The battle announcements are definitely quite different from Flash which you could argue isnt good for continuity but overall I think they are an improvement, the flag indicators at the top along with seeing a highlight of the flag in the map are both quite intuitive to me once I got used to them. How short the battle log has been an annoyance for me as well, annoyingly enough that issue is common in many other games too.

To begin with there are many different helper positions and they all do different things. Community events and contests as an example are created by helpers and wont exist without helper teams to coordinate them. Many players enjoy these activities which is why we do them and I think you could agree that they do have great value. There are lots of other things too; Wiki, Help Site, Chat, Newspaper, the list is long. We definitely shouldn't get rid of helpers. ? Jumping over to the passing of feedback, I do agree that it would be great to have a direct feedback loop/discussion but this isnt the case for a number of reasons, namely; time and language barriers. Firstly (as @Sacrifice mentioned) developers dont have time to sift through pages of replies to extract useful, constructive and quality feedback from everything else. Thats where a helper team would come in. For example; the infamous matchmaking topic from when the update was first released was painstakingly gone through page by page by the forum team who then compiled a report which was sent to developers. What developers do with the report is then up to them, I would NOT say this game has been the most responsive to player feedback in the past, though there have been some nice exceptions. On the second point, there is a language barrier and developers will mostly partake in discussions on the Russian forum rather than here, thats why you dont see them respond directly and discuss as often as you would on the Russian forum. Helpers are just useful fools. Now I'm going to be very useful and close this topic. Please use the complaint book for such complaints and in case you wish to complain about a particular helper's work please do so via PM to their respective administrator.

Its quite possible that every time you email your position in the que gets reset, how long did you wait in the first instance before sending another email? One everyday isn't going to help. Additionally double check your spam folder.

If I am not mistaken it is not currently possible to change your password on mobile if your account was registered on desktop. You'll need to use a computer to do it. If your account was registered on mobile then it is linked to your Google or Facebook account.

Why not switch to it entirely?

Its either Maya or 3Ds Max, difficult to tell from such a cropped view. From memory I recall them using 3Ds Max in a previous episode though I could be wrong. The final game model wont have as many polys, this high poly model will be used to help 'bake' texture maps on to the final low poly game model which will have a decent amount of perceivable detail passed down from this high poly version.

Gold boxes are only worth extra during some celebrations. These days its more common to have a increased gold drop rate than extra gold box value. Additionally you now have Black Boxes which can give 3k crystals.
