I disagree, sure there were some one-sided battles though they were enjoyable, the new design has too many narrow platforms causing too many self destructs and making quick flag getaways near impossible. If improvement to the old design was needed then you could: Reduce the height difference between the lower and higher lever, thus making jumps more predictable for beginners. Remove the holes in the lower level to make jumping of anywhere more predictable. Expand the lower level to enable jumping off the top edge of the map OR reducing the top level surface area for the same effect. I'm sure there are other options too.
