    Yup , I don't even bother staying to see how thats going to pan out. Just vote with my tank treads and roll off to the next battle. At present on my regular playing account I won't bother playing against anyone with any strange icons... it means m3 equipment.. and spawn die results.. Theres so many insta kill variants out there now its not worth trying, just pull up stumps and try again, A

    A lot of the time, there are players not playing the battles they want, because they're looking for mission requirements. Maybe you've got the combo play 3 CP's and also need 25kills.... you go in and treat it like TDM and you're going to get close to solving both problems. That doesn't make it right, its just an observation. Second observation is that if your team is getting completely hammered, a lot seem to give up and just salvage whatever they can in the way of kills and trying to stay alive.... A

    What they have failure to deliver, except manure. Match Making has failed to deliver... Quick Battle selection waiting times are as long or longer than they've ever been Entry to fair battle. 7 out of 10 battles are outrageously stacked or over when you get there Churn as you get in and out of the complete crappola battles it feeds you into. It still feeds you into the same battle time after time... there's another half an hour each wait If it was a horse you'd take it out the back and shoot it now!

  6. I don't even bother playing with Gizmos or LegEnds its just a waste of time even on LegEnd Aunty.... But at brig when you're playing a group and you're obviously the lowest rank there, everyone seems to hone in on you. Maybe its the timing I play, maybe I'm just unlucky, but I seem to end up in that position quite often. Between that and being fed straight back into a battle you've just left, its enough to make you cry in your beer
  7. I see the matchmaking algorithm is still somewhat brain dead. If you pull out of a battle once, why would it bother trying to put you back into the same battle on the next two occasions? That has to be irritating to me, and the team its still putting me into. It need to pop a flag on battles you've been in and left so you don't get fed straight back in for another go, and perhaps not be quite so scared to start a somewhat underpopulated battle. AA To keep you on your toes? Remind you how the plebs live? Nope I don't really have a good reason. :)

  9. Not so sure about the hit/miss thing, sure there's some element of disparity between two clients based on ping, but I seem to recall rockets doing fly by splash damage. Maybe I'm imagining it... or got something wrong... Mostly the ones that hit, I see hit... A
  10. Rank range for battles Anyone else getting tired of being shoveled into battles where you seem to be the lowest rank and by a good margin? I'd like to see a selectable range for the ranks you play with. Obviously there are those that want to battle everyone regardless of rank and equipment they can open the range right out, and the rest of us plebs can close it down so you only play with a couple of ranks in front...
  11. Still in my sights is that ridonculous smoky alt that gives it an autocannon.... that impact is worse than twins was in a previous life before it was smurfed. Next has got to be striker... its getting to be as bad as magnum ever was. When even a miss deals more than half a titans health... something is seriously wrong. And a string of direct hits that magically seem to fly round corners can annihilate same said titan with double armour up. That double shot hammer needs a bit of attention, but nothing like striker or smoky And last but not least this tank heating business going on with vulcan, it doesn't do enough damage to ever kill you before it overheats you, its just turned into a long range Firebird.... They all need some smoothing out guys....

    XT-Skins, Drones, Balance Update

    Well it looks like you overbalanced the Freezer... I can see the coolant leaking out the side. Its become the new most testicularly challenged weapon right in there with magnum. Any low grade nub with an m0 can obliterated everyone now. Love Aunty One of those few times dribbler nearly makes a good point, just eliminate the drones altogether. Waste of space.

    MM Delay has to be the height of inefficiancy surely. Sure you take your time looking through a list, that suits your map tastes, team requirements and rank levels. But you end up in a battle where unless it all goes seriously pear shaped you're going to play to the finish, Delay gives you nothing to do but sit and wait, sometimes enough time to make a cup of tea. It takes you to a map not of your choosing, of which many people don't seem to want to play on half of them. It dumps you in seriously one sided teams, where players continue to leave for both the previous reasons. And then you leave because its just a crap result. If you really wanted this to work, you'd let ppl choose what maps they want, and what kind of ranks they will play with, similar to the old system, MM with some bells and whistles to make it work for players. Not just jam everyone into one battle because its there and YOU want to fill it. Aunty

QuickBattle - Certain Destruction Team Deathmatch - Team Mismatch Deathmatch - Mismatch Control Points - Chaos Spots Capture the Flag - Let loose the Lag Assault - Insult Rugby - Thugby Battle List - At least its more fair in there. And more importantly you can choose your own poison Aunty

    The difference is when you search for 2 minutes you get what you want, map or team, friends or something else. Not dumped into some badly planned team, on some far away map, that you're not prepared for.

I and a bunch of other tankers demonstrated during the first test that you spend in excess of 1 minute >looking for battles on your own, winning teams, proper ranks, favorite maps, etc etc. But when you spend time looking for battles, YOU are doing something, and you join a battle that looks favourable to you. Instead of waiting 1m 30s to be dumped into some battle where nothing looks remotely like what you want or expect. Aunty

    Observations: 1) You still have a big churn on starting a map, because no one knows where they are going. If you arrive at a map you don't like, with what looks like a dud team, whats the first thing you're going to do. LEAVE, and this was identified at the outset long before yesterdays woeful adventure. 2) Joining a battle group is a recipe for disaster. I'm reasonably sure this is where those legend battles with low ranks are coming from. You're going to have to look more closely at the participants in a battle group and assign perhaps the highest rank in the group as either the highest or second highest rank for the battle they are to be added into. If they all happen to be the same use regular matching. 3) At least you did modify mission requirements. But now its so difficult to find a battle that works for you, in the target you're trying to achieve they are nigh on impossible. Also adds to the point 1 churn on battle start. Having said that, I have managed a couple of easier missions, on lower ranked accounts. All in all though, its not a good position to be in. 4) You need to hold off on putting people into some of these battles, that you're desperate to start, and place them into a fairer battle so they might stay. This also was identified previously, nothing seems to have changed here. Ideas: 1) Remove this rubbish! But you don't like to admit something doesn't work, so keep fixing it then. :) 2) Do NOT return a player to a battle they've just left. I left because its rubbish and I don't want to be there. 3) Stop the battle countdown from interfering with the chat panel. Might as well do something while you wait. Love Aunty

    I can't find anywhere else to post this. But wouldn't the ballista kit, be better off being the trebuchet kit? A ballista is essentially a giant crossbow, a flat trajectory weapon, where as the trebuchet is a arc'd weapon like the sphagnum is. Aunty
  23. I think the server needs to open more battles, if the existing ones are reasonably full 75%+ for arguments sake, and the tank being slotted in is not a good match to the battle. If you're being fed into battles that you're wildly outranked for you just become depressed cannon fodder. So rather feeding you into this kind of scenario consistently, the server ought to open a new battle centred more around the players rank. Love Aunty
  24. Non pro battle frequency I feel there is a need to reduce rank brackets, to avoid instances of being fed into battles where you're 5 ranks below everyone else in the battle. The bracket is a great idea in theory, but generally I think it is a failure. Feed whoever you like into those battles, the lower ranks keep filtering out, they become a battle for maybe the top 2-3 ranks in that group and that's it. I understand there a some who won't agree with this, but I think they'll be the noisy minority. love Aunty_Entity
  25. If this were going to happen, I'd expect that at the moment there would be no 4 prot modules to found out there in containers. Just 3sies..
