I've noticed we used to get the timer and then being put into a battle. Now we get the time and then this loading screen with another loading bar. It comes across that this is just a way to hide how bad MM is, and how longer it takes to put us into battles.

Nope, stock M3 mu'd to 11/20. No alts. Just very disappointed with it. Maybe I was encountering everyone with modules against it, I don't remember it being this bad at M2 - it was my go-to turret for 252 hours..

It's a very, very basic flight sim, pretty much a game actually. Any flight sim that suggests "using the mouse as a stick" should be avoided at all costs.

I hadn't used Isida since I was M2/Hornet. Have upgraded it to stock M3 11/20 but never used it since. Just been on a Bobruisk CTF with Hornet and killed a Hornet/Magnum flag-stealer but the rest of the battle forget trying to attack with it - from the front it's too weak and gives them time to one-shot you. I'd like to think a Viking M4 would stand a chance with Isida, but then you may as well forget chasing flag-stealing Hornets and try to get them on the way in, but you're then head-on with a puny Isida. I ended the battle with 294 points (mostly from healing, too dangerous to step outside the base with it), 2 stars, 1 kill and 9 deaths. In short, I felt very vulnerable with Isida and went back to Twins. Tanki definitely needs a buy-back or Recycle Bin, as that's where I'd put it.

Not to mention there are quite a few women gamers on here doing considerably better than he, including many at Legend rank. No. I bought the paint, but won't be taking part. So far it's filled with drugged-up Russian clans. And that seems to be how it is ever since Challenges began. If Challenges are here to stay - along with drugged-up Russian clans - then I won't be staying. I'm spending more time on the flightsim lately, may just give up with Tanki entirely.

It's funny, but I bought the "Lady" paint and launched into a Brest CTF with it. You could've seen just about every turret turn towards me. Never been shot at from so many sides all at once. Must be the faction from the ignorant bits of the world where pink doesn't mean female to them. Going back to my standard paint.

A threshold of activity/kills, similar to how it is in Challenges? Depending on the threshold, it won't rule out deliberate sabotage (under-performing) but it would at least eradicate mults who join and don't do any kills whatsoever. BTW Thank you for the clarifications.

I stand corrected. Though it'll be interesting to see if Tanki runs a WAR and a Challenge together then. It'll be a first, unless the March / Hornet LGC Challenge gets put back to another month.

I haven't seen anywhere that there will be a Challenge in March. As far as I can see, Gender War IS the March event.

With Challenges the most you stand to lose is a maximum of 60-ish stars, if you didn't complete a certain tier before the end. The rest you actually claim/get/win as you pass each number of stars required. With the WAR you stand to lose however many supplies you blitz through in the vain hope of winning a paint. And that's going to largely depend not on your own effort, but that of your side. And that could be an awful lot of supplies.

I wonder if it might have been better having a Challenge with separate tiers/prizes. Similar to having two Challenges run together, join the men's team get one set of tiers/prizes, join the womens and get a different set of tiers/prizes. All this for one paint, which you stand a very good chance of not actually getting anything for the effort. Uh, no.

Where does it say that? They are calling it a WAR not a Challenge. No mention of tiers. And you pay 5000 crystals for a paint to enter (like they did in the last WAR). It's clearly a WAR not a Challenge. With one prize, not many.
