    Since you're using things like 'distance' as counter, I would like to suggest few counters to Hornet OD. 1) Take cover. This is not hard considering how many walls, buildings, ground layers, bridges & other obstacles are in any map. It's always a wise decision not to open yourself too much to enemies, even if your enemy team has no Hornets 2) Run away from Hornet if it's using a short-range turret. Not super hard to escape from it unless you were very close to it initially 3) Kill it. Very easy, given that Hornet have the least number of HP in any hull, except for Wasp I know

    Some ODs are defensive & some are attacking. You need to understand the difference. Hornet OD is attacking type, like Viking & Wasp ODs. Why are you so against Hornet OD.? Do enemy Hornets keep chasing you all around the map & chasing only you.? Is your ex using playing with Hornet mostly.? Common dude, Hornet OD isn't that much OP like some of you guys are trying to prove

    If an enemy has 50% protection against your turret & equip DA, you'll end-up making only 1/4 od the output damage of your turret. That isn't fair.

But XP/BP is the most popular as it requires very good skills People who react haha to this comment has a higher chance of getting 1-shot killed by a Rail-Hornet with OD & DD active (hopefully booster drone too)

    Don't forget that I mentioned players with 50% protection modules + DA + drones as well. They're unstoppable unless your team has a Hornet. Well, ODs are meant to benefit the owner mostly & they should be so. Don't forget that Hornet OD lets your whole team see the HP of enemies & spots them as well Well, technically yeah. But we all know that it won't happen

    When an enemy Titan drops a dome in your base and a couple of enemy enemies are spawn killing your whole team while staying in the dome, also when a couple of Vikings with 50% protection against your turret and with DA & a good drone active, who's going to save your team dude.? This is the reason Hornet OD exists. No matter how much OP an enemy player (possibly a buyer) is, Hornet OD gives your team a huge advantage. Otherwise, enemies like I mentioned above, will dominate battles

    Yea, but using a client like I suggested will enable all players to play lag-free & with constant FPS. Actually, the updates are not much frequent in Tanki. They're about once per month. Updating the client once every month won't be a problem for players, given the fact the they need to download resources once at least every month because they need to delete that cache file in appdata folder, thanks to the errors Tanki client gives. About new players, they actually won't mind downloading a bit larger software & installing, given that it needs very lower system requirements.

    About this making a lot of kills as JG without dying even a once. This is pure talent. JG doesn't have the advantages of drones or supplies, so JG has to depend only on skills. Seems like this player use a fully upgraded turret, hull & protection modules, all of which a gizmo player should have. Me too have ruled the match as the JG without dying even once, so it's not super hard if you've got what it takes. A JG doesn't need to have the help of Hornet OD to find hiding enemies. It can simply turn on its missile system & look around, if an enemy is in the path, it'll automatically start locking on. So, you can see an enemy is there, just let the turret to lock on & you can kill the enemy.

    People who have those personal things against Hornet OD, don't forget that there are Hornets in your team too. Those ally Hornets do the same thing to YOUR enemies. It's because of these ally Hornets, your team can return team's flag, your team can get control over the point again (in siege), you can see the health of JG, your team can win in TDM battles. Hornet OD is a double-edged sword. It works in both ways

    Me too think the best solution is what @wolverine848 said. Those players with OP GS will rank up quickly and you'll meet them lesser & lesser in future. There's no any other way as I feel.

    You can use the Ideas & Suggestions section to make suggestions. This idea has flaws, because I can equip equipment of 5000 GS and enter a 5k-6k battle and then change into my 9228 equipment with a simple visit to garage.

    So, here's the thing. I'm not a programmer or have a wide knowledge in that area, but I have a little bit of knowledge in these things. Tanki Online HTML5 client works like (maybe IT IS) a web browser that can only access Tanki related things (battles, profiles etc.) The client doesn't store things like map details, battle screen, lobby UI or anything permanently in it, during the installation process. Everything is being downloaded when we do those specific tasks. The lobby UI is downloaded when we first open the app, Kungar map is downloaded when we first enter a Kungar battle, garage UI is downloaded when we enter the garage for the first time etc. Those downloaded data are stored in users/user_who_installed_Tanki_client/appdata/TankiOnline folder. Now consider World of Tanks (it's an online multiplayer tanks game, for those who don't know). The WoT client downloads every single thing (map data, lobby UI, tanks data etc.) while installation process. Those data are basically being installed into your PC. Only thing downloaded while in lobby are the specific variables assigned to each tank you own, so the client can show only those tanks in your lobby. The only things downloaded while in battles are other players' positions, the specific variables of the shots the fired, etc. When you enter a battle, the map is not being downloaded, because the map is already installed into your PC & your CPU/GPU can simply load it into the game. So, my suggestion is, make a Tanki Online client which works like the WoT client. I'm pretty sure that these 2 types of clients have different names, but I don't know what they are. Now let me state the pros & cons of a WoT-like TO client ...Pros... Everything is already installed, so entering lobby, battles, garage takes only milliseconds Battle UI is already installed, so supply icons & other common UI elements are loaded instantly. So, players can get into action instantly No FPS drops. You can get the maximum FPS your CPC/GPU allows Only the small details like player positions, others players' names, their shot details etc. are downloaded while in battles, so we can have a very low ping As you can see, everything is faster & better. But this has some drawbacks ...Cons... Alternativa will have to release a new game client update each time they release a new in-game update (like when moving alterations to containers, chnaging turret/hull parameters etc). Making a new game client update every time they release a new in-game update won't be easy. But Alternativa can simply make lesser & lsser updates, so they don't have to update the game client every week. Players will also be forced to install new game client updates every time new updates are available ............ Considering the pros & cons, I think pros have more weight, so can you please release a new client with all the necessary game elements in the client.? Almost every online multiplayer game has such clients, why can't Alternativa.? It's true that developers will have some more work to do, but other companies are doing this. Besides, Tanki is a lightweight game with lesser in-game elements & details, so this won't be much hard.

    Actually, it's not a big deal for most railgun players as they use hornet often. You know, hornet OD can simply neglect enemy's 50% module & DA

    Not actually. Nobody waned turret augments to be OP & expensive. Everybody will be happy if Alternativa just make them balanced like earlier & available for the earlier prices
