I'd choose thunder simply because of its versatile nature.

Bad idea, because everyone will just pick maps like silence and Rio and the other maps will just be unused.

I appreciate the concern, but I rarely see shafts at my rank, and most of them I do encounter aren't very good with the gun. But I do see some that do a good job at keeping me at bay, in this case I can just get my 26% shaft module on.

Well, protections for thunder are quite common up in my ranks, but that's only because without them, thunder can easily deal a nasty amount of damage and to a group of enemies as well. Besides if that shaft has a thunder module with more protection than I can deal with, I can always just switch focus to a target with less protection.

So you're suggesting something that as a thunder user, I cannot use a fire module because I'm not using firebird? Or if I'm using a shaft, I cannot use smoky module because I'm not using smoky?

That really pales in comparison to the size of the mistake that I made when I decided to make rail and hornet as my main combo back in late 2015.

So you consider versatile turrets like smoky or thunder as OP? Firebird, freeze, and isida and twins will kill you if they catch you, magnum can just equip the gunpowder alteration and hide behind a wall and you'll never know that it was targeting you until it's too late. Railgun in the right hands and supplies will leave you crippled, and only bold smoky or thunder users would dare to be in the crosshairs of a shaft.

Maybe but most of the time, it won't. The damage scatter is almost like an unaltered railgun. And besides like you said, the light hulls can just activate DA to cancel out thunders DD.

It makes it feel more like the magnum that was first released.

Can't drive away from an enemy that did a good of sneaking up on you from behind. And remember that most hulls can reach from one side of the map they're in to the other side in just minutes.

Unless the hornet had two forms of protections on (module, and supply) there's no way your statement is accurate.

Would an idea that suggests that speed boost not only increases overall speed andturning speed of hulls and rotation speed of turrets, but also increases speed of the projectiles shot by LOS turrets like Vulcan, ricochet, twins, and striker be reasonable?
