The benefits of weekly chains and other stuff (new fund distribution, slower ranking etc) has made that thing pretty useless, in the Tanki of now.

I feel you. Most of the battles I play in from my @Total.Skill account (which has Keeper kit micro-upgraded to M2), I have to carry a team full of M0, non-turning noobs (newbs/newbie doesn't equals to noob) and have to carry them against a team of M2s...

Barely anyone who posted in the forums from your era is still posting... However, there are some players who are playing, that are from your era.

Well, I am opting for a early M2 kit and a late one. Anyway, slow-ranking it is. I am farming crystals on tons of accounts since like 3 years.

I want 2, MUed to M3. Would that be possible with normal playing? I really am thinking I should go for the slow-ranking method.

Would that be viable? Or I should just do the slow-ranking?
