At this point, I could make a few rebuttals to this statement, by saying something about judgmentalists, or even better, judgmentalist reporters. But because I know that that will only cause a flame war, and also because you're usually a good guy, I'll refrain from that. I can't help but say a few thing, though: 1. Don't judge a book by it's cover. You, and some of your reporter colleagues, seem to think that other writers are in some way inferior to normal people. Because they aren't "real" reporters, they obviously don't display the quality that it takes to become one. Did you ever stop to think that we don't wanna be reporters? I'm speaking for myself when I say this, but I wouldn't actually take the reporter job if you gave it to me. When I first started Tanki, I wanted nothing more than to become a reporter, but now, after a few months into the game, I don't think I'd want to. I don't have enough time for it, and any time I do have, I'd rather spend it actually helping Tanki (not saying reporters don't help, but they don't help as much as mods or Wiki editors imo). Also, you said that we "want to acquire up-votes and attention." This isn't true at all. If I wanted up-votes, I'd write a topic about greedy devs, bad updates, or why drugs are bad. Believe me, that would get me A LOT of likes. So you said that we are attention seekers? Seriously, if I was seeking attention, I wouldn't be playing Tanki, ok? Simple as that. 2. Don't go down the path of cynicism. One of the newsmen (not naming names), is often like this. I have never heard him say anything nice about a topic. His criticism is most often very unconstructive (<---- new word :P), and helps about as much as Dilsha's "Nice" posts. Don't automatically think that when someone makes a topic, they are just wanting up-votes. This most often isn't true, and only people who are naturally suspicious will think that. 3. Those who actually matter. What? Who's to tell what people actually matter? In my opinion, the entire community matters, and very few are above the rest. What makes one person matter more isn't how many staff jobs they have, or whether or not their post count is over 1000. Just because someone is a reporter, doesn't mean that they should matter more than ordinary people. Reporters get their post by writing, not by experience or karma. They shouldn't necessarily, be treated like kings. Mods and admins, on the other hand, should matter more. People like Issho, Ostrica, Shar0n, Lham, FBI, and DS, are truly heroes of Tanki, for sticking at their jobs so long, and helping the entire game. At this point, my rant has ended. Remember next time though, you're a reporter now. Don't go around making false assumptions, and saying untrue things, it'll give the entire team a bad name. Btw, I think IYATO is "If you are the one" (Ty Google :P)

Nice article, but I agree with Flexoo, it could have been more detailed. Ok, fyi, OUFA isn't noob. He may not be the best player out there, but he is talented. And please remember what the word "noob" means, an inexperienced player (that definition isn't perfect, but it's close enough), and as far as I know, he's been on Tanki for quite a while. I think he's overrated too, though.
