Well, they kind of drop in small circle. I tried playing with this drone as a attacker in CTF mode, but mines do not really help a lot, because drugs literally don't last enough nowadays, so when you get the flag, either double armor or speed will disappear making you vulnerable target. Sabotage drone is only good for defending. And smoky with freeze effect is hands down the best option. This is how they appear: Yes sir, freeze alt is just like normal smoky without critical hit, also, it kind of feels that penetration power has been lowered slightly compared to unaltereted smoky. But still, it's a great turret for defending - also, it's unbelievably fun circling around heavy hull with a freaking smoky haha. Large hulls have no chance of capping flag or getting away from smoky as they can't really move between freezes. Freeze protection does make frozen time shorter!

Non, they all disappear. But, you can place them fairly often. I think it was 40 seconds? It is hands down best drone for defense! But I barely ever play defense, so for attacking, assault fully MU-d is soo good, as your drugs literally never expire, because it prolongs active time by 15s and cooldown is 12s. But, if being honest, this thing needs to be nerfed or mine protection needs to be equiped! It makes CTF battles fairly boring, as it's nearly impossible to cap. One game we had me and isida placing mines(while he was healing also), I think there were like 150+ mines near flag, not even slight chance for enemy team. So, if there would be 1 freeze with new alternation, which kind of ''ignores'' protections and freezes enemy and then smoky with cyro alternation, both 19/20(yes, you can place 8 mines at 19 Mus) MU-d Sabotage drones and one isida in defense, rock solid defense! Since it's Smoky topic, freeze alt is also good for attacking, With light hull, you can just freeze them and drive around while shooting and doing decent damage without getting any yourself! Whoever might consider it, BUY IT! Different gameplay with one of the most enjoyable gameplay turrets.

Yeh, it's nearly impossible. I have opened about 4000 containers and have about 210 paints, still missing probably 20+. Don't give me hate, I barely play, just supporting the game.

It does work for some turrets, but I do think this drone is glitched with some turrets and it was reported to devs.

Shock freeze alteration is just OP in CTF mode. Just freezing everyone and running with the flag, hilarious!

It was actually 1.8m(with current discounts) to fully MU and I would say it's a scam. Hammer only works for one shot, not 5 seconds, following shots are normal damage, Isida, barely works at all, think I saw just 1-2 times in 5x matches isidas 4x boost.! Twins with heavy plasma was good, each ball did 1k damage + explosions. I would see it being useful only with magnum if full team is camping in the base. But overall, not worth it unless they fix the issues and actually give 5 seconds of 4x boost.

Booster drone: Power up duration 3 - 5 seconds. This means that double damage will last longer. Is that all it does? Makes it just a little bit longer for 140k + 3m worth of MU-s? To get few extra seconds of double damage? And what means this; Additional supply power? Increase damage?

Do I understand booster Drone correctly? It increases duration and DAMAGE when DD is active? Like if railgun shot did 1000 damage, it will increase it?

UNNERF the shaft's arcade shot damage! Shaft has only received nerfs past 3 years. Not even one buff, yet other turrets being nerfed and buffed all the time. This is only turret I and many other solo players enjoy playing and not playing as a camper. Shaft is absolutely useless currently as a midfielder or attacker. There are barely any shafters playing at max ranks currently, I think I saw X-O playing with viking/shaft the other day, but he changed his gear quickly due to lack of damage. Or if they are playing, they are camping and usually last places with their score. I am fully aware it got nerfed due to clans complaining that their isidas getting sniped and killed. Why is tanki only caring about clans feedback? Solo playing is hard at it is, why take away only turret that can destroy those clan combo packages - twins, freeze, isida. Merge this mods.

Congratz Tanki Developers! After 5th or 6th nerf, you finally managed to kill Shaft. Had about 15 games today, DM, TDM, CTF - finished first maybe few times - full battery and drugs. 1000+ hours with shaft, so I do think I do have enough skills to compete, yet not possible anymore as shafts damage output is absolutely sad. Arcade shot boost alteration is useless also. I do not understand, why this nerf had to be done? You barely see any shafts in games and now, even lesser. There still are those titan/mammoth shafts sitting in corner and waiting. But for people who play mobile, this turret is useless(unless you go close range against freeze or isida!). Nerf would make sense for rico or twins. As these are which dominate battlefield - most users barely turn their turrets.

Absolutely any role you prefer. But experienced shafters play mid field role in CTF usually - means that they kill flag protective freeze/hammer/isida, so teammate can get the flag and then cover while teammate returns with the flag. Note - due to shaft shot punch power, you don't need to kill enemy, can simply shoot left or right track, to end his driving momentum, therefore help flag carrier to get distance. Shaft is also extremely good of returning flag as you can 1 shot med hull even when they have DA active. Freeze + shaft flag protection is deadly aswell, if enemy gets the flag, freeze will get him frozen and shaft will finish off.

Matchmaking is great update. Finally not ran over by coordinated clans and mults. Every third match is actually challenging. Few improvements needed: -Ability to block some maps as many people seem to join and leave right away(max 2-3 or ability for prefered maps), so they basically act as mults. -Something needs to be done with gear/prot changing, as people waste 1-2 minutes doing it, causing multing effect. -Insane lag after joining a battle - last about 15 seconds. Like it's loading map?

Which is the reason their active player count keeps decreasing daily. Remember those good old days, when there was 60-80k player constantly playing? Yeh of course, it was miniclip that boosted their player count due to advertising and being in top. But not just, last 50 updates, 5 of them been interesting, 15 of been ok and rest plain awful. Who wants to play a game, where nothing is sure and items you either worked hard or bought for money, are just taken away or value decreased to 0, such as eternity paint, it's a cosmetic item(NOW - use to be really good defensive paint with 50% smok, isida, thunder). All these nerfs and rebalances make people to hate administration team. What was the point of nerfing isida? I know it was OP, but why not intro drones back then for life leech residence or something? Changing original gameplay and items will always cause issues. Using new extra items to ''mask'' the problem - that's the way to go. Old player base disappearing - I myself also haven't touched the game 8 months straight. I did recently test out matchmaking, I think this is good update as you can FINALLY play matches, where you don't get run over by coordinated clans and huge amount of mults. Every third match is actually tight and challenging.

It's not 2015 anymore, back when you actually made same amount of crystals as your drug cost. But that wasn't the point. I don't care about that. But actually trashing me for giving you a shot is a sh*tty thing to do. I have no idea how many hours you played as I didn't monitor anything.

What the ...k, dude? I gave you almost 48 hours to do this. You used around 4000 drugs and you blaming it on me that I didn't give you enough time? Cheap shot. Karma must hit you one day for being ungreatful for a opportunity.

Tbh, smoky with higher damage alternator is kind of golden right now. Yes, the gameplay is similar as thunder, BUT lack of protection modules against it makes it better than thunder. I barely see only few people having protections against it, with thunder, every second person has it @ 50%. It is a great turret at m4 level with alternator.

Dude wtf, everyone knows that titan is better as it is smaller and faster with same health. You barely ever see ANY mammoth users who actually know how to play :) It's always titan! Anyhow, Guido started my 1k euro challenge, let's see if he can do it :) I am actually really excited about this. Good luck mate.
