  2. Instead of OPness, supplies would involve strategy if only DA or DD could be active at one time. If you drive to a DD supply box, you would just drive through it without activating or collecting it if you already had a DA supply activated. This would force tankers to choose between damage output and durability/health, and it would require strategy to figure out what to use in every situation. When running for a flag, you would want DD. When attacking a swarm of enemies, or when you find the perfect sniping spot, you would activate DA. I think that this would add strategy to the game. Anyone else agree?

    Ideas for Maps!

    I think that the maps in TO appear too "candyland." They need to be battle-damaged and roughed up more. A landscape like that on the background of the forum is a nice idea of what I envision. The maps are simply to clean and nice. There should be "rubble" and concrete blocks everywhere. And the props need to appear more damaged. The only ones that seem to have realistically damaged buildings and props are Novel, Future and Industrial Zone. I think that the more widespread use of concrete block props and more "broken" and cratered streets and bridges would add to the realism of Tanki. Another thing that annoys me is that all the props are lined up at 90 or 180 degree angles to one another, but I realize that this can't be helped due to the way maps are made. I think craters, like the ones in Massacre and Scope, as well as concrete blocks like the ones in the middle of highland, should be positioned IN the streets of other maps, and that the props should be more damaged-looking. Damaged, broken bridges would also look very interesting and lend unique gameplay, but I am not expecting those anytime soon.
  4. The flag has recently been updated, and makes sense now. A regular flag wouldn't glow and would get torn and wouldn't behave the way the TO flag does. So, they changed it so it would look high-tech and make logical sense with its characteristics. I think that the supply boxes in TO would benefit from the same thing. If the boxes were a digital, high-tech container with graphics similar to the new flag, it would make more sense than the current glowing wooden crates which can't be damaged and which float away when bumped into. TX has solved this problem by creating (ceramic?) containers which shatter when activated. If TO had supply boxes which had similar texture to that of the flag, it would make more sense. It would also explain why the boxes parachute so slowly. Real boxes would need enormous parachutes to drift down at twice that speed. The boxes in TO need to be digitalized, with the possible exception of gold boxes.

    Hi! There are no space modes currently for Esplanade or Industrial Zone. Is this going to be fixed in the future?

    Patch Update #453

    by the time 20 drug games have gone by, and after I play about the same number of NS battles (I play each 50% of the time) I would earn around 30,000 cry, which I would spend 17,000 on supply 100 kit. Drugs don't always beat skill, and shaft doesn't give druggers enough time to use a repair kit. Railgun alteration (high-caliber) can kill-steal almost as effectively as a heavily drugging railgun, especially if you use a few supplies yourself. The crystals you get from completing mission chains has not decreased: I mean the reward after 1 week has gone by. You can get 2000 cry a week from this bonus alone.

    I have a 2.8 K/D ratio; I have no problem doing what I am doing. Information given on my previous post does not really work well in polygon, noise and silence at higher ranks, so avoid those in drug battles. And there will always be xp/bp for no drug, skilled battles.

    I am indeed serious. You can carefully budget your crystals, and spending about 50% of the crystals you earn on supplies can actually help you earn more crystals at higher ranks, and have fun while doing it. Now you have to complete your missions during this same type of battle. My opinion is just as biased as yours: you seem to like NS battles, so your opinion is "just a wee bit biased" as well. Players need to learn to like supplies, or at least complete their missions while playing in drug battles. Spending some crystals on drugs is reasonable. Don't forget that there will be changes to the "Battle Button" system. This will affect your missions. Yes, I like shaft, and I like the Railgun "high caliber" alt for the same reason: It can effectively compete with druggers, while not being a favorite choice of heavy druggers, who prefer twins, smoky and thunder. If I pop a DA when I get a drugging twins/viking in my gunsights, then I survive. No wonder buyers don't like shafts; it is the one turret that can kill them in the middle of using a Repair Kit. As a camper, I strategically place myself where there are supply drops. When I charge for the front lines, I time it so I get supplies along the way. Winning takes skill and impeccable timing. It is still very doable for a non-buyer.

    I use shaft, which even against a tank with DA will still do 1,500 damage at m3, which is more than what a rail would do with DD. This massive jump in damage can kill-steal very easily, especially in DM. You can get tons of supplies and cry by completing the daily mission chains. My old account was banned due to a paygarden error. I know what I am talking about. Get more skilled, the supplies falling from the sky can be used to your advantage, and you do not have to die every 15 seconds if you are more skilled. With different levels of equipment being less different in performance, buying the occasional supplies 100 kit now makes sense.
  13. ^use shaft. Kill-steal from a distance, drugging isn't necessary when you do so much damage per shot. I like the update in a way, in that it has made the game more challenging.

    Patch Update #453

    Tanki is a great game. You guys who are criticizing it have (I assume) never developed a game before. Due to this update, it will become slightly harder to acquire new equipment. You will need to rely less upon daily missions and more on actual fighting to get better equipment. This is not a bad thing, although, in the short run, this is bound to create some whining. Many players say (dramatically as possible), "I am leaving Tanki, Hazel-Rah has ruined it, bye." And they quit... and most of them rejoin after a week, realizing things are maybe not quite as bad as they had expected. When I logged in after a server restart, I would normally create a Sandbox (with a battle type that matched my missions) and invite a friend, collect the boxes, capture the flags, and finish first. Then I would claim 1,500 cry and a bunch of drugs. The new updates prevent that. And that is, in the long run, a good thing. You guys are whining because the game is getting harder to play. This is an expected short-term reaction. However, I actually think it is more fun to have a more challenging game. If the game was less challenging, then it wouldn't be as fun. Hazel-Rah doubtless knows what he is doing, and despite all the whining and "RIP Tanki" and "I'm Leaving" exclamations, Tanki has progressively gotten better over the past year I have been playing. Good job Developers! :)

    Patch Update #453

    I like the update! Because of the 21% total mission increase and increased probability of drug missions, you can get enough drugs to marginally compete in drug wars. So now, everyone has more drugs, and that makes druggers less of a problem.

    More plain paints

    Hi! Many military vehicles worldwide have a sort of flat "tan" paint. (Here) However, Tanki does not. I think it would be very simple to make, and would add realism to the game. Although we have "desert" and "sandstone," these are not a monochrome, flat tan.
  17. What balance changes are possibly awaiting in the future? Are there going to be any major balance changes to hulls? Right now some hulls, such as Viking, are far more popular than others, such as hunter. Are there going to be any balance changes addressing this?

    Account Banned Permanently + Paygarden

    Hi all, This is a new account. My old account, jordankiller, has been "blocked permanently" because I "broke the rules" since my Paygarden payments were somehow canceled. See screenshot. I emailed Tanki support repeatedly, and this was the final result. I am disappointed, and am not using paygarden again. However, it seems odd to ban me from playing because of a third-party payment issue. One more weird thing: SOME (not all) of the purchases I have made with paygarden have disappeared from my account profile. For instance, I bought the women's day bundle, and used the crystals to buy a striker m2. The striker m2 is not on my profile anymore. Also, my viking m2/twins m2 I bought have disappeared from my profile, one at a time. I am not sure why they would edit my account if they intended to never return it. Has anyone else ever had this issue? What happened in the end? Did you ever get your account back?
