Get Cardinal. Good complementary equipment to Raiden. Maybe also buy Isida M3 on sale. Cardinal makes you king of Polygon CP while Raiden is a pretty versatile kit for other maps. You will need to pump a lot of MUs or drugs into your Thunder to keep it effective though.

Vampire is OP for a few ranks but gets pwned when the other M1 turrets show up. By WO2 you will wish you had Rail, Twins, Rico, or Firebird as your M1.

I have two FireWasp alts. Lots of fun, yet annoying when you see enemies switch their aim from another tank to you because they know you are the easy kill.

By the time I am a Gismo, I will either be good enough to fight Gismos or I will quit the game in failure. Either is fine. What isn't fine is two ranks prior to Gismo, there are so few players and only a handful of battles. The game is forcing me into Gismo battles before I am ready. So I have little choice but to reduce play on my main and save crystals and supplies by doing the bare minimum of daily missions until sales when I can afford to M4 both my Viking and Ricochet. I really wanted to buy another M3 turret on sales, but this is just not a good idea given the brick wall I have hit at Field Marshal.

I am using Isida M1 on my Vampire_Medic alt. It feels very weak, only a bit stronger than M0, whereas other M1 turrets are vastly superior to their M0 versions. I cannot go toe to toe with Rico, Twins, or Firebird. Sneaking up behind mostly works, but only if no one is sneaking up behind me. I think part of my problem is my rank. At WO2 I'm facing enemies my rank and higher, when M2 equipment starts to show up thanks to kits. The other problem is the M1 wasp I am driving. It's a tin can, bluntly put. And it is NOT that fast. I have a huge problem with Wasps's lack of power.... Top speed is fine but it takes way too long to get there. Hornet and Hunter keep up just fine over distances short enough to complete kills.

Skip this, not a great turret at a meh discount

yep - on mobile. I'd guess others are too- all we see is " good from to .". Can I suggest you just use the names?

Rico M1 - sorry if this is a dupe post

I'm a Field Marshal. 35% is a good deal. Hunter M1 is an okay hull. Viking M1 is better. If as was previously posted you don't have an M1 hull go ahead and get it. But 50% sales might be next month or in June. Bottom line : if it were me doing it over again, I'd skip it and wait for sales. Get what you need not what you want.

Why do you omit ranks when you post?

I like Rico better. It's more fun to play with, but it is WAY underpowered at M3. Hammer once MUd can be fun but it's not a Gismo weapon unless you drug like a fiend. You end up getting wrecked every time you reload.

Thank you. I was being dramatic. I'm toying with the idea of a case study though. Thinking of two weeks (14 days) across four accounts.... My main and three WO-Lieutenant ranked alts The skeptic in me expects the results to skew toward supplies, but Tanki has started rewarding with 3-hour Premium account, which for me equates to about 10k crystals, so no complaints there! Update- on day one, I tracked three accounts, three missions each. Two of the nine missions rewarded crystals, two rewarded with 3-hour Premium Account, the remaining five were supply missions. To sum up: 2/9 (22%) - Crystals 2/9 (22%) - Premium Account (h) x3 5/9 (56%) - Supplies One day isn't statistically relevant, so I will continue to track and update this post. UPDATE 7 days of analysis on three accounts: 5% chance of Premium Account 3 hour 35% chance of Crystals 60% chance of Supplies .

I was hoping to buy Firewall on an alt. But... they didn't switch kits. Now my alt has ranked to First Lieut - a rank 'after' Firewall unlocks. Now I'm thinking about switching up my alts. I have another Twins-Hunter alt I was getting prepped for Minotaur or Atlas. That alt is at Third Lieutenant about 75% of the way to Second Lieut. Swapping these will give me more equipment on both in the end and let me buy kits when they unlock, assuming the other M2 kits ever come back into the garage. I'm kinda uneasy about what will or will not happen when the kits are set to rotate next week, but that is another story. In the meantime, I've brought my Isida alt Vampire_Medic back into play hoping to rank up and buy Stinger kit. The welcome back bonus was a week of Premium, so I'm going to grind away. The other 'problem' with the kits not switching is that both my main and my alts are stockpiling crystals with nothing to spend them on. If only there were a sale coming...

Spark is a visually attractive paint but largely useless once on reach M2 ranks. Then you need Loam. I don't often use my Tiger paint but yesterday there was this drugging Premium Hammer in a Polygon CP battle. He was in first place and tearing through our team. We were losing our slim lead for a fat battle fund. So I put on my Tiger paint, popped double armor, and fixed his little wagon. That turd couldn't touch me. We managed to keep our lead and thus the winning team battle fund :) .

Agreed but I would add Shaft to the list of realistic turrets.

Yes use your weapon to stabilize you. Or learn the spots where you land correctly based on height and tumble. I used the latter technique and rolled off a certain platform sideways - before I learned to fly my Viking using Ricochet. There is also the pro tip of entering a turn just as you leave the edge. It puts your tank into a flat spin which is good for a lot of height. I use this to land off of the roof in Rio even using FireWasp

You may be the only person I have ever read who 'likes' Hunter's drift

IDK the above assumes that you would get a crystal reward mission every day instead of the 'used' 9999 kill mission. That is most definitely NOT the case. 2/3 of all missions reward with supplies. That said, I agree that the ROI on your mission is low. 8.3 crystals per kill. That's lower than battle funds for mid to high ranks. I also agree with not having the patience to slog through that kill count. You'll get there, but it will take a very long time. While we're griping about missions. Good luck finding TDM battles and obscure map battles at Field Marshal to satisfy those missions. They just don't exist and no one will join if you create a battle.

Yes Savanna. Ricochet loses popularity in high rank battles while Smokies become more prevalent.
-
This has been my perception as well, although I haven't quantified it like this. Great job! My experience tells me to slow down my rate of fire after about four to six shots depending on enemy tank size and whether or not they are shielded. That lets my Rico start reloading and ensures I have enough shots for my next enemy. I halve the above if I pop double damage supply.
-
Most maddening are daily missions and mission chains. I have to do at least one mission a day in order to keep up my tier 4 rewards, which are very nice. The problem is that I keep getting impossible missions. For example "Earn experience in X map" where X is an obscure map and there are no battles. When I create a battle no one joins. The other is "Earn XP in TDM mode"... Yeah... TDM is so unpopular I had the same problem - no actual battles and no one joins when I create one. There just aren't enough players at my rank in this game anymore to support these obscure missions. Update - Rant Mode ON This is intolerable. I play between 7PM-10PM EST in the US. There are no non-Gismo battles, or if there are, there are only one or two and they are both full. Tanki defaults me to EN1, which contains no playable battles. Complete BS. .

Rico Viking Neither

1- I wouldn't let paints dictate your turret choice. What do you enjoy using? But if you must look at paints, I would say Rico and Hammer are decent choices because although the there are protective paints, folks tend to wear paints geared toward Fire, Twins, and Rail protection. 2- Tanki pushes Hunter as the go-to Medium hull at the end of the game. It unlocks later, is faster, and comes in some very attractive high-M3 kits. BUT most Gismos still prowl around maps in Vikings. I think that is your answer.
