Next Up: Mammoth. B)

The farthest point from me. :)

Agreed my friend. Except, I wouldn't give hornet's the same speed but merely make them accelerate to their top speed faster. When the new rocker launcher and artillery cannon come out, which will be very effective against snipers, campers, and heavy hulls, but weak against light hulls, hull diversity at the highest ranks should improve.

(good news) NERF is sad. B)

I'm talking about only DMs.

The old freeze damage (of 4 months ago) was good: 800 hp/sec. Now it is too little. But that's what happens when everybody plays on Noise and Polygon; they complain Freeze is OP. I warned them. I agree about Isida. Healing and Self-heal needed a buff. Damage? Why? Isida is not an attacker. This will just make it more profitable for an isida user to attack the enemy directly instead of healing his teammate who is attacking the enemy, with the big difference between damage and healing rate. Glad to see a buff at least. Freeze and Firebird do the damage. Vulcan deserved the damage nerfed IMO. However, it heats up to fast. For a true machine-gun feel it has to be able to fire for longer. I think the old heat-up times were much better. THey went a little too far in nerfing Vulcan. Firebird is a joke. There is no reason to chose firebird over freeze. The only way players could get the old afterburn back was to buy the alteration. It gave tanki money and the players were pleased. And now, of course, they chose to nerf the alteration. Now, it has as much afterburn as the old firebird from 4 months ago, except half the charge. The afterburn needs to be buffed for both the stock firebird and the alteration.

And if it's RIDDLER_8 you chuckle anyway. :D Wasp and Shaft looks so dumb though...

That's a bit different. I fell at the other side of the map and had to shoot him sideways. B)

Do you think giving isidas just 25% self-heal in only DM mode would be asking too much? Would it make isida too OP? Would it ruin the gameplay and make it less fun for you?
-
But the DMs my friend.
-
I am not asking for freeze and firebird to be competitive in maps like Stadium and Monte Carlo. I am simply asking the developers to not judge how OP a turret is by it's performance in Small maps like Polygon. People have no right to join a Noise or Polygon battle where they know the map will favor short-rangers, and then complain about how OP they are. In medium maps freeze and firebird aren't OP at all.

Most embarrassing moments/fails you've had?

When you're about to do that epic jump into the enemy base and wreck everyone with full-on drugs. And then you flip. B) -
The thing is, Shaft doesn't really go anywhere... B)

yes GeeVuh I forgot about Railgun.

That's not how it works...Take a look at my "Game Balance Visuals and Stats" topic...you'll see, that within the maximum damage range (70 meters) thunder does a random amount of damage between the min and max damage values, with the more common values closer to the middle ground between those two extremes. It's like a bell-curved aligned to the center. There's an excellent visual by @BlackWasp777 that shows this.

Just increase the afterburn for firebird and increase the time required to overheat for vulcan and implement my idea of giving isidas 25% self-heal in DMs and Increase railgun's damage but increase reload time and LEAVE EVERYTHING AS IT IS for at least a year and everything will be just perfect. Thanks.

You mean Firebird Protection. :P

Of course the devs had to come up with all these changes when we were in the middle of working on some more charts. -_- ..now we will have to edit the old ones. You can send me them in the PM or post the edited versions in this topic. <_< <_< <_< And I hate this update anyway...except the isida part

You know something's wrong when the firebird alteration doesn't have as much afterburn as the stock firebird from a few months ago... I will say it again: Too many people played in small maps like Polygon and Noise, which gave them the impression that freeze and firebird were OP. They were not. In medium/large size maps freeze and firebird were perfectly balanced and in the larger ones they were a bit underpowered. The key was to make the larger maps more popular so that freeze and firebird were less OP, not nerf their stats based on how they perform in small maps. People should be fully aware that every time they join a small map battle freeze and firebird will rule. That is the purpose of short-rangers. Those players have no right to complain about freeze and firebird if they play on small maps. It's their choice to play in maps where they know short-rangers will rule. I believe map diversity is key, so when I play on my favorite medium/large maps the freeze and firebird will be way too weak.
-
On the contrary, Shaft and Firebird are the two guns that need a buff the most. Freeze and Vulcan come close after, but I would like Vulcan's damage to be buffed, and then see an alteration that decreases the damage but increases the impact force.
-
I don't find Shaft that underpowered. It's true it is a bit underpowered at the high ranks and takes lots of skill, but the only thing it needs is: A good team.
-
Okay Vulcan got over-nerfed. We really need an alteration that doubles the time required to overheat, at least.
-
I will put it in when I get home In the meanwhile we need to update all the charts because of the Upcoming Balance Changes and the damage changes to VUlcan, isida, firebird, and freeze.

Hazel, For some reason it says I can't quote you, so here goes: The burning for firebird isn't very powerful anymore. It still looks the same (dark red) but in reality the afterburn is nowhere as deadly. The alteration was how players who liked the old firebird could get it back. The alteration needs a ton of afterburn, because that is part of the defining feature of firebird. But in bigger maps now firebird and freeze will be way to weak. Why would anyone use firebird over freeze? What I'm saying is, you can't play in small maps where you know firebird and freeze will rule, and then complain about their power. I have played in medium/large maps and firebird and freeze were perfectly balanced. If a close-ranger manages to get close to you they deserve the kill. Edit: He hid his post.
