You don't need another account. Go into the Shop, buy a bunch of gold boxes, create a private battle and have a one-man gold rain for yourself. It will be counted as catching gold boxes.

There's 3 ways to look at a flipped tank: 1...As long as he's flipped, the team is short one player for only the time it takes to self destruct and respawn. Not a big game changer. 2...When a flipped tank self destructs, his score goes down. 3...If you kill a flipped tank, your score goes up. When I encounter a flipped enemy tank, it depends on the situation as to what I do.If I have a kill mission, I'll kill the flipped tank. If I don't have that mission, again, it depend on the situation. If I'm trying to sneak into enemy territory, I leave the flipped tank alone. If the flipped tank has been there for a while, I know he's hoping someone will kill him so his score doesn't decrease. I will leave him alone. If we are winning and the battle has gotten a little boring, I kill the flipped tank.

In ASL, if you drop the flag (because of low health, gold box siren sounds, you want to fight the enemy for an OD box, etc.) the flag returns back to base. Is that considered a defense point for blue?

Look at it in this perspective: There's a 55 gallon drum sitting in an open field. A bad storm rolls in with heavy rain. Someone decides to put a garden hose in the drum, turns the water on and leaves. Someone else comes along with extra sand and begins to dump that in the drum. A guy walks by with some cans and dumps those in. The parade continues with a variety of things to add to the drum. The drum is overflowing. Then someone comes by with a bubbler hose (makes liquids bubble) sticks that in the drum and turns on the water. The one who put the first hose in comes back and tells the one with the bubbler hose to turn it off because he's making the drum to overflow. He turns it off, but the drum is still overflowing. How much did the guy with the bubbler hose contribute to the overflow? Nothing because it was already overflowing when he put his bubbler hose in. Point is, the game is already lagging (overflow). I join the game with animated paint (bubbler hose). Someone tells me to change paint because I'm contributing to the lag. I go to the garage and change paint (take the bubbler hose out of the drum). The game is still lagging (overflowing). How much did my animated paint (bubbler hose) contribute to the lag (overflow)?

Something else you can do to double check. 1...Before going into battle, write down the number of crystals you have and the numbers next to you name, that's xp. 2...After the battle, write down the number of xp, and crystals earned. 3...Go back to the lobby. Add the numbers you wrote down after the battle to the numbers you wrote down before the battle. 4...See if the results of your addition equals the xp and crystals you currently have. If the two numbers are equal, then you know you got the after battle scores were correct. If there is a difference that only means that the score from the leaderboard was incorrect. There was a period of time when the losing team got all 0s on the leaderboard after the battle, occasionally it affected the winning team. To find out what your earnings were, you had to do the math as stated above. The numbers on the leaderboard aren't always (and always, amen) correct.

Sandbox CTF red. Half my team (red) was was hiding behind containers and walls. All they did was die, respawn, hide, repeat. A fourth was defending the flag (supposedly) and a fourth was at blue base playing TDM while our base was being overrun. Then the Gold Box siren sounded. Suddenly all those deadbeat tanks came alive!! Even the one that was carrying our flag got in the pile up. Meanwhile, I made a mad dash for the blue flag. While I was returning to our base, the red flag was returned. I was about a Mammoth lengths away from our flag base when someone on blue with Thunder activated OD. I was a goner. Final score: 10-0. Guess who got the 0. Wish they would get rid of that darn siren and just let the box drop.

I like the coffee maker idea. Can I carry a flask to add some "spirits" to my coffee? I think some players could benefit from a GPS.

Well, lo and behold. This morning I tried to make a purchase from the Store, and now I'm having issues. I contacted PayPal Customer Service via chat. She said to clear my browser and cache. If that didn't work to try using a different browser. If that didn't work to contact the business using PayPal. I tried all her suggestions and none of them worked. I clicked on the "Report" button, filled out the form and sent it in. I went into my email account and clicked on the verification link. Now all I can do is wait. EDIT: Update...Tanki Customer Service has given me a ticket number and will keep me in the loop, though this loop may take up to seven days.

I've been asked to leave a battle a number of times over the years. If the battle is boring, I leave, but not without saying a few choice words. If it's a teammate that wants me gone and it's a good battle, I tell that person to "bug off, I'm staying." Which usually ends up with that player blocking my shots, knocking my off target and sometimes a pushing match. When out on the battlefield and your team doesn't have your 6, then it's every man, woman and child for him/herself.

I think I read, once, that it was a communication problem between the pay server and Tanki, similar to lag. I have also read that if the pay server is experiencing activity overload the transaction won't go through. In both cases, you have no other choice than to try again later. I don't know if this is your problem, I'm just grasping at straws like everyone else.

If players want to spend the money badly enough, they'll get a bit upset, as you are, but they will come back and try again. Are you of the mindset that, because you got the error message, you will never try to buy anything from the store ever again, for as long as you play Tanki? I think not. You, like other players will try again at some point. It may not be for the same item, but you will try again. The Devs know it, so they aren't losing out on anything.

Gosh, I didn't know my animated paint makes players lose control of their tank, jerk around the map, disappear when I'm shooting at them, get killed through buildings, cause spinning turrets, delayed shots, frozen screens. My animated paint does all that, huh? Then tell me...why do all those things happen when I'm not using animated paint? Why do all those things happen when no one is using animated paint?

That has happened to me on occasion. I have an account on PayPal, my credit card is registered with them, so I don't need to put the numbers in, yet I still get the error message. I don't know what causes it. When it happens, I go back a few hours later or the next day and the transaction goes right through.

What's so important about post counts? Do you get 1M crystals if you reach 10K posts or something?
