Each drone works differently, but you do not need to activate batteries manually, it happens automatically. The following pages might be helpful: Drones Batteries

HD skins are free, they replace the current default skins we have now. You may have noticed that with Railgun, Hornet, Smoky and so on.

Unfortunately, yes. Ever since gold box became a supply, it was no longer exciting to catch gold boxes so the hype around it died. There are still black gold boxes (a.k.a containers) but they barely if ever drop and even when they do, you can't tell if it's a normal gold box or a black gold box until you actually see the box itself.

True, skins like Thunder and Railgun are pretty bad..

Paints are kind of irrelevant at this point, even though I still enjoy collecting paints.

I'll make sure to ask a head administrator just to confirm but I do not see any problem with that as long as you did that manually. You do not gain anything from self destructing in a map by yourself.
