The sale has been announced bow before semeyon you fools. Devs just got drunk and were like: "why don't we put the useless paints on 50%" then they laughed maniacly and then they slapped needle on there to make it look more balanced. :rolleyes: oh devs you so drunk I might have been the only one whose original plan was freeze and hunter, but the sales are earlier than usual and i can't get hunter. So what should i do? i'm not getting freeze i've heard that hornet/freeze doesn't exactly shine nowadays. My boudget is about 200k i can bend to 250k if i really like the plan. I won't buy any hulls. I won't buy isida, i find it boring. I like maps of all kind, but my favourites are mid range maps with cover like polygon, red alert, barda,bobruisk etc. For my garage... well there is the profile button, and only shaft and hornet are upgraded like 10 steps each I like playing offensive, midfielder or intense defence, never basic defence or DM. It would be ideal if the plan only included buying stuff atleast 40% off ( it can include MUs too) So plase hit me up if you have any suggestions what so ever... i'll try to shape my purchases around them. ^_^ p.s: i can also start skipping sales like hopscotch and just do kits... already skipped wankersday,halloween and the 25% MU sale.

That's kinda like saying adults don't need more education, so they don't need long summer breaks :P True gens don't need kits, infact not even the other ranks do. It comes down to the developers they'll do what they want, but you are to decide do you think you deserve it or not. Personally i think gens deserve kits, but that is really a small thing compared to how many things i like here. And here i am just waiting for sale -_-

:) you are a true m9 I've really been reconsidering my decisions, I would get hammer if i had more experience with it, it's a shame fire m3 unlocks so late, I still want to try my claws on close range. Most shortrange battles have much less lag and usually better teamplay. I also thought of getting isida,l it is essencial for a good team.Then i remembered how boring i find playing with it. :unsure: The current plan is to get freeze, and as you said hope for a rebalance (afterall nothing here is a safe investment) and if it seems i don't like it... well atleast it's not twins... hate using that wanker gun. :ph34r: ... i'm also buying viking, just because i lack a mid range hull. Rest to smoky and viking MUs.(or maybe freeze if i'll love it as i did before) Not to forget i'm already a proud owner of shaft m3 :D i might start collecting unverisitale guns. I'm not to talk about higher rank freezing, most gene battles i do are large maps and you dont see freezes there only isidas... and maybe the lost m3 fire occasionally :P there he drives on the top of monte ;") meanwhile everyone is just wondering what he is up to. And the few noises, silences and polys i've done with generalissimos have been a perfect ****storm with drugs, m4's and mults all over my screen... i really haven't learned anything about true nature of high rank warphare from those, but i think freeze manages those with alot of drugs. I could also make a hammer alt, but tbh low-rank games don't teach you sht about real battles. Yes most of the time you do die before the you delt the full damage, if the enemy is not focused on something else... sad story freeze does not support fire tactics. Well... you do not address many, what i think are effective freeze tactics. Ok i'll stop there... what you are after is a place for freeze in battles not in rather rare cituations. What is actually the battle to mount freeze on... afterall it doesn't support tactics that can be used in any battles like hit & running or fights against more than 1-4 enemies. Freeze is a weapon you take when you try to help the team not your score, I think you get my vision of freeze, in CTFs a fun sneaky partner for fire on big battles, a tactical attack/defender for smaller battles. And what comes to CP: well still a good partner for fire... just dont attack the high protection paints. and in small cp:s a gun that attacks the point from behind or freezes the enemies going to it. I couldn't give less of a potato about DMs and TDMs. :P But this is my way... i'll buy it and like it... or maybe i'll hate it at m3- m3+, but i think i'm solid enough on equipment to take a few risks, that might just work. B) I'll be sure to come back and cry my foolishness here if the gun turns out different than i expected. Ty all for your visions too i appreciate you trying to help me very much.

I have plaid with freeze, most of any gun in the game actually. In my original account i pretty much freezed my way to bridgalier.I trust in you in for a bit freeze m3 is your main afterall... but what i was after was real info not statements like: "freezing doesnt work on inferno" because it most certainly does.... and if you are just saying freeze cant handle 40%.... neither can any other turret. ;) Ty this is what i wanted to know... the freezed tank is faster in m3 :) so the slowing works in similar fashion on all ranks except you and enemy are both faster...doesn't sound that bad. And you are saying that other guns are better off m3. Looking at the MUs freeze does still possess the highest normal dps around at m4 and a decent range and as you said energy. After these conclusions freeze still looks tempting to me and i would buy and upgrade it on sale, just because it's much more fun than rosting or healing :) If you got anything else i should know before investing on this, let me know

*cough* low ranks *cough*(trust me) ;) But yeah its no secret that premium is op. If i had that kind of luxury from recruit to this general/marshal i would be m4 balling on my rank... The paint would have given me a huge advantage in low rank battles and i bet i had won about 20% more= $$ Due the many crystals i would've gotten i would have had unfair equipment since first m1 ranks= $$ I would not have needed to buy a single paint on low or mid ranks= $$ I would have had free pro pass for the whole time..... savings I also agree with the main point here. Doing b**chfests on premium won't amount to anything... you either buy and enjoy or don't buy and enjoy. Also word to kirby: If he has something to say, it's a gem. i've only seen valid points by him. :)

Could someone give some conformation of this... i have been under the belief freezing happens by reducing the hulls speed/turning-speed and turrets turning-speed by %s. I used to play with freeze alot, it was my main gun on my previous account in which i had it m3... I used freeze as my only m2 short ranger from wo5 to bridgalier, without a single update i was able to do pretty well. And i had in plans to buy freeze m3 and upgrade it for sale, i've always thought it had the best gameplay experience. By the comments here it looks like i've either been ½blind, or everyone here is a freeze nub... and i bet for the first So does the freezing effect actually reduce speed by m/deg for a second... or is it actually reduced as a %:tage of the hulls/turrets speed? :huh:

You sounded really frustrated sorry :P Just a hint: put the :) in all comments it really tells more about where your critisism comes from... you can imagine many players making similar comments to yours, but only becouse they are frustrated with the game.. and they are usually about that rank too Sooo can this update risk tanki new-year; why couldn't it, but i really trust in them on this, afterall screwing up an gamemode might be a huge risk as you said... and i don't think they'd take it they didn't know what they are doing ^_^

Lags... they are not even that bad in most servers, and you axing what is wrong with tanki: i think a new gamemode is fairly awesome You arent even a glass half empty kind of person, you have lost the damn glass. ^_^ What comes to lag that happens on occasions, servers are what they are= expensive. If a servers were to be all new n' shiny all the time, it would cost more for tanki which means even more money squeezed of off us... And you'r distance to the server is the biggest cause of lag... cheer up m9 it's an enjoyable game if you arent playing from mars.

Shaft is bae, sure it wont get you the 1k+ exp on 15 minutes poly cp that isida/viking will, in maps like arena people will just out dps tf out of you aaand it turns slower than the clock at the funeral, but i love it. :wub: I made shaft my side gun after purchasing guardian, but still use it, and will use alot more after i get a mid-range hull. With shaft its all about putting the damage in the right places in the right amounts. Playing with shaft is mind games, a good shaft can camp countless spots effectively by being aware of his surroundings. a very good shaft always gets the laser where the action is, too many just wait for the action to come to them. There are many,many very hard skills you need with shaft: jump shots, quick scopes on bad terrain, shooting that isida max damage right before you die so he wont get any self heal, trapping enemies between your laser and a deadend, surviving an attack by short range weapon by manipulating him on a trap, making enemies hit walls, miss, block their team, not enter important areas and the list goes on And people hating on it because it can shoot long range with ease, well it's still hard to get kills on covered areas or on short range, and i don't see people complaining on how easy rico is to aim at mid range. Calling shaft an easy weapon is a sign of ignorance. :(

Anyone know if redneck or promethues are available for commanders? Knowing would make my planning much easyer. I'd know should i grind crystals for sale and buy with all of them or should i just invest like 200-300k on sale and start putting in work for kit after that. After all if i get too much exp now and go broke on sale i wont be able to collect enough crystals for a kit before i reach generalissimo... and then id need to wait for personal discounts or b-day for cheap m3. ^_^

Lumberjack is way above zeus 45% isida is much more useful than 50% smoky in most battles, and the 5% loss on fire and freeze are insignificant. Vulcans also being common in midrange maps(the target range of the paints) 15% vulcan is a gift. Buuut if are not upgrading on sale the 50% fire will be very useful if you play vulcan or generally play on the m2 fire ranks... i swear there is 2 m2 fires for 1 isida in every polygon. I say go with redneck as rico paints are rarer than fire ones, but it comes down to which gameplay you prefer :)

Druggers are everywhere I played on my alt today... premiums had thunder and hammer m2s against my poor fire/hornet m1 we put up a close fight on 400 point polygon, but no can do when enemy has guns that oneshots half of the people on the point with douplepowa. What comes to mid ranks i get drugged on alot, but atleast my gear is -50% all aspects and health kit away from theirs... unlike on low ranks, thankfully the druggers are often equally on both teams. and the noobest of them can be flipped with eaze. Generalissimo battles; do i even need to say more m4 isida/viking/rock or zeus yeeeeeeeeah you cant fight that with shaft or smoky at any given range when you add drugs to it... genes drug alot

Your topic is actuallyquite impressive. :) really made me see where your opinions come from I appreciate it for the good arguments, but i have to ask; do you really think you are accomplishing something? You have many good solutions, but for many you need dev support. If your effort actually makes a change, i owe you support for your future suggestions/critisism. But let's say devs keep the supply mechanics as such. what does that make your sharp arguments? Ultimately it comes down to trust, Do you trust tanki or the commynity to do anything. Lets be honest. Have any of the recent updates shown compromices... the best they could do was the decrease on premium paint. little attention given to normal players, and why would they its not like flash needs to last much longer. I don't trust devs, i just enjoy the things they've already done for the games entertainment value. So i think you should really question your trust on people who really only want 2 things from you: money and ways to make more money. Then there is the community whichpeople mostly concists of childs and childish opinions. I know there are many intelligent tankers on forum, but i think tanki isn't a big thing to many of them, and they will leave. i think you might too I have no idea how the community could work in big ways, the dislike button was the only thing uniting their opinions... People here can literally start arguing about anything... and tanki makes sure it stays that way by separating them to buyers, xp/bp:ers, druggers, the list goes on. If there were no normal players there would be no druggers (dualism n' ****), but by having groups of players with differing opinions on every controversial subject devs prevent major outrage. And the community is supposed to achieve something. :rolleyes: without devs it's hopeless. On the third note can devs and the community cooperate and for example make your suggestions for supplies true? Yes of course...but will they choose you over buyers, over no-lifers or even over nubs? They propably wont becouse you don't make them as much money even if your solutions would be much more balanced. Remeber flash will most likely not be useful to devs in a short while... dead games need no balance or compromised solutions. Whoo that was long :P hope you get my point out of the jungle of words.
