And make it more like Thunder? What's the point then? Might as well buy Thunder and do more damage at long ranges... You dislike Smoky as I dislike Ricco with it's 14 rapid shots that throw off the aim of medium hulls. We need to find a way to deal with it.
-
You mean with Double Damage (only way you can one-shot a medium hull) on? What if they have DA? Or Rail Protection Module? Smoky and Rail have their best effective ranges at different distances - so I guess it would depend on what distance you like to fight at. If you are in medium range a good smoky user can make a rail miss enough shots to win the battle.
-
What is your "trick" for when you are in a medium hull and they one-shot-kill as you spawn?
-
Except... this is a closed system. Toyota giving a new version of a car to person A has no effect on person B = "open system". Giving only selected members can make an imbalance. They can enter the battle knowing full-well no opponent has protection against them.

Please explain "less interesting gameplay". What "Inconveniences"?
-
1) You assume. If the supplies don't make such a huge impact like they do now, I suggest the "complaining" will go down 2) Why would prices need to go down? 3) no idea what you are trying to say here.
-
Ever been hit by Thunder? It has > impact than smoky at all M-levels. And Ricco... good luck aiming at it while it's peppering you with 10-12 hits in quick succession. Also keep in mind that Smoky's alteration may give it bigger impact - but the cost is no critical. Becomes (more) useless at long range.
-
I think they exist. They just no longer apply to Kits. So you won't get a cumulative discount.
-
So here's a question that many ask but never have seen a legitimate reply. "Why not keep supplies in game but reduce their effectiveness to... +50% instead of +100%"? (similar to module effects in Tank X). Those with lots of supplies will still see a significant boost + 50% is still far above the increase in pretty much all M-level advancements. But it will no longer make it just about supplies. Placing Double damage on M1 basically makes it equivalent (in damage) to M4. Seriously... who originally thought that was "balanced"?

Smoky is subject to kill-steals. It takes more than a few shots to kill a medium or heavy hull - especially with protection. Maybe I need more MUs, but two shots at opponent and it's dead by a rail sniper. And you'd be surprised what Isida can do on a small map like Island now. Isida not so good when trying to heal & kill (because of the 5 sec attack) but... does way better than before in DM. Devs have reversed it compared to 6 months ago. Firebird with Alt should be moved up. It kills very quickly = fewer loses to kill steals.

Yup. You see a Thunder? Time to equip a Hammer. ;)

You can only use one alteration per M-level. I believe Stable Plasma & Plasma Core are same M-level - so you have to chose which to equip. Make sure you have a good combination of Protection Modules - have every weapon covered at least once, and have a short-range one and a long-range one. The minimum 35% damage reduction makes a huge difference. If you buy MUs only during sales of 40% or greater it is still worth it to go up to 40. Go higher if you have nothing else to buy. You like Polygon CP... no supplies? If you don't have it already get Isida. You will be your teams best friend since they can't use RK. Very rarely does a team win Polygon-CP-no supplies without an Isida.

All hulls in same category (light / medium / heavy ) have same health at M3.
-
North America? You recently switched to Day-lights saving time by moving your clock ahead by one hour, right? ;) (Spring-ahead / Fall-back)
-
Dictator is a medium hull. You want it boosted from 3000 hp to 4000 hp? Good luck!
-
Unless they've added a new one in past week, forget Isida alterations. Most useless alterations in the game IMO.
-
You have lots of supplies - that's just swell. And there are many that don't. But you kinda ignored the rest of my post. M3 -> M4 is only on avg19%. Takes a long time for most to get to that 19%. Dev's gonna make M1 smoky much closer to M2 - cuz.... HUGE difference.
-
So Kits will still have their "combined" discount.. ie. Kit Price stays the same? (unless of course they lower it due to no supply bonus...) But going forward no discount from PDs and no discount from Holiday sales?
-
On average it's 19%. Unlike say... some of the bumps for lower M-levels... Smoky M2 has a 52% damage advantage over Smoky M1. That's significant. 19%... not so much. Or... unlike supplies, which offer 100% increase. You don't seem to have issue with that...
-
Even at close range - if it's using protective module (which it should) it is still effective. Usually survives the salvo, but opponent does not.
-
As an Isida with Hammer/Firebird/Freeze protection I hide in the lower tunnel. Hopefully a "Fat-boy" Twins is at top of ramp so it can prevent opponents from taking Point - and - so I can rack up a high score continuously healing the 'immovable object'. Even better in a no-supply battle...
-
Pointless for us - yes. But not for Devs... If we have funds but kit not available - some are tempted to buy another kit because they need something right away. Then possibly buy desired kit later = spending more crystals. Plus encourages buyers - since they have more options.
-
and an alteration to make Viking what it was before the ridiculous "re-balance". That way I don't have to pay for a brand new hull (Hunter).
-
5 m1s? You mean 5 MUs on your Thunder M1?
