    Luscious Limmy's GUIDE TO LIFE

INTERNET / LEARNING / CHANGING RE ABOVE ... @@Truthteller, absolutely agree - the internet can bring many good things. Just be safe about it. Always have a little "professional skepticism" in what you read or see or hear. @@SmexierGiraffe provided some good ideas on the prior page (entry#31) to validate who you think you are talking with - voice call first / video chat next ... as you progress through getting to know more about each other - but never with any personal details really needed. Unless there is to be something 'real' exchanged. And learning - 100%. New countries, cultures, religions, people, ideas. The world is truly fascinating. I've lived in other countries, and believe when you get to know new things, it can only benefit you - you can discard your old ideas that you don't think are right anymore, and have that direct access to new ideas - where if you like them, you can incorporate them into your everyday... This is a way to make ourselves better. Since all we know in the early years is our family life. But there can be so many different versions of reality. Just takes knowledge, time and effort to make them happen in your own unique and special way..!! @Blackdrakon30 @Tofu Is this allowed? Could this be my BLOG page? Please please please don't say no...and then I'll assume yes. Even if that means ASSuME. So a good Tanki friend writes (apparently). linked in this article... goo.gl/CH2dM3 ... created a good think, had to respond ... so this is it. BLOG DIARY ENTRY # [who knows] - THE TIMES WILL BE A CHANGIN' ... like it or not ... There will always be people that we will wish we could have gotten to know better, to be around more, to enjoy, or even to love. It just is what it is... Relationships take time and energy, along with caring, desire to even make it work when it gets hard, lots of communication and respect, along with compromise / looking for the win-win scenarios... The people we meet can become such a huge part of your day-to-day life, that it creates a hole in your mind, body and even soul. But sometimes, as we experience different things everyday, have different people influencing us, combined with the historical baggage that we all carry, close people can drift apart. A slow drift is more easily digested than ripping someone out of one's life. BAD JANE! [joking, of course ... I know what happened ... I was there.] But it will happen. All you can do is find new things to enjoy, new people to meet and talk with, new things to learn about the world. It's a big place out there ... go explore and enjoy!! Nice work PPS... Thanks for reminding me how old I am ... just in case I forget (which can happen as u get older!) Life truly is a game. Everything that you come across. There are multiple routes to carry a flag back to your base, just as there are many ways to get there in the first place. You will have people on your side, and some will be against you. You help your friends, they help you. You find people that are better players, and watch them - learn, ask questions, find out how you can help them too (go for GOOD karma)... You find trainers / mentors, people that have faced similar obstacles and succeeded. Never assume you know everything ... ASSuME. There is always more to learn, and the environment around you is always changing. Learn to be fluid, adjust the sails when the winds change. Just keep moving forward. And try to be better. And think about what type of statement you want others to say about you when the day is done. What would make your mother proud. You can do things for other people, but ultimately, for success, you have to want to do it for yourself. Not a problem - widely done - we can't have 60ppl in our In-Game Clan ... at least not yet... Go for it - enjoy!! Ditto. Not to worry Sparky ... have had that happen WAY too often. Waited and waited for @kaisdf to rank up to Brigadier at the same time.. We're all ready .. He had Epic Fail ... mine went OK tho ... FINALLY!! lol Kaiser... :P Love it - Mangoes Eating Tofu... Imma lookin forward to eating u both! Yummy... B)

    Luscious Limmy's GUIDE TO LIFE

LIES.... FOLLOW UP Thanks Drak, that is correct. I would never assume it is OK to share another person's real name online... Always watch out - the internet is all-knowing and all-seeing --> and NEVER forgets!! I would do anything I can to help protect Jane, as I would family... For anyone left wondering, Jane sent me a note. I'm glad she saw/read the post. But nothing will ever happen. Not an issue with age I'm sure now, although I expect if I was a @Truthteller from the beginning, it would have changed the dynamics. Or would it, ... or how? My Clan has been awesome in continuing our interactions. I'm now more of the belief that age doesn't matter in the game ... more how you play and how you interact with people. Those make lasting impressions. And that's how I've always judged my likes / dislikes. On the positive side, her note helped me figure out perspective. Also I think some useful reminders people! A ) trust online is hard, and potentially dangerous. B ) parents and school tell you to never share personal information, but it happened. C ) I didn't share, leaving a very one-sided relationship. I'll share a little more about me. My mom (RIP) was in the public eye. I may just, in a couple of months once I go home and visit my dad, post a picture of her with Queen Elizabeth when she was in England having a private meeting. Well, spilled the beans, might as well now..! But because of that, I think I'm extra paranoid. Still sad I ever started making assumptions, though we need them to live normally. Aaaagh, music ... As I'm writing, this song just came on - hadn't heard in a while, but another favorite! Major Lazer & DJ Snake - Lean On (feat. MØ) (Official Music Video) GUIDE TO LIFE - continued / extracted from the Halls of the Happy Dragons So, was just searching Clan pages for some useful tidbits of information. Sadly, the first one I came across Sept2016 was a reality - #CancerSucks. SIDEBAR - #CancerSucks. Guys and gals, my Stormy Clan of Dragons, sorry I've missed a few days. More missing still to come, though I'll be here as much as I can. IRL, my mother was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer a few weeks after I started playing Tanki. It spread to her lymph nodes, then to her bones, then to her liver. She's been laying sleeping for 1 week in a palliative care unit, barely talking or having a few sips of water, drugged up to fight off the pain. She awoke tonight and gifted family and some friends with about 3 hours of interaction, laughter, love and hugs. OMG - we haven't had 8 people in that room since I got home 4 days ago. It's bringing tears to my eyes again - just remembering. We don't know if she'll have 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks, but jaundice is setting in and her liver is starting to shut down. Tanki has been my getaway. To vent frustrations by blowing things up, and getting off reality for 15 or 30 min at a time. I can focus here, and try to forget what is happening and how sad it is. I liked the 2nd part, so wanted to put it in here...especially since it was Mother's Day last weekend in Canada... But a thought - remember real life once in a while. "Stop and smell the roses" I was always told by mom. Enjoy each day like it is a "present". Think of your mom. Go give her a hug, for me, while you still can. Do something nice like clean the dishes or the floors this weekend, without her asking. Put away your clothes or clean up your room. Tell her that you love her. Until you are a mother, none of us will ever realize the full extent to how much we mean to them. It doesn't have to be mother's day to have a special place in your heart for your mom. Apologies for being sappy. I just had to get it out, and as I read back, it has been therapeutically relaxing. Thank you, just for being here.. XOXO LF. And from Aug 2016 - for anyone thinking about Clans ... what has your experience been like? CURIOUS!! The illustrious leader that created Happy Dragons was unique. Tremendously mature, and I think was like 16 years old? I think the clan idea is great. It creates a community, like in days of old where people in a community helped each other. Whether you live beside each other and have known families for generations, or like us where we live all around the world and many don't know each other's "real life". What I've loved about the clan is the feeling of belonging, where people like to help me with ideas on what to buy, some game play ideas, just playing and getting included / invited to a game, or even helping on daily missions. I support @DragonOfStorms on his tremendous leadership of our Storm of Happy Dragons. He's created fair Rules, and I see him regularly apply them fairly and judiciously (but not harshly), even when it can hurt  . In the olden days, where you still had to live beside someone, the communities that thrived did NOT "Off With Their Heads!" :o . The success was built from mutual respect and understanding. We are all different people, and we can flourish with respecting each other's Different Temperaments, Talents and Convictions (taken from Sigma Chi Fraternity, for those males in North America getting to College one day). That creates the open concept, out of the box thinking, that allows us all to learn and grow. We do not need to think people are doing something "to" us, but rather that they are trying in their own way to make the world a better place. Everyone is allowed a different opinion for how they achieve that, and I'm open to respecting that, or trying to walk in another's shoes to see their point of view. Since I had a vacation in Jamaica a few months back, I'll leave with Bob Marley's quote - Don't Worry. Be Happy Mon!! B) :D

Thanks..! Do you know, if you get both alterations, can you have them both turned on at the same time? Or more all at the same time, if more are introduced in the future?? Actually... Just found WIKI - looks like only 1 at a time ... correct? http://en.tankiwiki.com/Alterations Anyone with TWINS tried the "Plasma Core Accelerator" versus the "Stable Plasma"? I'm thinking to add one - if it can help me kill the enemy faster and easier!! Truth - do you have the Stable Plasma on most of the time then? ...looking for help... MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS - it affects us all... Kaiser. Buddy. U aren't alone. I think it's likely passed through almost everyone's mind at least once. I know I had the thoughts a few times myself - mostly in the teens. Now I'm wondering, is it actually just normal?? Do we ALL have these many weird thoughts and emotions??? I guess in the end, it is what we decide to do about it, and how much effort we want to put into making changes for the better. Not sure they ever stop, but they definitely slow down after high school. We've never met in person, but I care. I'm weird, but I care about the Clan and all the Happy Dragons in it. Everyone who has posted there or on Skype, had some type of activity. Sorta wish DoS would come back one day so I could tell him. You guys helped me thru the dark months of my mom's cancer. And in general, just helped provide a break from the reality around us. Blowing up other tanks has been truly therapeutic...! LOVE "TED TALKS"!!! More and more stories from everyday people on such a wide variety of topics. Oh gawd - thanks for pointing out my life is half over... But I don't care right now - I'm in better shape now than when I was 25. Didn't want to write her name Fleety ... make everyone jealous, and then remind the Clan of someone else that has turned off Tanki... As much as I don't really care how old I am, it doesn't matter how old u r either. 10 - 12 - 14 - 16. You've had some pretty intelligent and mature things come out on print before. You will do well. I know it. HEAT HITS TORONTO!! YAY!!! SIDE TOPIC: -> THANK YOU TO THE FIREBIRD GODS for finally bringing heat to Toronto yesterday.... Hit 32C, jumping from like 10C the day before!! And today again!! I looove the heat. http://prntscr.com/f9a3v5 Car windows down, sunroof open, music blasting almost as loud as the stereo will allow it... and me screaming along (singing?) and loving the drive!! Thanks again JANE for bringing that back to me! Some of my favorite current songs (and 1 older fave) all played in a row!! > Kygo, Selena Gomez - It Ain't Me > Julia Michaels - Issues > LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem ft. Lauren Bennett, GoonRock The only thing that could have made it better was if Clean Bandit - Rockabye ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie [Official Video] -and- Coldplay - Hymn For The Weekend (Official Video) came on too... (love the India / Holi parts in there ... I miss India - only 12 days a couple of years ago, but so wonderful!!! Ap kaisa ho bhais!?)

    Luscious Limmy's GUIDE TO LIFE

Fleety - you have been a good friend for quite some time. Sorry to have you find out I'm a little older than u once thought. Might all make more sense now too though? I truly did enjoy 'our personal circle' chats with another dear friend... M-axis - I've always enjoyed throwing people off a little. Like that cheeky bugger @Tofu. Be unpredictable a bit in life. Change course, try something new... Don't worry, this past year has taught me that it doesn't matter if you are the teen or the parent - most of the language is the same, with only little changes - like how "OP" today was like "Totally Rad" many years ago... lol We are all just humans, trying to find a direction and reason for life. I have a much better appreciation for the people of tomorrow now. The world will be in good hands while you are working to pay for my retirement hhh!! OH, on the way into work today, this song was playing.. Seemed fitting for this week and me. (I love music so much more now - thank you "JANE" - even if it is hard to listen to some songs). Look it up on youtube.com - Avril Lavigne - Complicated (Official Video) LASTLY, LOL, nope, I'm not Leslie. Glad to see I'm not the only one that needs an outlet online.. You know, we didn't have this option when I was a teenager... Thanks Shresth for the post. Appreciate the support!! PPS MAKES LIMMY LAUGH / PONDER WHY HE TAKES TIME FOR TANKI ... AND MORE LIFE THOUGHTS OH MY gawd - thank u for that laugh PPS! "Jane" said that exact same quote one day too. Yikes. :D "Someone" asked me a question today in Skype. I thought it was worthwhile to share my thought... Q: Limmy? Why are you playing TO then? Shouldn't you be spending time with your family instead? A: I normally only play at work. But srsly, I don't know. like drak just said, its a way to unwind, to escape. I've been thinking about it some the last 2 days too. The "WHY". There are always reasons, of which there are always options, across a whole spectrum of black and white, and the at least 50 shades of grey in between. I think the best reason(s) - new friends, new ideas, escape from reality, stress reduction, anonymity... u can share a lot of internal confusions, while u don't have to look like a complete dork B) around the people you know and love everyday...? Of course, it is important for my kids to know that no one knows everything, and that we all make mistakes. And we do talk about that and other certain things, especially when I'm tucking them into bed, saying prayers, rubbing their backs, just being close at an end-of-day unwind point. Especially if I've been a really dumb f*ck with them that day, or yelled too much taking my other stresses out on something little they have done. It happens. No one is perfect. But I try to learn from what I experience... There are no courses to be a parent. You take what happened to you as you grew up - that is your base expectation. But life doesn't have to be that way. Be a DIVERGENT (like the movie / book series). Learn from what you see around you, what you read, what your friends are saying as they experience life. You can focus on the parts that you like - and try to discard the parts that were hard on you, or that you didn't like. As I think I once said to Jane (sad that I listened to her request and deleted everything now), my mom (RIP mom I love u 4ever) had a tough life growing up. Between the beatings and mental abuse and having to pay rent at 12yo just to stay at home, she became obsessed with making sure me and my younger sister had nothing but love and attention. It helped a lot knowing that she was always there, supporting us in anything. It gave an amount of confidence that we could go out and try anything, and that it was OK to fail. Just because you have a life, doesn't mean it is the only life you get. You can do anything, become anything. But it takes effort and knowledge and the right help. If I could wish anything for anyone actually reading this ... go out and be better. Be great. Be the best you can be. (not trying to sound like a US Army commercial)... ;) Oh, changed to the white colors today. I tried to read my green on the phone last night for first time ... was hard to see. Just can't be normal grey ... sorry ... habit.

TEEN HELPS LUSCIOUS LIMMY WITH DAUGHTER ISSUES U R the Smexiest Giraffe in the world... We are all lucky to know you!!! SG here is referring to the YouTube link in http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=357036#entry6138557. I love the above note as proof that teens can teach parents ( but don't expect everything you are trying to get away with is right!! LOL) The guy in the video, with the blessing and delusion of 3 sets of parents, tried to work his way into their sphere of friendship, and then place them in very potentially dangerous situations. Could happen to any boy or girl. Or even adult for that matter. Trust is so hard. I grew up very sheltered and would have never ever thought something like this could happen. It is a scary video, and I agree those 3 kids who 'starred' are probably "over"-freaked out now. Life is sad that these things even possibly exist. Just watch out for each other, help protect each other. And thank you @SmexierGiraffe for the advice I will use in the coming couple of years...

Awesome read!! My mother always said this to me when I was growing up ... you can do anything. You need to know what it takes to get there, and be willing to put in the effort, and maybe get some good direction or coaches. All good things take effort!! So, especially liked the part: "That one line reverberated through my ears and it became my defining line for the rest of my life. "Nothing can stop you my son, you can do and become whatever you want to; even a caterpillar eventually grows wings.""
