    Considering they're meant to be full 10 a side battles, they're to big for small maps like sandbox. I don't think the maps will become extinct but no more missions there :( Which is a shame..I'm finding the battles to crowded at times too. Aunty

    NB: Where did the old one go? How about a module that just protects you from splash damage?? Seeing as how the mechanics were aligned between all the different splash weapons it shouldn't be tooo difficult. Not direct hit protection, just the splash. Aunty.

    It was one of the stated aims, somewhere I read. It doesn't make anything much better though, in terms of getting participation by everyone in battles. Missions for me are an end to themselves, and the pay offs are nice, but I don't play in any battle normally where I could finish them, so its always going to be, get them out the way, and get back to regular programming. Lots of missions are simply impractical now to. I think I'm safe in saying, most of us have to stack the deck somehow in order to get the first places, catch gold boxes out the way and cap 10 flags. Sure there's some saying but I got my first and finished 3 missions in 30 mins. But I say they have to be either really skilled, or really lucky or a mix of both and most of us aren't either of these things. For every 1st there has to be a battle full of losers... Aunty

    The scarey part about this, aside from the bad spelling, is my waiting time and the average. I'm waited far longer than the average, which is just that, people must have been waiting longer than I have to account for the short timers that just joined. That is in itself a rather appalling statistic.

    I think they've made it possible for EVERYONE to read and post to the forums, but introducing a 6 month delay to start a battle, that on quick appraisal is not worth doing, and starting again. I still haven't been able to finish a 150 crystal mission from 3 days ago :/ Any map skills, and planning have just gone straight out the window. :(( I honestly have no idea how to kill these people... no one dies... I can only guess what its like for players with even fewer resources than I. I used to have a theory that everyone that made it to marshall turned into a bonehead. After I got there and past it, I had to modify that, cause some of the people that got there at the time I did were good competitive players, others already there weren't so bad either, but now I know where all those boneheads went, every last sucker is now a Legend... These numb nuts have 50000+ more hours than anyone else, doesn't matter what you use, they've got near enough to everything to counter. It takes about 20 cycles through the sequence to find a map and opponents that are acceptable. I now refuse to stop at any battle with a large proportion on legends on it, and in my case any large map, (I'm not geared for it). I know someone has to be the weakest link, but why is it ALWAYS me? The Matching Process requires far deeper thought than seems to have gone into it at the moment.     Nothing wrong with minesweeper :P I have an old Dumb-phone... all it does is Duh.. make phone calls, oh and of course SMS.. In this day and age, much as you might like to have a horse... its blinkin' expensive. Oh, and best of all, if I could play Tanki on my Apple][ I would. <chuckle>

    They say life is change... somehow I think the devs have gotten this idea that change for the sake of change is a good thing. An accumulation of "bad" changes/updates/upgrades doesn't make for a better game bearing in mind its meant to be a game. You seem to be hell bent on removing any fun aspect from it. I'm usually on all night, my time, and for that matter a lot of the daytime too, but this is exhausting without getting any battles done. Night alll... hope tomorrow brings better things. Aunty

    And when you get there, wait for the load to finish, that 20 seconds is 5, you go to the garage, you get asked to leave do to pause length, then ejaculated from battle, and start the loop again. No time for doing anything

    This is going to have to go down as a DISMAL FAILURE.... nice idea but something is seriously wrong here. Either TAKE this thing away now or temporarily enable missions anywhere PLEASE. I think TANKI bought some hardware/software support from Dr Who... now you don't know where you're going when you'll get there or if it'll be ridonkulously dangerous or if you do arrive. Server Connection Closed Super Long Waiting Times, Timeout Loading Battle when it finally tries. Client Hung due to timeout repeat And like the battle button, BAD choice of player groups. Always in with legends. Same strange Map selection, who wants to play these maps??? No one I know... Unable to Complete Missions. I'm up to 6 tries to get to ANY ctf battle... Now we have weird resets during battle when you get there. Like the battle just restarted No longer able to see or claim missions in battle. A lot of CHURN going on, lots of players leave as soon as they arrive and see where they are and who they're up against. Which keeps making it slower for everyone else. Much nicer to be able to just choose than have it forced upon you. Maps are too full at capacity also, this ties in with other threads in forum. But nowhere to move. Full maps seem to create a loooooot of laaaaaag. No need to creat the lag bomb mentioned elsewhere in the forums, its already here. Dumped into a battle within the last 5 mins on the losing side no less, what is that about? IDEA Try adding clan members to groups...automatically? STOP throwing everyone out at the end of battle automatically. (takes so long to find a good one you want to keep it) STOP putting players back in the battles menu automatically after you've chosen pro battles Average is so bad there isn't one? Aunty

    Battle Listing

    Does anyone know why? When I change servers, I usually only have CTF selected as the battle mode I'm looking for, and that works great, I see a list of CTF battles, and then for no apparent reason, theres a DM or a CP stuck in there, usually just the one or two. Not an issue but just something that has me intrigued. Aunty
  21. Hmm, You see, I don't quite agree with your logic. But I don't also agree with the requirement to have completely free choice in the battle options. There is nothing to stop any of these "power levelers" doing fire wasp battles anyway, you have a few people in fire wasp and no one else much is going to stay and duke it out.. I don't believe for a moment that anyone that tries to play that mode is not playing for fun, just as there are those that don't. So rather than completely open slather on choices, you could simply have light, light/medium and medium/heavy modes.. similar in mechanics to xp/bp but leave the weapons range more open. My biggest complaint the whole way along really has been there's a range of weapons, that slow down your battle rather badly and for me take the enjoyment out it completely. Amongst those are freeze/twins/vulcan and now magnum. They either disable you, or can have your team cowering in the corner because no one wants to brave the withering fire they produce. Couple that with a titan or mammoth that sits on a flag on a small map, and players leave. So I say, don't write off SOME way of having SOME choices in battle types. Perhaps as they say you can't make all the people happy all the time, and SOME styles will still be smurfed along the way. But anything would be a step forward from where it is now, in order to be able to maintain a fast paced, free flowing battle. Aunty

    Idea for Tanki. Remove repair kit. Replace with a new supply called "The Lag Bomb". You can earn it in daily missions only (similar to getting a Gold Box mission). You then drop it like a gold box. It causes 30 seconds of lag on the enemy team. Aunty :P
