    Blame Developers Or Yourself?

No, it isn't. But Noise was here before Pro Pass and before the MM.
  2. The list is for those who are looking for a good name for a name change or an alt account. If you don't want to give any suggestions, you don't have to. Keep them to yourself. Actually, it's kind of fun thinking up a few nicknames, checking for availability and then posting.

I agree with you, especially getting points for killing the flag bearer, he's the one that really controls the game. Why don't you suggest it in I&S?

Noise was a non-pro battle. Op mentioned that, at first, Premium was obtainable in contests or you had to buy them. He went on to say that now, Non-buyers can obtain 3h premiums in missions.
  5. I've read that there are speed hacks. But how can you tell a speed hack from lag? Some players look like they are stuck in a sling shot. They quickly move forward, quickly back and then shoot forward again. Others sit in one spot for a few seconds, then shoot forward. In both instances, everyone else is acting normally. I saw a player shoot forward and hit a platform wall. He just sat there staring at the wall for a few seconds, then disappeared.
  6. What would you do with an airgun?

@ @kaisdf That's like Industrial Zone. Red can just drop down from above right on to the capture point (blue base). They come up through the other building and across the bridge. In one ASL battle, the Red team was using this method almost exclusively. I was the only one to go up to try to defend from up there. I asked if anyone spoke English and someone said something in Russian, so I couldn't ask for help. I laid mines across the bridge and tried to ambush anyone who survived the mines. They soon got wise to that and a few went ahead of the flag bearers and set off the mines. I couldn't set them fast enough to do much good. The rest of the blue team was gathered inside the building around the capture point. Flag bearers couldn't get in. That's when they started using the bridge. Why no one else got the idea to defend the upstairs, I have no idea, it was the logical thing to do. I was beginning to think the entire blue team were saboteurs.

    Murphy's Law(s) of Tanki Online

A similar experience happened on my team. The flag bearer had been holding the flag for quite awhile. Half the team was trying to return our flag, but it went from tank to tank several times. I saw in the notifications box that the enemy flag was lost, but it never returned back to the enemy base. I don't know if our flag bearer put it down, lagged and was booted out of the game or what. When I respawned, I went looking for the flag. I saw it and just as I was about to grab it, it was returned. Somehow, the enemy was able to cap. I think our team got to involved with playing TDM instead of CTF.

Once in a Blue Moon I see ASL in the lower ranks. If I find one with Major or Lt. Colonel (depending on how many there are) as the highest rank, I'll participate. But Colonel and above, I won't. At my rank, I wouldn't be doing my team any justice.

    Murphy's Law(s) of Tanki Online

My team is on the enemy side spawn killing. I die, respawn and see 3 enemy Mammoths patrolling our base, two of them at my spawning zone. I'm immediately dead meat. When I respawn again, I spawn in the same zone with the same two Mammoths sitting there. I respawned 4 times in the same spot. The fifth time I respawned on the other side of the base and snuck away.

  15. @ @PhantomFlanFlinger It has been suggested that you make a suggestion in Ideas and Suggestions where the Devs are more likely to see your suggestion. You haven't done that. I haven't checked the Complaint section in the past couple days, so I don't know if you took the Mod's advice. But you certainly are not taking the advice of other players. If you have not made your voice heard in the Complaint section, then you are not taking the advice of the Mod, either. So, now I'm wonder how serious you really are about this or if you are trying to make an attempt at trolling and really don't care about players joining battles with substandard equipment. If you were serious, you would have taken the advice, but you haven't and there's a reason for that. What's the reason? There are questions posed to you, which you have chosen to ignore. Why? At the moment, you are doing nothing more than "beating a dead horse." I'm surprised a Mod hasn't closed this topic, because the solution to your complaint has been answered many times.

It's possible to defend the base without the entire team being right on top of the base flag and becoming cannon fodder for Magnum. But each player has to have map awareness, pay attention to the signal that a flag has been picked up and keep an eye out for it. This does not mean the team has to be in the enemy base playing TDM. Yes, I have seen this tactic played out successfully, but you still have to have map awareness and pay attention to the flag bearers. The ideal situation is to use mines to protect the base, two teammates near the base and the rest of the team surrounding the base, but not close to it. Certainly it helps to keep the enemy numbers down, but the main focus should be on the flag bearers, which seems to evade a lot of players. Another mistake players make, is thinking they can destroy the flag bearer when he's only a few feet from the flag. This can still work providing a large tank can block the path of the flag bearer and other teammates destroy him. If the flag bearer has OD activated, this tactic can be difficult. The two biggest mistakes are 1) being at the enemy base playing TDM and ignoring the flag bearers. 2) remaining in a big bunch directly on the base flag and becoming cannon fodder for Magnum. Players who become cannon fodder for Magnum don't seem to learn from that mistake. They will gather around the flag again just to be destroyed by Magnum again or receive enough damage, they are unable to defend.
  17. No, that wasn't the case. He came at me several times and each time, the damage was very low. I mentioned this one incident only because that was the only one I could actually remember the exact number of damage made. All damage was below 100. I did manage to kill him with DD activated. Map was Highways CTF. He made all the flags for his team. I was on the step below our flag. I was watching for him and saw he activated OD, but no blue dome appeared. I don't know if this is a glitch, but I've noticed in several battles players seem to activate OD but no blue dome. Edited for spelling
  18. My Shaft is M1.6. Is it really possible for a Hornet without drugs activated, to stand directly in front of me and not only survive a direct hit of a full load, but only get 84 damage? Are fully upgraded modules against Shaft that powerful?
  19. Before anyone steps all over me for what I'm about to say, this is not my main account. It's much higher. Having said that... If someone with substandard equipment joins my team, let (him) (her). I have no control over it and complaining about does no good. Sure, I could ask that player to change equipment and/or submit a game violation report. But what good would it do? The player refuses to change equipment, that player is still in the battle. If I were to submit a game violation, I'd either have to leave the battle to do it or stay and do it later. Either way, that player is still in the battle. If I don't like how the battle is going, I leave and try to find a more suitable one. This is a Game no more, no less, just like any other online global game...Reversi, cards, little pixel cars that goes around a track..A Game. Not life. No one dies playing, unless you get so mad you burst a blood vessel in your head or have a heart attack. No game is worth that. If you get this upset over Virtual Reality, I'd hate to be around you in real life reality. Sounds like some of you need a course in Anger Management. You're getting stressed out over nothing. All stress does is give you ulcers, grey hair and a short real life span.
  20. What difference does it make which account we use? As for me, I'm still the same person as I am whichever account I use. I would still say the same thing. @TSY_the_crazy may be crazy, but (s)he does make sense at times. But if you insist, I will login on my main account, quote my posts so you can have a second dose. No need to retype what I have already said.
  21. Naw, that wouldn't be any fun. The Cops would say, to heck with it, tell the Captain to kiss it where the sun doesn't shine, then go home to be with the family. You would more likely be fighting others with the same idea and die trying. Where's the fun in that?

    I need some help

I admire you bravery and courage. Don't give up on your dreams. I assume you live in the USA. If so, as of age 18 you are legally an adult. You can sign into contracts and be liable for them. Join the military without your parents' permission. Pretty much anything you want, except buying and consuming alcohol legally (depending on which State you live in, a few will allow beer at 18 and whiskey at 21). As an adult, you have the same rights as your parents. Leave your childhood behind and learn to be an adult. It's very, very difficult to stand up to your parents, I had to stand up to mine and "lay down the law" to them. Since you will have to pay rent to them (same thing happened to me once I got a job) they no longer see you as a child, but rather an adult, a renter, and a person with whom they are doing business. This is your key to freedom. If you decide to enter into a renters agreement with them, then it has to be understood that they no longer have any control over you, as in any rental agreement. You come and go as you please, you keep your own money (since you'll be paying them rent, that's extra income for them...end of guilt trip). Since this is a business dealing with money involved, have them draw up a Renter's Agreement and both of you sign it in front of a Notary Republic. The Notary will sign it, too and affix their seal, making the contract binding. This won't be easy if your parents try to fight it. It would, also, be a good idea if you make up your "Bill of Rights" for both of you to sign. Your other option would be to get your own apartment. Ask around work, see if anyone is looking for a roommate. Sounds like it's time to leave the nest, young fledgling.
