I went one day and counted to make sure I was over 500, checked the next day but wasn't there..., then saw the times were NOT the same as the server restart, and I didn't even make 250 the first day. So played some more before the cut-off yesterday - always wanting to know I was over 250, hoping for more, but not sure how to check (if there was even a way?). I believe I have heard through the ages, that your main account and all alts should be listed on our members page. That you can NOT be part of multiple clans at the same time. However, with that said, I also think there has been some modification of the rules In-Forum Clans ~versus~ In-Game Clans .. given that our members are in at least [REP], [FNS], [WoW], [HAT], [EN], [RA], [ToXic] and [XP-BP] ... a few different game clans... @Extreme245, thanks for the above note - well said. To share a bit of my story ... I don't believe I ever asked to become a Crested, nor did I ask much of what it was about until DoS appointed me. When there was an open spot and some of the Cresteds or Talons put my name forth as an option, all I could do was say thank you for your confidence in me, and also mention the other people that I would support. Now, with that said, I would sometimes PM our FearlessLeader with ideas or comments or suggestions or where I thought I could help. But not to say "pick me, pick me". Let me relate that to the real world and work also... When I first started working, I looked at all the others beside me and thought - boy ... these are my competitions. Sort of true. But I'm starting to realize there is no competition, nor right and wrong. Hard work and effort, combined with right time and place, knowing and helping the right people, and a little bit of luck. Companies are like pyramids. If 10 people start working every year, only 7 will be managers in a few years, only 3 will be executives in ~10 years, and only 1 person will be the boss. And there isn't a new boss every year, so that's only like 1 person out of 100 (or 50,000 depending on the size of the company). It's pretty rare to make it all the way to the top. You need to do what you think is right, what you enjoy, what you are good at. In the right time and place, it can be appreciated. In other places, it may not be. But things are constantly moving - the patterns and relationships are fluid. There is no easy one answer. Just do your best and be yourself. Karma - good things (or bad) will come. I'd personially ;) like to see you back in the Crested list @personia. You have the history and knowledge of our Clan. Hey @@kaisdf, glad to hear your mum is safe. I have some friends visiting over there and they were on a tour when it happened, and they got caught in a lockdown for a few hours. Some scary stuff happens around the world, and sometimes close to home. Sometimes sadly, even in the home.... But let me assure you - we all have a choice on how we want to interpret it, and what we want to focus on. 90% of what happens around you is mental. Focus on the good stuff, focus on positives, focus on making yourself better, focus on being the best you - that you decide is the best. 80% of the world doesn't care to try - they just want to complain about what is happening to them. Don't be that person - be the top 20% that decide to make the effort, to change what they can, to influence their sphere of control where possible. Not everything is possible, but some things are. It doesn't come easy - or else everyone would be doing it. Be prepared to put in the effort - it is well worth the reward. We can all be in control of certain things (if nothing else, how we want to interpret or internalize what happens around us). Keep your soul, control your mind, believe in your values, and stay true to yourself. :wub: Ah, sweet Tanki dreams ... :o So.., why play Tanki..? Good question! Fun - yes. Also ... friendship, fellowship and camaraderie with friends and clan mates! International reach, providing a learning opportunity about more of the world. If I can help others cross that large chasm, by building and sharing my set of knowledge, then I have helped someone else be better, faster - and I feel good about that. We both have some way to go yet until 606K to move into Brigadier world... @kaisdf is right there beside me at 569k exp. @gabriele02 is close to ranking, at 593k exp. And while I'm checking, Zen is at 588k and Ashs is at 536k. Cupcake is at 558k, TTK has 577k, GoldReign = 566k, Uhu @ 542k.
