Defend your preference from what? The truth? Mammoth is both the slowest and least maneuverable hull in the game. That's fact.

Your reaction to me calling Mammoth slow, for one. And the fact you replied with an essay. I never asked what your preference was, I just stated if I had a choice between the two I'd go with Titan because it's a little faster.

If you're a forgetful clutz like I am, put whatever you need (Wallet, pencils, nametag, etc.) in your shoes.

My bad, I didn't realize that was old. .-. I'd say DA and Repair Kit will give you better chances, but with one supply DA is better because you can defend yourself against more incoming attacks.

Better solution: Use Shaft or Hammer. Not even DA can stop the high DPS of those turrets, and with DD Hammer can weaken them and Shaft can make their healthbar disappear.

Or Titan, but I abhor Mammy-Shaft. It's the epitome of a lazy, kill-obsessed tool who plays no role on the team and wastes space.

Protection is just a number. Probably because it's relatively low on my Shaft account, but I can usually still take out everyone in one hit regardless of what modules they have.
