You are right. Wasp flips very often so I call it Flip Hull (Dictator is Gold Digger Hull). Hull height is also a VERY important factor which affects the gameplay. Low height hulls (Hornet, Viking) are good at short range and easy to hide but they are hard to hull swing. Other hulls sometimes get on top of them to blow them via mines or to catch golds. Medium height hulls (Wasp, Hunter, Titan, Mammoth) are good at long range and easy to hull swing but they are harder to hide. They fight for golds when they kill Dictator(s). Wasp needs to take advantage of its turret position and to show only a small part of tank when camping. Dictator has the same turret position as Wasp. When Dictator camps properly, it is hard to kill. Only some camping spots allow it to hide completely. It is bad at short range and should not be played with Fire, Freeze, Isida and Hammer. Its height allows it to catch golds easily. When there are more Dictators, it can get on top of Viking to be even higher.

Just do not make its reload faster because it would be OP with that huge impact force.
