I like Striker a lot, it is very fun to use. And once I get good with it, quite deadly as well.

Or if the players who don't complain about every update keep playing. I really don't see why matchmaking is so bad.

Because you get like 3x as many crystals. And does anyone ever choose a team beyond picking the winning team? And maps don't matter anymore, they made them all stink, with the exception of the originals in pro battles.

I really don't get it. What makes this system so bad? I don't find it any worse than before. Of course, things were waaaaaaaaaay better back when anyone could create battles, on any map, just like in pro battles. But compared to the last year, this update is really no worse.

Must be your internet, I'm usually in a battle in less than 10 seconds.

All the hate this update is getting is pretty absurd, sure it would be nice to choose your map sometimes, but it isn't necessary. Just about every battle I have been in has been balanced, with one exception. If you have a low ranked player in your group, they will still join your battles. Recruits can play with legends. This is the main problem I see. The fund change is awesome, I love that you get more crystals than exp, honestly I'll probably only play matchmaking battles just because the fund is now Better than in pro battles. If my team is losing, I don't have to leave anymore, unless I'm just getting endlessly spawn killed. As long as I can still get points, I'll still get fund. It appears that my initial optimism was closer to the mark, for me, than my scare at seeing the huge rank limits. It turns out they aren't so bad unless your group covers a ton of ranks.

BUT, his rank shouldn't be able to play with legends, regardless of what equipment he is using. The old system only allowed brigadier and higher to play with legends.

I thought someone said that rank limits would be SMALLER, what a joke. They made them enormously larger. This system is completely broken! Fix the rank limits though, and I won't really care that much. Non pro battles aren't very important.

Ok, I thought they said the rank limits would be tighter with matchmaking, not larger and more imbalanced! My battle was 2nd lieutenant to lieutenant general! The rank limits were never that wide before, they made it worse!!!!!

Really people? This update doesn't sound too bad at all. I will no longer have to hunt down a battle where I am not the lowest rank. And the fund change looks great as well. And in any case, pro battles aren't affected, so what does it matter anyway?

I'd remove magnum as first priority. then make pro battles the only type. And of course make missions and events doable in them. The map list would be the same as it is now, none of the new maps. Old madness would be brought back. Maybe some minor balance changes for the turrets. Hulls could be made the way they were before the re-balance (all different), though my garage has been chosen based on the new system, so maybe refund all hulls except hunter m0. Mostly I am fine with the game as it is. -
No, but usually this happens at a range where it wouldn't matter. I think the cause is the superior knock back and projectile speed that Ricochet has, causing me to miss more than I cause him to miss. With twins, you really need every shot to hit. Ricochet has a slightly slower reload allowing more time to compensate for knock back.

Crap, this post was meant to be from this account. My brother must have signed his in and I didn't notice. I'm the one that uses Twins, weoolin uses Ricochet. At m2, Ricochet does 225-305 damage per shot, and reloads for the next shot in 0.6 seconds (I won't be factoring in its lack of infinite ammo vs Twins). This comes to 375-508.3333 damage per second. Twins at m2, does 149-179 damage per shot, and reloads in 0.306 seconds (infinitely as well). This gives it a DPS of 486.73-584.73. At m4 this difference is smaller, but still in favor of Twins. So why do Ricochet users always beat me? Usually m level and modules are pretty close.

I disagree with the plasma core accelerator dislike, it actually doesn't nerf the reload so much as to make twins any less powerful. It will destroy a ricochet at its own game.

I got them in a promo code that was emailed to me. I still have ricochet, magnum, vulcan, hornet, hunter, and mammoth at m0.

Lets see, I never had many crystals, didn't understand the benefit of paints (back when they gave protection) so I only have one lgc module, didn't get m1's till way too high of a rank, thought 7k crystals was a ton, thought warrant officer was a very high rank, thought that having more than 10 of a supply was a huge amount, etc. I think I am still somewhat of a noob for sure though, xp/bp especially.

Even with the double funds, the ten minute battles have smaller funds than the 15 minute ones had without double funds. LAME.

Yeah, forgot about that. I only play ordinary battles to do missions though, MM doesn't affect pro battles.

I play a lot, sometimes for multiple hours a day, and have no trouble competing, without spending a cent on the game. I get a bunch of supplies and crystals from weekly chains/containers. On drugs my m2's can compete against anything I play with, especially against my rank. If I played in battles where I was the lowest rank, I'd notice it. But I typically pick battles where the ranks are closer to mine.

At least it appears I'll still get two containers tomorrow. I was worried it would be lowered to one or even zero for week 4.
