Voltage kit could be good, but I find that Railgun sometimes isn't as effective on the map Noise. Otherwise, you can go for it if you would like.

Ooooh nice. My best D/L came from one day I was in a Noise CTF on Red team, in battle where Captain was the highest rank (When I was a captain), and I used Vulcan M1 with Roger LGC and Viking M2. I had two pet isidas for most of the 15 minute battle, and used a lot of attack boosts. My final K/D from camping in their base, during a 15 minute battle, was 69 kills and 4 deaths. :D :P :ph34r: The K/D ratio itself isn't particularly impressive, but lots of kills ftw.

That gear won't last very long. Try to get a good M2 Kit like Northerner, Ram, or Atlas. Hornet M2 cannot last well against the M3s you will soon be facing, and Isida M2 quickly uses any power that it once had. I speak from experience.

Ayyy Minotaur is beast. I went for Osaka and then Minotaur myself. :P

Don't go for M2 hulls. You have good enough gear to last between Thunder M2, Mammy M2, Firebird M2, and Hornet M2. I would say don't go for Thunder M3 if you have other choices, because it isn't really good until you give it heavy MUs. If you are dead-set on it, I would say purchase Raiden since bulldozer would give repeat equipment.

I would personally try and pair it with M1 Dictator and Freeze M1. That allows you to cover long ranges, as well as neither piece of gear being particularly overpriced. Freeze is underrated at M1 because it actually deals as much damage as Firebird M1, but has a more useful effect. Your only options within the range of Stinger to Northerner are: Simoom, Anaconda, Fortress, Mountain, and Vesuvius. Riccochet gets almost completely outclassed by Twins M2 soon later, hence not mentioning it. Thunder M2 is powerful, but is soon overshadowed by the early unlock a few ranks later of Thunder M3. Vulcan M2 is decent, but you should try and MU it 10-15 times or so during and MU sale so that it can keep up with the better M2 turrets. I would personally reccomend Anaconda, Mountain, or Vesuvius, depending on the amount of crystals you have and your playing style.Anaconda kit has a terrible module, so only get that kit if you badly need better gear and don't have much crystals. Mountain is a nice mix of being cheap and powerful, although it suits a less dynamic playstyle. Vesuvius would be great for you if you are fine with the pricetag.

Go for Smoky. It is quite good in Polygon CP as you can camp near the edges as well as going to the point.

So I have lots of good gear for my rank, and can last probably up till General with my Twins M2 (With Alteration), and my Mammoth M2 (With 12 MUs). I don't have Hornet past M1 yet and I want to be able to play xp preferably. Should I go with Bumblebee, despite it not being great as a kit, or should I try to last till something like Rockshaper but be unable to play XP?

Ooooh nice, Minotaur is most definitely worth it. The module is really useful with the 25% Firebird protection. I got mine during that time when the kits had just the paint and no protections, which made me get it super cheap. :P

I purchased the Twins Alteration for my Twins M2. It is excellent with Mammoth and heavy hulls as now speed is a smaller issue due to larger range. This Alteration is definitely worth the crystals if you have the crystals spare and use Twins a lot. It reduces close-range capabilities, most notably when flag camping in maps like Noise (Blue Base) or Esplanade. On larger more open maps like Rio or Kungur the Alteration is outstanding. The new bullet speed makes it very comfortable to use; more like Ricochet without the bounce. The reload is still quite fast, so the drawback isn't particularly bad. I use a close range protection module, which helps me still not lose to opposing Twins and other short range turrets even when in close range. The most notable weakness is that close range turrets are more likely to kill you as you can't kill them first. Review Rating: 8/10
