  1. What's the OP gonna do in this case? "Today I played the Tribute map using the Dic hull, I spawned 8 times and every single time got killed with a single shot from shaft before I had moved a single tank length." It's horrible when you spawn in line-of-sight of enemy.

48hrs experiment with supplies this weekend

Hunter-Twins with DA & DD wreaking havoc in enemy base as they spawned. Continuous firing and killing tanks left & right. Was even more magnified with fewer tanks each side. 3 vs 3? That one twins tank could keep your entire side dead for full duration of the supply. As it runs out partner arriving fully lit up. Like tag-team wrestling. FUGLY.

Ever been in a battle where you were 4 vs 4? Two minutes later it's 8 vs 5. How you think that happened - in such a short time? Opponents insert two tanks on your side. They get two more. 6 vs 6. Someone joins your side. Someone joins opponents. Then one more joins opponents. Now 8 vs 7. Two tanks (who were doing nothing for 2 minutes) now exit. 8 vs 5 and those two mults did not suffer horrible K/D as they were there for two minutes. Lots of battles where even teams quickly become uneven teams. And it's not just because one side is losing. The bad # ratio often happens before the score goes lopsided. Why tanks exiting an even score battle all the time?
  4. You do less damage overall. If you run into enemy with protection you can't win - your energy pool runs out and enemy will still damage you. If you try to heal and then attack it's also game over. You might have a couple seconds of energy before running out. The 5 / 10 second energy pool is a large nerf for the Isida.
  5. You will probably find Isida most useful in Pro-Battles with supplies disabled. Will be the only way to get healed (with the few possible drop-boxes if that is enabled).
  6. You have a protection module? Or using RK? ;)
  7. 1) Yes 2) Suggest you try it on an alt before spending for an M3. 3) "smart charge"? You mean the 5 second attack / 10 second heal? Try to do both during a battle - you mind find it... underwhelming. 4) The most recent "vampirism" was 10%... so which way are you suggesting the balance has changed?
  8. You'll be disappointed if you expect that battle-plan to work on most other maps. harder to kill-steal when you need to chase opponents. Rank doesn't always mean skill. Keep at it long enough and you get there eventually, skill or no. But if you like it, have fun.

Since they created the "Battle Button" > half the Pro-battles are supplies enabled. Wish they had a filter for supplies enabled/disabled... would make finding appropriate battles much easier. And what boggles my mind are the "friendly fire" enabled ones. #mults
  10. Are you comparing the same M-level?

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

Glad you're happy with it. Now I need to upgrade my Badger T-A :(
  12. If one of them had Isida protection - even at minimum protection of 35% - then without DD (says no supplies) no way he could kill even a medium M3 hull. 3376 - 35% (1181) = 2194. An M3 medium stock hull has 2529 health. I suppose he might have been kill-stealing, but if that's your main battle-plan then... good luck vs anyone who knows what they are doing.

So how have you found it since the update? You getting more? same? less? kills on average?

    Let's Discuss Isida!

The Devs have done a 180. Isida used to be terrible in DM and great in team-battles for the most part. Now if functions somewhat better in DM (able to get a kill) but - long delay before it can function at same effectiveness. But in team play it suffers. The healing is quite slow, and, if you ever need to do both before pool is fully replenished it will do neither very well. If you're happy with the way it works I'm not gonna try to convince you otherwise. It just doesn't suit me the way they've changed it.

Ok - so you may, or may not be helpless as you spawn. Tx.
  16. Please explain the rational for switching Hunter and Viking characteristics. Most owners of these hulls do not like that decision.

So if I die in battle and re-spawn I can activate a DA right away? This may be part of my confusion... "Supplies will not be reactivated if you’re destroyed". what does this mean exactly? regarding shafts... even if you have 50% protection, a shaft on DD will kill you - unless you use a DA.

Yes - reduce the power like you say to +50%. This is still a significant advantage over someone without. So I can see tankers still spending crystals - but - I say keep the price the same. They may not be happy but - will still spend the money for any advantage they can get. My issue with proposal from Devs is once you die, you will be helpless. opponents who have moved toward your base will be able to kill at will since they will in all likelihood be past the cool-down after spawning. And the Shaft one-shot kill on medium hulls - how to prevent that now if you can't use a DA? At least with supplies off you can counter with a protection Module.

    Let's Discuss Hammer!

The recharge for attacking is at 1/2. Takes 10 seconds to fully recharge to give you a 5 second attack. If you attack after 2 seconds recharge you only have one second for attack. Then empty again. Heal someone then try to attack shortly after? LOL - lucky to have a two second attack. I've used it. It is not as effective as before. Devs claim ricocheting pellets do damage (same as Ricco). Maybe your bouncing pellets are missing?
  20. Now try it vs opponent with protections, or supplies enabled. You won't see the same results. The 5 second attack does less total damage on a pool of energy than before the change. You will run out before you do enough damage to kill. Then you have 10 seconds to replenish. M4s? And you say you had no protection? My Viking M3 (20/50) with 36% Firebird protection loses to firebird every time. And they were medium hulls or light hulls. Firebird with alteration will kill a medium hull in less than 5 seconds.

But have you thought about this... A shaft can one-shot a medium hull. One way to counter was to use a DA when spawning so you would not die as you spawn. Now you have no recourse... When opponents are spawn-killing, you had a chance to throw on a DA (or DD) to try and fight back. That opportunity is lost now. Might as well leave the battle. Why has this not been tried - just keep the smart-cooldowns as they have been for a while and reduce the effect of the supplies. Make them less powerful. They still give advantage (so tankers will buy) - but not the huge advantage described at beginning of this thread.
  22. Yeah it's total damage potential has gone down :( I assume you meant damage/health/armor and not XP (experience) ;) The stumbling block here is a Protection Module. discount supplies since DA cancels DD. But add in a protection module and the Isida may not be able to kill a medium hull, even on a full tank. Not sure if Firebird or freeze suffer the same issue. My M3 Viking seems to die with 36% protection, but the enemy might have more MUs...
  23. So you might get one kill in that 5 seconds. Then what do you do? Fine if it's small amount of opponents - you can run and hide. But if the map is full...
  24. You couldn't kill the Vulcan in 5 shots before you needed a re-load? How far away are you? Close the distance or pick a different turret.
  25. It should be able to kill an opponent faster (less subject to kill-steals). But then it's exhausted and ripe for the picking. Similar to say shaft. Except... while shaft is recuperating (after that exhausting one-shot kill) it's usually hiding in the bushes. Isida... in the open with a giant X on it's back.
