Just give anyone who is higher than legend 1 80k crystals and be done with it.

I'm not talking about specific players, I'm talking about general combinations. Viking and smoky generally isn't the best for defense, as a mammoth-smoky could do everything viking/smoky could do and more. However, Vulcan is plain better than smoky in defense as you can subject attackers to a withering fire as they approach.

Freeze m0 is insane, firebird m0 is a joke. Freeze gets worse as you get higher ranked because the freezing effect stays equally strong but the turrets and hulls turn much faster. However, firebird gets better the more high ranked you get because you really start to see the results of the afterburn. It will get you a lot of extra kills and is useful if you don't want to expose yourself for a long time.

Glad you are not complaining Rico is OP like some low-rankers. Rico m0 totally outclasses all other m0s, but as you get higher in modification it really isn't that powerful compared to some other turrets.

Playing with mammoth doesn't mean you are a noob. THEre's nothing wrong with mammoth. Playing with shaft doesn't make you a noob. There's nothing wrong with shaft. However, I am talking of the specific combination of mammoth with shaft, which is hard to use effectively. Many players who get mammoth think they can just camp in the open without cover, but that's wrong. Mammoths still need cover to go behind.

Shaft and Mammoth is not a good combination at the higher ranks- the laser gives you away and you will be a target for every railgun in the game. The slow speed of mammoth means you can't escape. Of course, at the lower ranks playing with shaft is quite fun because nobody has figured out how to counter them yet.

I remember when freeze still had the penetration...I was in a Poly CP, and by chance I picked up both DD and DA. there was a mass of struggling tanks in the middle because a gold box was dropping there- I got 7 kills in 10 seconds :D I am still unhappy that I cannot do that anymore :(

Okay...Just so you know I am a hornet/freeze player, which means I get my m2 combination the earliest. :D

Freeze/wasp is not the best for defending. Freeze/viking is much better. Viking has decent speed to chase down runaways but the extra armor really counts when a full-on drugger comes in. Plus, the freezing is not near instant now. Freeze/wasp is only good for midfield and intercepting flag takers. Best 5-tank defense in medium/large maps.: Viking-freeze Dictator-twins titan-vulcan Hunter-Isida mammoth-shaft.

But with shaft it's more annoying because the reload is longer and the every shot counts. (the damage is more) With smoky, you can always fire again.

SO TRUE. Anyone else noticed this? Ghost shots happen most often when you are firing at isidas and are most common in maps with lots of isidas like Monte Carlo.

That moment when you take the enemy flag in Monte Carlo, and back up off the ramp to make the jump, but your teammate is doing the jump from the opposite direction, so you both slam into each other and fall into the gap.

I love doing that with freeze, it's kinda obvious why...:D

The burn time was the defining aspect. The burning was what got firebird a ton of kills. Now that is taken away, and even the increased damage (which is not increased by much) is not enough compensation. Plus, the penetration was taken away as well.

Yeah, you've been using the mouse and alternative controls the whole time. :D Plus it's not necessary for railgun players to turn their turret :P

I haven't had this issue. In fact I could see just fine. Maybe your screen wasn't bright enough. Turning off the lights in the room you are in helps some.
