    I've been pissed off several times by having mults or less skilled players in my team and to avoid these kind of situations I usually play with people I know. Not necessarily friends or clan mates, but people I've met before that I know they perform well. There are so few players lately that in almost every battle I enter there are at least 2 people in my team that match my description. We don't always win, but at least everyone seems to do the best for the team which is just fine for me.

    Organized groups tend to do this even at my rank. It requires some planning ahead. A group of people joins a team while their friends enter the other. At first one team seems to dominate so that the people in the winning team get a higher score, the battle fund increases so they are less likely to leave when the takeover takes place => more fund. After a while the people from the organized group that are in the leading team start to mult and their friends from the other team end up victorious. They probably change roles after each battle or after a while so that both groups benefit from the tactic while also having some fun. I know it can be very frustrating, but there's not much we can do about it. This usually seems to happen in the middle and high ranks. If I remember correctly @wolverine848 has noticed similar behaviour in some of his battles.

    I've never tried out Dictator, but even at M3 I still think Hunter are Viking are better. The fact that it's rather unpopular indicates this as well. Some people change to Dictator only when golds drop...
  4. So again, a slight advantage for players who play mostly non-pro battles. If I am truely correct about the OD, I assume the hull choice (Titan vs Mammoth) will depend a lot on the type of battles people preffer so that may get things just right in terms of balance.

    It's a bit more difficult than that. You joined teams that are BOTH weaker and have an inferior score compared to the opposition. I was talking about battles in which 1 team is stronger, usually dominating the battle, but allowing the weaker team to have a superior score for a considerable amount of time.
  6. It would make sense as killing a player staying near a point is more important that attacking someone else so we could get awarded a bit more for taking a better decision. However, it may decrease our exp/crystal ratio which is rather bad for lower ranks.
  7. I expect them to give Mammoth a better overdrive thinking that it will actually make up for it, but for people like me that's still almost nothing. Why would I pay extra crystals for that if I barely play battles with overdrive enabled? In which way does this compensate? Does it make Mammoth harder to be pushed?

    I'd rather get Hunter M2. It doesn't unlock much later and I consider it better as it's superior when it comes to speed, turning speed and health. Morevoer, Dictator is a lot easier to hit. The only advantage it has is the weight and pushing power as it can push a Mammoth that sits on the flag and then run away with it but how often do you have a chance to do that? If you are one of those who care about golds you may get Dictator but I still think there are better choices if you need a medium hull.

    There is 1 advantage Mammoth has...turret placement. It pairs better with Shaft as it allows you to be less exposed while sniping and it seems to be just as good as Titan in Island CP for the exact same reason (despite the inferior pushing power). However, this is just not enough. Just for the sake of it I thought what would I prefer if I won a dream tank and I would rather get a Titan M4 (despite already having it M3 and quite a bit MUed) instead of a Mammoth XT M4. Edit: Just fought with some Legend 50-70 guys in Island CP (organized group). None of them was using Mammoth and IMO those guys really know what they are doing. Moreover, everybody from the strongest CP clans prefer Titan, regardless of the map they are playing.

    I'd like to say that there is no difference regarding the number of shots needed to destroy a titan or a mammoth. Both have the same health and they are both relatively easy to hit with all the pallets. Polygon is a relatively crowded map so you are very likely to find yourself in a 1v1 situation immediately after you spawn. Without the alteration almost every turret paired with Titan is going to destroy you. Has anyone noticed that Hammer lost in popularity in Polygon lately? I barely see anyone using it...

    I'm sure he will realise that protection is vital when he will reach the higher ranks especially if he plays in smaller to medium maps. Anyway, what do you think about that Shark T-B module that we got during the giveaway? I find it completely useless for the maps I play.

    Allowing us to play custom battles for free is a good thing, but the benefits are only significant for the more casual players that spend less time in battles. People can get crystals in standard battles from the battle fund while completing missions as well => More crystals. However, I think people in the medium to higher ranks care too much about the income and tend to forget about the gameplay. They'll just complete the missions in battles they don't like instead of actually enjoying other kind of battles or playing another game that is more fun.

    It's worse than useless in the majority of PRO Battles. It singnificantly decreases the DPS... If you play bigger maps (larger than Polygon) then it's worth it.

    Titan > Mammoth in most of the cases so I don't think it's worth it. Hornet M2 is just terrible at your rank, unless you want to get involved into XP/BP. Personally, I would never buy these 2 hulls. MUing digital doesn't really seem worth the investment right now so I think you should upgrade your Hunter as it's a rather good hull.

    In many cases after completing 1 daily mission a player would leave the battle. Devs know this, yet they don't decide to change something to actually make the battles enjoyable for these kind of people. Instead, they don't let them know when they have completed the desired daily mission. Terrible way of solving the issue. I'm not the case so I may be wrong, but I think that when players will be offered a good gameplay then they will stay, play and have fun. Your solution to the problem doesn't really improve anything.

    Yes, that's the alteration that improves the burning effect. Stock Fire is still good so you don't really need the alteration in every single battle to perform well, but I really like the gameplay it offers. It is rather expensive so you should buy it in a sale, but I think it's one of the 4 (maybe 5) M2 alterations that are worth the crystals invested.

    I've recently got the Compact Tanks alteration for Fire. It has a similar performance to the stock version in Arena and Island since it has a higher burst but overall it deals lower damage. However, it's a great investment for Polygon. It changes the gameplay quite a bit and I've had fun using it. Additionally, I see an increase in performance as my medium hull didn't always allow me to use all (or most) of my ammo before being destroyed (therefore losing potential damage) when using the stock version.

    In the battles I play it's easy. One team has more people from strong, well-know clans (most likely the other team has none). Then you just need to take a look and compare the equipment players use. Here's a perfect, quite old, example: As you can see in my team I had 1 player from akk and 1 from BAD. Both are players that I know they have plenty of modules and MUs and they aren't the only people from my side that I know while the other team had some random players and a lower rank. It's easier when you are actually playing as you start to feel which team is superior and by how much.

    Today things seem to be a bit better in terms of rank balance in battles, but that's all. As I've heard from a notorious saboteur, some oh his teams actually won battles despite of him multing for the whole 10 minutes so imbalance is still an issue. Battles are rather lame most of the times, but I don't think it's the MM to be blamed for this. They were just the same even before. Morevoer, it gets really boring after a while as I don't feel any variety when it comes to maps. Just the same 5-6 over and over again. The only thing that I like about MM is that it gives me a new way of power-levelling... Those who don't like the MM as it is now can only give feedback and hope that they work to improve it, run another test to get feedback from us again and then, maybe, introduce it as a permanent feature. If some people don't like MM in the final form then they can just play pro battles instead or find something else to enjoy.

    I know the objective is CP. But what's the point of capping the point, winning 50-0 and getting 300 crystals when we could fool the other team, win 50-30 and get many more crystals? I know the cry/score ratio depends on the score of both teams, but it's much better this way as you don't lose time searching for another battle after winning this one so fast...It's more fun like this and the whole team completely avoids to go and get the point until the enemies gets a high score advatage. As for CTF I've seen players attacking saboteurs instead of getting the flag (ofc while turning the whole tank and not only the turret and having fully MUed equipment). Considering the lack of skill of the average TO player this behaviour doesn't surprise me at all.

    In CP we don't cap the point on purpose because we know our team is superior. We do it just to fool the other team, let them believe they can win so that they actually stay in the battle, contribute to the battle fund just to completely destroy them in the end.. This happens in many of the battles I enter.

    As I see it, the MM is far from perfect. Good thing they've decided to let us test it instead of introducing it right away. The waiting time is ok. Now I wait maximum 4-5 minutes /day in the queue which is a bit less than the amount of time I was spending searching for a Fire-Wasp with places available. Friends became of less use than before. Not nice, but at least we can create a group so the issue isn't as significant. Teams are unbalanced. This is probably the worst thing about MM. Here is where some more work needs to be done. The new crystal awarding formula is beneficial to me, but it is probably going to lead to more imbalance between players in the long run. It would be also nice if we wouldn't have to press the button yet again after changing equipment. Off topic:

    Sadly, yes. If there are people who are more skilled then you, or drug more, or both your reward will be lower. There's still 1 good news: custom battles seem to work the same way as before

    Apparently the way crystals are awarded to players has changed. The growth of the reward related to the score is no longer linear, it became exponential. Now a higher score means a higher cry/score ratio. Less crystals for the weak players and more crystals for the already strong ones.

    Terrible. It takes a bit too long to actually enter a battle and once you enter some battles are still just steamrolls. "Balance"
