My opinion about the Gold Box Supply.

I was playing CTF on Noise. It was a close battle the whole way through. I was on blue and red was two flags ahead. Both flags were under possession of the other team. We were fighting hard to win and I think we would have, if it wasn't for the GB drops (5 I think, could have been more) towards the end of the battle. Unannounced, someone on red decided to hold a GB party. The two who were holding the flags came out of hiding, went to the GB party holding the flags (instead of trying to score). Both were killed and no score made. All boxes were dropped in a short span of time. I tried to get to the red flag, but all ramps were blocked by big tanks or several small ones. Several were spamming the chat with "No Kill." By the time the party was over, there was only about a minute left in the game. Nothing was mentioned in chat about dropping boxes, so I think this was planned as a disturbance so red could win. Fair tactics? You decide. I think there should be a limit as to how many can be dropped in one battle and a specified time between drops.

    Custom made paints!

I think your designs are really cool. FYI: You made one mistake, though. In "Hurricane" you have bolts of lightning. Hurricanes, normally, don't produce lightning. Thunder and lightning are caused by a vertical wind with water and ice rubbing together to make the phenomenon. Hurricanes have more of a horizontal wind. If thunder and lightning is present in a hurricane, it's usually near the eye in a category 4 or 5.

    Are you famous?

I'm not famous that I know of, but maybe I should be. There are days, doesn't matter which account I use, or winning team I join, that team will lose. I'm a Jinx. It seems the game mechanics are against me and it rubs off on my team mates. On those days, I pack it up and go home.

    Chimera is real?

He's talking about "Chimera" from Greek mythology. Head of a lion, tail that ends in the head of a snake, goat's head in the middle of it's back and breathes fire. That does not sound like a fish to me.

    Glitch? Lag? What happened?

I confirm the above posts were made by me, Widow-Maker.

    Glitch? Lag? What happened?

I've had bad lag on Firefox, but when i lost the flag, it was a short distance behind me and I could usually pick it right back up again. No, I have never had this happen to me before on any browser. Not this much of a lag.

    Glitch? Lag? What happened?

Thank you for answering my query. I understand lag, but what I don't understand is how it can take almost 2 minutes for it to catch up and why it happened just as I was entering the building. If I understand you correctly, that means I lagged and lost the flag by the overpass 2 minutes ago. Somehow that just boggles my mind. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying my brain doesn't "compute."

    Glitch? Lag? What happened?

I'm playing the Brest map on red team. Three man teams. Red team has three players, blue team shows 3 players, but one is a ghost and I never saw the other, though he had kill points. I have the blue flag and the player on blue has ours. I'm in the gully near our base next to the bridge. I can see the blue player with our flag on our upper level. I'm hugging the wall at the end of the gully and have to turn my turret and sometimes my tank in order to keep an eye on our flag, to make sure he isn't coming down after me. My team mates have tried several times to kill him, but he kills them as they go up the ramp. Finally, after several tries, they manage to kill him and return the flag. I come up the ramp, still holding the flag. As I enter our base I hear the sound of the flag being lost. And sure enough, I don't have the flag. I go back to see where it is and my team mate picks it up half way back down the gully near the over pass. How is that possible? I have seen flags dropped by other players, but not to the extent where they travel a distance and then find the flag several feet in back of them. I had been moving my tank and turret, I know I had the flag just before entering the building. I had 100% health and was never shot. It seems I was down there for a couple minutes. My fps was a steady 60, ping between 48-50. Browser: Microsoft Edge (this seemed to be holding the fps and ping more steadily than Firefox. Firefox was bouncing all over the place and a lot of lag). I checked and was using the latest version. I've never seen a lag take nearly two minutes to catch up. I didn't have any lags before that event, nor anytime after.

    No in game sound

I hadn't played TO in a couple months. When I started playing again, I didn't have any in game sound. I checked TO "settings" and the sound is up all the way. I checked my speakers and they are on 100% and not muted. I have sound on all other web sites, but this one. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause of the problem?

Crytal Drops Gone! Do you like it?

Since this update has been out for a while, here's my opion/observations: 1...Players no longer camp in crystal drop zones 2...Low ranking players no longer go into high ranking games just to collect crystals. Of course other updates have prevented that to a certain extent, too. 3...Players no longer fight over the dropping crystal box. Now, they fight over the gold boxes, which aren't as often. 4...Battle funds are higher since the crystal boxes were taken out. I've noticed even the losing teams are getting more crystals out of the fund. The downside of this is, if a team is losing, they have a tendency to go for high score after getting one flag (CTF) instead of trying for more flags. When the crystal boxes were still in, at least they would fight for more flags, now they don't. The strategy is to gather around the flag hoping for kill points.

[Important] Do you miss private battles?

I never played in a Private battle, but I used the feature quite often. I mostly play CTF and find it frustrating going on a map where I don't know where the flags are. So, I would create a CTF battle, make it private and then go in and familierize myself with it. There have been a few times I would go onto a strange map and spent most of the battle trying to find my way around. Occasionally, I would stumble across the other team's flag and no one was around. I'd grab the flag head back to my team's territory to look for our flag. At times I would find a team mate, drop the flag and follow them to our flag. Of course that person would get the points. I have also used this feature fo practice landings from tall buildings, such as Rio, Silence and Noise, without the use of a weapon. Making a good landing with a weapon that doesn't have an impact force (such as Freeze) is a little more difficult and takes some skill. I figured out a way of doing it without doing Pirouettes and balancing acts on my nose. There's nothing more frustrating than to battle your way through hoards of enemy tanks, grab the flag and make that leap of faith with little or no life left, just to land on upside down and someone else makes the capture points (especially if that person making the capture points is a bully). I don't put real world money into this game or any other game. When you have to choose between spending your money on your survival and/or the survival of your family, guess which one comes out on top. A game does not put food on the table, a roof over your head or a car/truck in the driveway. It will not pay for funeral expenses, medical bills or medication. It does not put gas in the tank nor keep the electricity and water turned on. I have played some games in the past that started out free-to-play but ended up pay-to-play. The Devs started taking away the free features and made them paying features. They discovered that some players were willing to pay for those features and started doing updates that required payment of either real world money or in game currency. But the in game currency wasn't enough to keep up with the demands. So then the game became a caste system of the Haves and Have Nots. The Haves were able to buy the better weapons and armor and the Have Nots weren't able to compete. The Have Nots had a choice of either quitting or being labled "losers" only because they didn't have the money to waste on something that had no real world value. I'm a Have Not and will quit a game with high cost demands and never look back. TO, I plea with you. Please don't turn this game into a Pay-To_Play to keep up game. Please don't take away the free features.

    Let's Talk About Hammer...(Guide/Review)

I'm a bit confused about Hammer. I bought Hammer M 0 and did 3 micro-upgrades for damage. 1)...My Hammer goes Bam.....Bam.....Bam. While others go BamBamBam. By the time I get the second shot off, I'm dead. Does the Hammers shoot faster as it is upgraded from M1 and above? 2)...I have been able to get 3 shots off at point blank range, but have yet to kill anyone with it (unless they are already heavily damaged). On the Noise map, I was on blue team coming up the wide ramp, where the blue container is. As I turned to go up towards red territory (where the flag is), I saw a Mammoth with Hammer sitting on the lower platform. Before I could make the full 90 degree turn, he had nailed me with 2 deadly shots. (Bam-Bam you're dead). That seemed quite a distance for deadly shots. Similar thing happened on Serpuhov. I was on blue heading for the cliff on the left near the wall. I just cleared the buildings when a Hammer at the top of the cliff hit me twice taking about 90% of my health. Before I could back up to safety, he let off another shot and killed me. That seemed like a long distance for a Hammer, too. So, what exactly is meant by "medium range?" 3)...I use Hornet M2 with several micro-upgrades to protection and have been one-shotted by a Hammer, even though I had 100% health. 4)...Hammers have tipped me over with one shot. I can't do that. Does that come with several micro-upgrades or are we talking about M1 and above, again? (My own team mates have done that to me while I was carrying the flag and then waited until either I committed suicide or got killed so they could claim the flag for themselves). Because of my inability to perform as so many other players do with Hammer, I have abandoned it.
