See those 6 new paints in your garage? Can’t decide which one to buy? This article is supposed to help you on deciding. Read on, we’ll see if it does (of course it will, the author is Me!). Introduction It was a fine Wednesday. The tiresome Monday had been left behind, the happy Friday still ahead. And then, out of nowhere, came this announcement. A few hours later came this announcement. Surely Hazel was in some kind of good mood! Whatever the root cause, the happiness of us tankers didn’t last. We were faced by the mind-boggling question: which paints to buy? We could not buy all 6, however good they looked. The confusion spread like wildfire. But fear not, the fireman is here! I, @Magenta shall help you decide which paint to buy. EDIT: Whatever events this article concerned, is over. The predicted outcomes for who would win did not come true, but it was close. Clan Championship X Paints In this Paint Invasion, the CCX unit is clearly the largest and strongest. A lot of tankers expressed confusion – myself included – over which paint they should buy. The primary competitors were International and Vavilon. We shall look at each of the 4 paints, and decide which one to buy – what are we waiting for, let’s begin! Synergy While the colours used definitely go down really well together, the Vavilon paint when directly compared to the Synergy paint looks a lot better. Both are based on a black medium. At first glance, Synergy is worse than the Vavilon paint. However, as we see... I WILL STAB YOU! The classic XP combo ...the paint actually looks really good on certain combos. It looks really menacing when wore on an isida, and is a great match with the classic XP combo. Not to mention the small cog wheels, which is the logo of Synergy. These cog wheels look great on tanks. I mean, our tanks don’t run on magnetic levitation just yet, right! OK let’s not just focus on the looks. Let’s look at from the business point of view – will Synergy win? While a lot of people might simply point out the last defeat, Synergy has proved itself several times in the past. Nevertheless, I’ve a feeling that Synergy will lose this one. After all, the famed clan has not been living up to its grandeur in the past few tournaments. Chances of winning from Synergy: 25%. Overall score: 7/10 Pros: Great looking cog wheel design. Sleek choice of colours. Menacing look on certain combos. Better than the reporter paint. Cons: Loses to the Vavilon paint on most combos. Synergy might lose. Lack of universal coolness. Dull texture. You will be called a ruski-lover and a traitor if you buy this. Vavilon It looks really good. It’s just awesome, and I won’t waste too many words describing it. It’s simply too good. Period. Also, I myself bought this very paint. No, that's not a tail, that's a shaft waiting to fire at me. I had to sacrifice myself for this article! Apart from the looks, Vavilon actually has a good chance of winning. I’m not an eSports guru, but judging from the overall atmosphere, Vavilon has a good fan base. If there is smoke, there must be fire, right? Chances of winning from Vavilon: 35%. Overall score: 8/10 Pros: TOO GOOD LOOKING. Will probably win. Better than the Synergy paint. Cons: Some people might not like the shiny texture. Might induce enemies to attack you. You will be called a ruski-lover and a traitor if you buy this. This is the paint that I bought. Peppers Too hot, bae. The paint looks good when on tropical maps with lots of sand or greenery, such as Rio, Iran, and, dang, I forgot the names of the other maps in tanki… wait let me call @Destrod for some help… “Yo Desnug,” I tell the phone. “Heya Magneta, waddya want?” Destrod tells his phone. “It’s Magenta, not Magneta. Alright, so, Rio, Iran, Desert, Molotov, Massacre, and maybe Kungur, these are the places where the paint looks quite good. And yes, in one’s underpants too, right. The greenish look gives fine camouflage. And a lot of people actually like the colorful texture. However, I myself think that it’s nothing so good. It is too colorful for my superior taste. Kinda ugly looking it is. Yes, I hate the paint so I used a picture that has the lowest graphics and m1 mult equipment. Deal with it. Now, on to its chances of fetching you some handsome prizes. While Peppers once had a good reputation, so far as my knowledge goes (which is pretty newbish when it comes to eSports, I admit), has been deteriorating over the years. The name hasn’t been related with any huge accomplishments in recent times. I have a feeling that Peppers will lose. Chances of winning from Peppers: 21%. Overall score: 6/10 Pros: Looks good on certain maps. Looks good on certain combos, especially with Viking. Hot. VERY HOT! Cons: Too hot dang gimme da water and da icecream. Too colorful. Lack of universal coolness. Will most likely lose. You will be called a ruski-lover and a traitor if you buy this. International The paint received a lot of positive feedback. Look at what our beloved Wiki Editor and totally corruptible organizer of TTC has to say: The colour choice is super sleek. The simple design is too hard to resist. No 5-6 colours like Peppers, no cog wheels like Synergy, no shiny-shiny stuff like Vavilon. Just coolness. It actually looks better than the Vavilon paint, in my superior opinion. Anyways, leaving all that theoretical talk... The epitome of coolness Let's go hunt some ruskis! ...it actually looks quite good on tanks! So unless you have swashophobia, go for for it… except if you care about receiving some prizes. While it scores sky high on looks, team international might lose. I mean, ruskis are pros, ok? No I’m not expecting special favours from . No I’m not ruski )). No I’m not a traitor, I don’t care. No I wasn’t bought off. Yes this is my own opinion. Russians are good at this game because it’s such a bad game. While I congratulate Team International on coming this far, I wouldn’t gamble on them winning. Chances of winning from International: 19%. Overall score: 8/10 Pros: Epic looking. Simple design. You won’t be called a traitor if you buy this. Best looking paint among all 4 paints. Cons: Will probably loose. Looks like swash, and a lot of people hate such paints. So yes, the choice is really between Vavilon and International. If you care only for looks, go for International. If you care only to get some prizes, gamble on Vavilon at your own risk, because, don’t forget the fact that I’m a noob when it comes to eSports and XP/BP. And since XP/BP is for noobs, if I’m noob at XP/BP that means: (-) x (-) = (+) So I’m a pro! Yeah! For ultimate comparison, I got my hands on this (credits to @Great): Anyways, so that’s that. The only difference is the colour, and if closely looked into, the logo. Both paints are ugly, and hence there is no question of buying based on looks. If you’re buying one of the two, you should look into which side has more chances of winning. As of when I’ve been writing this, VK is winning over OK: Cheer for VK because that's the team I'm in! However, OK has been catching up lately. While VK has had an initial advantage, OK has shown significant growth. It is possible that OK catches up and wins the battle. However, VK will likely not give up so easily. The future winner is unclear, although I myself have placed my bets on VK. It will most likely win, given the initial advantage.
