :( I don't know what to do. Switch to (i.e. buy) other turret? Or "learn" how to use Isida together with the new players?
-
What they really want to do with this update? How come this update messed up everything? I am not talking about only this parameter is increased a bit or that parameter is decreased a lot. I mean the update changed the nature of the turrets and the ways people play. How come they cut down the range of Firebird down to only 5m for all M0 to M3. Why they reduced the Isida beaming angle from 40 to 20 degrees and let the beam jumping around. The lock on target of Isida is gone now. Thunder is powerful but the reloading....simply speaking: if you cannot kill the enemy in one shot, you are dead man. Smoky...haha...forget it. I have once played a 6 vs 6 match; I was the only tank that was not a Ricochet ! Some Twins users keep firing without a pause in the whole battle. Did they taped the spacebar ?
-
Okay. I didn't know, and didn't notice, the effictive range of Firebire has been reduced. It looks like Isida is not the only victim on the effective range/angle. I believe such reductions of both turrets were not mentioned in V-LOG42. What a surprise ! It is unbelieveable that the range is the same for all levels of Firebird. Actually, what make them to mess up everything in this upgrade?
-
I dont' mean I cannot take out a Twins. I mean the update changed the way of how some people play the game.
-
I agree with what you mentioned. I don't need a longer attack range; I prefer they give the cone angle back. I also have the same experience of you have when I play Polygon CP. I was acting like a fool running back and forth along the edge on the upper portion trying to heal my teammates' tanks but I didn't succeed :( .
-
Yes. It is because of some of the turrets, such as Firebird, Ricochet and Twins, are over power after the new update. The users of these turrets do not need skills to play; they just need to simply keep shooting then kill and score. I saw some Twins users keep non-stop shooting all the time even there is no enemy around. The new update created players like them.
-
I agree with you. 1) Thunder is much much more lethal now. I somehow can kill any Hunter and lighter tanks with just 2 shots. 2) Smoky is now a disaster with so low critical hit. 3) Freeze...I don't own one but so far I don't feel much difference being attacked by a Freeze. 4) Ricochet is absolutly over power now. Long range+lots of shots+high impact = high damage+high kill rate. Ricochet is the only turret being up powered with no reduction on any performance parameter. 5) Isida is totally ruined. It lost its locking ability and the beam just jumps from tank to tank quickly. It is even difficult to heal tanks, not mention to attack. 6) I don't own a Railgun. I admit that the recharge is a bit too fast but I can take it. Not too bad. 7) Firebire is horribly overpowered. You don't need skills to use it. Just burn and burn and you can quickly kill a lot. 8) I only a little disagree with how you feel the Hornet. It is not that bad. BTW I own M1 only. Might be it is bad for M2/M3.
-
The new update to Isida totally ruins the turret ! Could you please re-do the update of Isida please? Either roll it back or at lease fix the beam locking problem and give back some of the beam cone angle, as Isida has totally lost its target locking ability and the beam just jump from tank to tank quickly. I have been continuously using Isida since I got the M1 (I now own M2) but the new update makes me like a new user. Honestly, the Isida update is horrible. Please consider to fix it. Thank you.

... and you can see how many and the referring number (1,2,3,4 or 5) for activation of each supply below the screen during a battle.

Same happens to me when I use Firefox or IE on a desktop/notebook. I finally did it successfully by using Puffin Browser on my Android tablet. https://www.puffinbrowser.com/index.php
