Well, this post is where my 7 year journey in tanki comes to an end. And a new journey for me will start somewhere else. Maybe I'll peep in once in awhile. Who knows? I only created 3. Crossbone, Bigchip, and PirateSpider. I'm not that creative at names though. ? I might peep into the game here and there like @E_polypterus said. Just as a guest though. You can think of it as me visiting you guys in spirit. Hehe, good point. I just wanted people to know my side of the story is all. Yeah I figured. Lol. Did I? If its true then what kind of curse is this? ?

So during the time I was away, I decided to give tanki a second chance. And so I returned to this game thinking that it'll be enjoyable now, and oh boy how wrong I was. All the details of that will come later. But first the mentions. It was nice to see the familiar names of @Maf, @TheCongoSpider, @wolverine848, @At_Shin, @Tanker-Arthur, @mjmj5558, @Bydo, @monkeyburn, @SporkZilla @RIDDLER_8and @asem.harbi It was also nice to see new respectable players in @DestrotankAI9, @Incorp, @numericable, @nikunj04, @Arjun24, @Venerable, and @fire_shoter. Now my reasons for leaving this game, we can start with the real life reasons. First reason is that I'm real busy with my responsibilities, and second I have big plans in the future that'll take up even more of my time. Now onto the game. The missions were like chores, and the lags, bugs, and imbalances that this game constantly had made those chores that much more infuriating. Many players feel the same way. Now onto the community, mainly the forum's. When I returned, the forum gave off a very hostile atmosphere, almost malicious. I tried to opt out early, but some people convinced me to stay. Looking back on it now, that was my last chance to leave before it really took into effect. Anyway, fast forward to around early november. I asked a certain lead dev an important question, and his response when he finally answered: "I only answer questions if it leads to useful discussion". And well because of that response, not only did I leave his group, but I lost all interest and passion for this game. To me, it basically proved that he doesn't care about the players. After that, the community was still as toxic as ever, and then I started retaliating against some of the toxic people. Which got me into alot of trouble. Some people started calling me toxic after this, but the thing is, my " toxic" comments over the past week was nearly 6 months of pure frustration that only those certain people have caused. I could report them but as I learned, nothing will happen because of reasons. The community used to be so more more friendly back in early 2020 and even before that. The state that this community is in now is the reason why its the final straw for me. Anyway I'm gonna leave this up for a couple days.

Well, I've done everything that I wanted to do in tanki. Now all that's left is a farewell topic. ?

I think most of us saw no point in continue reporting such things since the devs don't seem to care, they're just trying to milk the game for money.

Well first off, I think we should know better than to trust the advice of anyone working under AP. A much better advice I would give is instead of trying to clear your cache, you should try to load other games that you normally play, and see if they work fine. If the other games work fine, then the issue is on tanki's end. If they aren't working properly (which I seriously doubt even happens), then I guess do what you think needs to be done. And second, I think its safe to assume that most of the bugs in tanki are more like intentional features. I mean if they were, then they would've been fixed by now.

Damn, these devs are really trying so hard to get me to stay in their game. I opened 1 container I had on some alts and I got: Berserk augment. Striker XT skin. And 25k crystals. Such nice rewards, too bad I'm leaving in a few days though.

No, it was intentional. They just truly don't care about us. If they did, they would at least fix this as soon as possible. But since they left it alone for more than a month now, then its best to assume that they don't care.

You know what? I've decided to forgive him for it. And to believe in him. After all, he could very well be a victim to it as much as I am. Also because of how bad the game has gotten, I understand the frustration he might be having.

Well, that certainly seems to be the case here. The patterns I've described definitely matches with what you've stated here. Honestly, this isn't a trustworthy solution. The opponent could just bring his friends into the PM, making it argument quite unfair.

Well not just paladins but also hammer inflicting augments and hammer immunities. So the end result is - you guessed it - more money in the devs pockets. To be honest, I don't really know. I would assume so, but it could be a false assumption.

Yep, these devs DO NOT care about us, they just want our money. The black Friday event will definitely be my final holiday I experience in this game. When I returned, I thought I'd give this game another chance. But looking back on it now, it was the worst decision I've ever made this year. But what I hate worst about this game now is the community. Can't even have an opinion without having 5 people attack me. Its absolutely stupid. I regret not leaving the forum when I was ready to.

That's probably a good portion of the problem. Most of the player base nowadays have at least one legend ranked account. So I can see that as the main reason why the community has become toxic.

If that was true, then he would've just kept responding. The fact that he didn't want nothing more to do with me proves otherwise. Its true I lost the first round because it was a 5 on 1 and I snapped, which lead me to back off. The second round, I won because it was fair and square and I came prepared and ended up roasting him. Truth is, if you back off in an argument, then you have all these negative feelings and thoughts, and the opponent gets to treat you worse than before. But if you stand your ground, then you will have all these positive feelings and thoughts as well as the satisfaction of knocking that person off his high horse, and the opponent will think twice before messing with you.

Yeah, we know. By the way, no point in asking the devs to fix because its not not a bug. Its actually an intentional feature.

Actually I set the trap up. I disabled the notifications so that I can respond in my own convenience rather than on the spot. I warned him that if any of his friends were to help him, then I would block them. I created a scenario where it was a fair one on one argument. And I won fair and square. He just got salty and wanted nothing to do with me. Yeah well, I tried to ignore them, but all it did was put me in a bad mood all week. So I set the trap waiting for one of them to bite down. Now I'm in a much better mood. I don't have any regrets. I don't care if people here deem me as toxic. This whole community is toxic nowadays, so whats one more? Besides, I didn't get any respect when I returned anyway.

Under review or valid, makes no difference to me. Fact is when an accepted suggestion is reviewed, its usually implemented much later. By the time the suggestion gets implemented, it is met with criticism. And that's because the positive reactions to the once popular suggestion is outdated. If you want to know what I think. I think the devs should scrap the outdated ideas and focus on the ideas that are relevant to today's era. Or hold a poll to which of the old ideas the current players want and which to scrap.
