My worst day at school? I had finally had enough of Robbie's crap, so I confronted him during gym. We're both good friends, so I just talked to him calmly, but soon a circle formed around us and people were chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight!". We both huddled together and decided I should go down after he took a swing, and I went towards him with a drawn out and clearly fake left hook, which he dodged, as planned. THEN he punched me square in the gut, and I doubled over. By this point, the gym teacher had seen enough and took me to the office. And of course I got blamed. .-. I was suspended for three days and my mom chewed me out over it, but my dad listened and took my side.

Nevermind the John Rambo effect, we're talking about a blatant win or loss. The mechanics of the game are simple: You win by capping more flags. Therefore, despite your efforts, you still lose. I know, sucky isn't it? You're still rewarded by a larger fund than if you hadn't captured any flags, but they get more of the fund because they beat you. So yes, you get a better reward than your nonexistent teammates do, but you lost so you don't get the entire fund. Am I correct?

Let me put it this way; If I tried my very hardest in a game of Mario Kart but ended up in eighth place, do I deserve first place? The effort put into the results isn't the main factor in your reward. Yes it's unfair, and yes it's tough, but that's life.

I think they just let me take it, because I was right under it and they did pretty much nothing. I even got some kills in on a few Wasps trying to be stealthy during the commotion.

I joined a Year 2042 DM and a Railgun killed me in one hit from above. (As in, from above. A shot went straight down at me and hit,) The nope button helps so much in theese situations.

Mhm, but that requires a driver with more than two out of five cognitive functions. Which, with you and a few others as an exception, are rare traits out of most Shafts. The main reason you don't see Shafts above the middle ranks, and I'll be frank here, is because those are the ranks where the game separates the cream from the crap. On those ranks Shafts are switched out in favor of Railguns, Ricochets, Vulcans, and Twins users. Or at least that's what I've seen mostly, I'm sure at your rank it becomes more popular.
