No sane person would dare to attack a Viking that has the turret staring at them, it's better to flank them instead. And think of the hardships the Viking would have to go through to get the overdrive ready when they're not using firebird, freeze, isida, or twins. Hunter can activate its OD more often in an 8 minute battle than Viking can.

Yeah, and in team battles, being knocked around and not getting in very many hits is less useful than just being a tiny bit slower.

I honestly think that hornets OD is more oriented towards teamwork. And about the Viking OD, yes it's OP, but that's because Viking itself is weak. Besides it only last for 30 seconds if that. And most people can activate OD at least twice in MM battles. And it doesn't have The immortality ability in its overdrive that mammoth has, so it pretty much can be killed during its OD duration.

I think it has too many negative aspects: ·Less weight. ·Cant shoot over nonViking teammates, and can only shoot over Viking teammates if the target is on a higher elevation. ·Cant rock as good as some of the other hulls. . Slower turning speed than hornet and hunter.

How is being a light weight a good thing? It can't rock as good as hunter or dictator. It's the shortest hull in the game, meaning that if behind a teammate with a taller hull, it has to expose itself where as hulls like dictator can just shoot over non dictator teammates. It has twice as many chances of being knocked around than hornet because of how wide it is compared to hornet.

You can counter Viking by shooting at one of its corners. Viking is so light that even a wasp can push it without any problems at all. If you were at my rank, you would understand how and why.

We'll just have to see how much of an effect the OD has on the reload.

TBH, Viking may appear strong, but it's extremely unstable. Hunter is better than Viking in almost every way now. The extra 0.5 units of speed of Viking is not worth losing the immense 300 units of weight, and the weight is to make sure that you don't miss as often due to being hit in the corners. Besides, Viking may have an OD that increases the firing rate, but hunter has the OD that can disable it, put its supplies on cool down, and stop it in its tracks.

If wasp, Viking, and mammoth teammates can share their over drives, then spawn killing rates would go up dramatically. Imagine having a fire, thunder, railgun protection or protection against any other turret that annoys you the most, and then a hornet with that kind of turret activates its overdrive, and poof they can now ignore your protection against them. Sharing an overdrive with your teammates as a hornet means that your teammates will know exactly where the person with your teams flag is hiding, and from there they can launch a coordinated attack against that person. Also, Viking may have an OP OD, but it still doesn't stand a chance against a hunter with OD ready.

Yeah but that's because the standard version of hammer is too underpowered.

None of these images bare any resemblance of water except maybe the girl playing as the blue dictator thunder combo. So how can you be certain it's a sea server?

Probably same as current OD, Idk. But what I do know is that the rapid firing rate could also muffle the engine sounds of approaching enemy tanks. And unless the Viking is very alert, which probably usually won't be because it would be preoccupied, then a hunter can sneak from behind and turn off Vikings OD and put its supplies on cool down and the rest is history.

Remember, a hunter with OD ready can just go up to the Viking, activate OD, and poof Viking is now toast.

But if firebird has the burn in the isida long enough, then the isida is dead anyway, even if it kills the firebird.

True but how often does a thunder, railgun, shaft, smoky, striker, Vulcan, magnum, twins, ricochet, hammer, isida, and even freeze survive a firebird ambush and ends up killing the firebird? In my experiences, not very often.

Well it's pretty good, but you also need it MUed to at least 3/10 at your rank. In MM it depends on certain situations. For example, I'm willing to tackle a drugged up light hull with a good protection against my turret but only if I'm also drugged up, and I usually win. As for medium and heavy hull, then I'm keeping my distance. I would try it in MM. Note that if you buy thunder then you might want to also get a stable hull like hunter for example.

Yeah, the alteration is like a Damn gambling machine.

It can be gone if: · The effect duration wears out. · The Viking dies. · Hunters OD comes and turns it off manually.
