Attention Parkourists! Your chance to roll back to Wasp Mk1
Devoid replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
Can't believe my idea actually came to the game...Now I no longer have a reason to be depressed (within this game)! -
Could you send us some video evidence of what is occurring in your battles? It could be an already known problem, or a new one, depending on the circumstances of this glitch occurring. Thanks!

I have a desktop computer that is more than capable of running Tanki Online. If I am trying to play after two weeks or so of not restarting it, it seems that Tanki Online starts to not perform as well (Not Tanki's fault, it is my fault for not allowing my computer install new updates). Plus, your overarching problem is very peculiar, and we honestly can't think of any causes for it. Other players are able to play, and many of them have worse internet connections, and some might live much farther from the the Tanki servers in Russia than you. Unfortunately, we can't offer a better solution, as we can't come up with one.

Very impressive!

planned Ability to kick players from your own private battles
Devoid replied to King_Khan_143 in Ideas and Suggestions
I guarantee this update wouldn't be used for its intended purpose (removing saboteurs from battles), but rather to remove top players from a battle, and stealing the battle fund. Just imagine, someone creates a 999 flag battle, you play it for the majority of the time frame, you have 20,000 score in the battle, and the Battle Fund is 50,000 crystals, when suddenly, right before the last flag is captured, you (as well as everyone else in the battle) are removed from the battle by the Battle Owner, and that player takes the entire Battle Fund for themselves, and everyone else's time and effort are completely wasted. In short, this would be completely exploited in negative ways, and it would only anger players. For these reasons, your idea is declined.- 83 replies

No matter how much people talk about this subject, the Wiki never gets updated to show the true way the Juggernaut's stats are chosen - Based on rank. Equipment has no bearing on the Juggernaut's stats, regardless of whether they say otherwise.
-
That's actually an ingenious idea. It would also counter the slow rotation speed that Vulcan possesses, and be unique amongst the other turrets (Other than Freeze, though that is a short-range turret).
-
If you could send us some video evidence of your turret not behaving appropriately, that would be much obliged, and would allow us to pinpoint exactly what your problem is. Railgun has its fair share of issues. For example, I play XP/BP from time to time, and there are usually a few scenarios that pop up, where it appears that the Railgun shots are not hitting my tank and still doing damage, or the shots are going through obstacles. Same goes with Striker - It has its own plethora of issues. The Developers analyze all turrets equally, there is no bias when it comes to updating turrets. If there is truly a problem with the Striker turret, we have no problem with forwarding it straight to Developers, in an attempt to receive change. And I would just like to point out that there are plenty of people using Striker, possibly even more people than I see using Railgun.

This issue has nothing to do with the speed of your internet connection, but rather with your computer's connection to the Tanki Online servers. I would suggest restarting your computer if you haven't already, and in the meantime, I will make sure Developers become aware of the issue.

There is nothing wrong with Juggernaut. The Terminator turret does damage not only reflective of your equipment levels, but also of your rank. For example, I have a low level account with Mk7 equipment, but when I play Juggernaut, the amount of protection I have, and the damage I inflict are not matching of that of a Juggernaut in Legend rank battles, where players also have Mk7 equipment.
-
This is a known issue, that came after the Mk1-7 update. Developers are aware of the problem, and the issue should be fixed shortly.
-
Experienced a new HTML5 bug/glitch? Report it in this topic, and we will notify Developers of this issue, so they can fix it promptly!
-
The ratings page is currently being worked on, to fix the various issues that came after the new Mk1-7 update. One of the issues is the one you are mentioning, where it appears as M0-M6, instead of Mk1-7. This is the same with all players, their equipment is being converted to the old leveling system (M, instead of Mk like it should be), and shifted one level down (If you have Mk7 equipment, for example, it appears you have M6, as the site is considering Mk1 as the older M0). Another issue is that all hours and statistics on experience earned with a particular turret have been wiped. Both of these issues will be fixed shortly.
-
This has been a bug for several weeks now, all players can see the same option in the shop. The Developers are currently aware of the issue, and should implement a fix to the problem shortly.
-
This is not a glitch. Recently, Developers implemented an update, which provided spawn protection in core Matchmaking battles. All damage inflicted to players within the short invincibility duration is completely prevented, and the player inflicting the damage (you, in this case) sees a zero damage hit marker. You can read about this change, as well as the other changes that came with that update here.

I am going to provide an Ideas & Suggestions topic specifically catered to this confusion. I was also affected, my M0 Wasp became Mk3 (equal to M1 with no upgrades originally). I hope there can be some sort of system like the XT conversion one, where people can request to get their original equipment back. We will have to see where Developers take it from there.
-
Well, this update makes me sad. I spent 2 years of my life constantly playing and ranking up on this account, with the intentions of keeping Wasp M0 at high ranks (for parkour reasons). With this update, my Wasp has now became Mk3, and is 265 kilos heavier. Nothing will be the same...

Yes, it will fully replace the Flash client. The HTML5 version of the game is much more capable of newer expansions, so the Developers are trying to transition towards only using that specific version, thus also making the Flash version obsolete. I do think there will be some backlash from players who have only ever played with the Flash version of the game, however, so I think there will be some sort of setting added to switch the User Interface back to the original one. This is just speculation, however, so please take it with a grain of salt, and not consider it a reality for the time being.

They could pull off a cliche "underdog story," and end up winning. You never know... ? -
Ah, words. I could think of a few good ones to describe this game. What is your favorite Nissan car?
