Chaos ammunition for magnums, thunder, striker - anything with splash Enemies hit in area of effect suffer from control disruption ie reversal for 10 seconds. Damage is minimal but would disorganise defences etc for other team members to take advantage of

Cedric - a warning for asking why my post had mysteriously vanished? How generous of you all. Yes Mr Cedric SIR No Mr Cedric SIR Tanki is the most wonderful creation known to mankind and all the management should be given Nobel prizes for their contribution to humanity. Is that more to your liking Mr Cedric SIR ?

Waspshaft you are obviously a little hard of thinking so I will write this slowly for you. - the clue is in the title - REFLECTOR turret. Now do you get it? It REFLECTS some of your shot back at you... if you have the reflector PROTECTION module, the damage is caused to the attacker depending upon what they attack you with not what turret you have.

Failarmy - because he uses a rail
-
Austen - nice, interesting and logical development from my isida idea. I like it maybe only as a protection from shot / beam weapons than can be reflected back but not for splash eg shaft rail ricochet, smoky, hammer AND thunder (if a direct hit but not if only affected by splash from near miss). not from striker, magnum, fire, freeze, isida

Person that is..... yes and the splash damage affects team mates also so that you can be REALLY popular in a close group with your friends.

Come on Devs there seems to be quite some interest in this why not give it a try in your test / development area. If you have already tested it please give some feedback as to its effect on the game. -

you are entitled to your opinion Happshot, no matter how wrong it might be. that should be oh no...... -
looks more like a dustbin - maybe that's it, you fire rubbish at the enemy as a sort of bio weapon.

New Earthquake turret main shockwave effect travels out along the ground in a cone from the tank to the edge of the screen with effects reducing with range from start point. Shockwave would affect tanks on structures or high / low features equally. Tanks able to jump over the shockwave would be unaffected. The effect would travel relatively slowly but still faster than the fastest units. max damage ie close up similar to splash damage from magnum but decreases rapidly with distance. Plus random stun effect (not affected by distance) with enemy disabled / stunned for several seconds if successful. Recharge similar to shaft or striker. Secondary arcade shockwave (damage similar to shaft arcade shot + stun chance) but very limited short range with medium recharge time.

Bigger rewards for completing mission chains this summer!
realbigred replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
Last night I didn't even bother with Tanki. I decided that from now on I will spend my time on a game (WOT) where skill and strategy are rewarded. Where there are enough upgrade choices to keep it exciting and where there are no druggers or kids. Seriously the battles are difficult and the tanks take some mastering. unlike the spawn, drug, drug, drug, fire, drug, drug, drug, fire, die, respawn... usual Tanki sequence. It wont suit everyone, so if you like to buy your way to "greatness" then stay with Tanki. Otherwise it might just be worth a look. TO management against products like this your days are numbered. Better start writing those CV's. -

Conqueror I've found a "ridiculous post" for you "Geez, see how this works? DO YOU NOT SEE HOW THIS WORKS?? No matter what the hell Tanki does to try to help out non-buyers, they still complain. I'm done with this if I see one more irresponsible, ungrateful, completely ridiculous post." Looks like you won't be posting a response then eh? Won't see ya later apparently ...... B) -

Austen - cornflakes????? Full English brekkie if you please.... You may very well be banking the crystals but at what cost? My comment was aimed at the situation in general not specifically you. Many players will now find that the cost to complete missions has risen proportionally higher than before the "updates" which have fuelled massively the drug usage. I will let you mull that over while you have your low fat, organic, high fibre muesli with added senior citizen supplements. (Urine is of course optional) ;) -
Out of sheer frustration at TO I actually looked at World of Tanks last night. What a revelation. A professionally designed game with rich graphics and very realistic mechanics even down to different armour characteristics for front, rear and sides of tanks. However, the most striking difference was in the lack of economic bullying by the company of its players. The lack of pressure to buy, buy, buy was so refreshing. Yes, there are options to buy but only for peripheral items that don't disadvantage non buyers. The other very welcome difference was that in the relatively short time that I was on, I didn't get dumped out nor even get one single " an error has occurred " message. Lag was also noticeably missing. Tanki management - considering that WOT is not pay to win, they apparently are earning sufficient money to have decent servers, hardware and software. Isn't it time that you pulled your collective heads from up your backsides and based your own product on what is obviously a far superior strategy and business model. Sorry TO but you are outclassed and will soon be just a dim memory possibly used as a case study of how bad mismanagement killed off the goose that laid the golden egg.

Sorry wolverine I don't agree. One has to accept that not all tanks are suited for all types of battle or map. Just like isida, DM does not suit shaft as it tends to be close combat where the main weapon is useless. So if isida can be buffed to make it better for DM then can shaft get buffed also e.g. turret rotation speed equal to railgun etc? - No I didn't think that would be acceptable. Like I said isida can heal itself just like any other tank through supply use. I don't see that isida in close combat is any worse off than shaft (in fact probably better off in DPS)

Just at the side of your post button wolverine ;) hmmmm I know that the jury is out on this one, but was it ever in and if so when will it be back? oh on this has slid onto the 2nd page -
ammunition that on a critical hit %ge randomises the enemy turrets abilities every time they fire i.e. it fires like a different turret randomly every time it fires for a set time period. Also randomises any protection for the same time period.
-
zero mode to carry a %ge chance to randomise your turret ie it fires randomly as any other sort of turret changing randomly with each shot. that will take the smug smiles off users faces. imagine " hit zero...... railgun charged ..... pop out, aim fire...... ice crystals???? fire again ...... smoky round ....... fire again .... ricochet" it would be hilarious
-
best new idea for overdrive - adopt it INSTEAD of supplies
-
unknown, why would you want to heal someone in a DM or is it that you want an already OP turret to be made completely invulnerable? Nah just heal yourself like everyone else - use repair kits.
-
Andrisrv - m3's vs m0 for tanki means your bank balance ;)

Bigger rewards for completing mission chains this summer!

With only 7456 players online, I would say that Little WIllie has a better grasp of the situation facing TO than Austens attempted pro tanki propaganda. Sorry to bust your bubble Austen but the numbers say that the mission chains aren't better. The fact that the reward has increased does not compensate for the increased drug usage . Little Willie hit the nail on the head when he said that the game has stagnated. Players who previously (stupidly IMHO) invested serious money to buy success are now frantically drugging in battles to protect their investment and to keep pace with the devs money making schemes. When I started I had hoped to have a few different hulls & turrets to be able to play in different battle scenarios. Now I find that as I absolutely refuse to pay even 1 penny to these masters of poor business judgement, I am limited to trying to slowly progress with 1 main hull and turret. This has now limited the battles that I can seriously compete in as has the non pro requirement and the ludicrous rank range impositions. In essence I find myself more and more trawling the servers for a battle that I can join where I am not just target practice for a drug buying fully upgraded & protected player 8-9 ranks higher than me that even with a collected DD I can only scratch their (bought) custom paintwork. I am now getting to the point where I get more enjoyment reading the forum than trying to play. I suspect that I am not the only one and that I will probably leave soon now that the fun and opportunity to get a decent battle has gone. TO management you have got your strategy wrong. -
