poor Freeze one of my main turrets and probably needed a nerf because it was a bot / no-brain-required turret for lazy players like me, but this is too much

I only started using heavy hulls when I had maxed Trickster I can use them successfully on small maps sometimes with Hyperion, but in most cases it is just too slow with drones that don't boost speed I'm never going to use Ares because I'm never going to use mouse controls or mobile (I have fully upgraded Titans on two accounts, but only use them in SGE) Before the last 50% sale I only had one fully upgraded Mammoth, but now all of my main accounts have it and are upgrading it from mk7 because it can be a lot of fun, especially now that its OD last 15 seconds (and charges very quickly) (I'm not going to get any more Titans) I don't camp and I don't use long-range turrets much, so I like to use Trickster with Mammoth and drive around the map with melee or short-range turrets (Freeze and Twins are my favorites) and bulldozing anything smaller or chasing people when its OD is on It's also really good on small maps where objectives are heavily mined, sometimes I've given up trying to score / cap in RGB / ASL with a light hull + trickster + mine prot and used Mammoth's OD to do it instead I'm a big Mammoth fan, but it's only something I got in to after fully upgrading at least one light and one medium hull and Trickster (I'd recommend Trickster or Hyperion over anything else as a first not-Brutus drone)

Some players will get to the 3rd checkpoint without buying anything, but some will have to buy stuff Based on previous experience, the 3rd checkpoint for these games usually needs some luck for non-buyers

Bots are probably needed for low ranks The alts I created for the token of apology are now WO 4/5 with max brutus and 4-10 fire and wasp (no modules, some have useful augs), nearly 5K GS, but I often end up in battles where the rest of my team and the entire enemy team are ranks 2-8 with most having less than 1K GS If I was a brand new player facing that, I doubt I would stick with the game, especially in crystal box battles where I can't even pick up supplies Obviously, the long-term solution (for all ranks) is more players via advertising regardless of how incomplete the devs think the game is, but can't see that happening until it's too late

Freeze is my most used turret on all of my accounts that have it and I thought it was strong enough I don't know what effect the weight changes will have, but it's a shame that another stat for each hull class is becoming the same within its class (with a couple of exceptions)

If they do, then that's another reason not to covet it because I'm unlikely to realize such expectations One of my Legend accounts still has some 7-11 prots and four of those plus maxed everything else is 9903 GS, and the mythic aspect of 9999 GS is a bit daft when the difference between it and any account with 9800+ GS isn't that much (my Field Marshal account will have 9759 GS with a maxed hull / turret / hyperion + 4 x 40% prot) There's just a stealth element with less than 9999 GS because it's just another red number on the stats window and people are less likely to look at the exact number whereas 9999 GS is like a big neon sign that draws attention to yourself

The GS changes are interesting because now I'll be able to max more prots without getting the look-at-me 9999 GS on the stats window, some of my accounts deliberately have 9993 GS to avoid that The wasp / hornet + freeze / isida + adrenaline + heavyweight combos I use in rgb / asl / ctf will lose 400 GS but won't be any less effective apart from the adrenaline nerf

I only entered for Freeze LC, cost me 1400 tk on two (out of three) accounts though Knowing my luck it will be in next Challenge

The only complication with this is that the cynical playerbase might exploit it So something that annoys me is getting no points for pulling flags in CTF, but you can see how cynical players might abuse that if you did get points for pulling a flag On my list of problems with the game at the moment, players not going for objectives / camping / playing TDM in every mode is at the top and I think there needs to be more incentives / bigger rewards for completing objectives instead of getting kills Why should a player that doesn't cap any points in CP get any crystals?

My top three turrets in no particular order would be Hammer, Thunder, and Tesla. Ricochet (Helios) and Gauss not far behind; these five are the protections I use the most. Scorpion can be annoying, but I haven't used Scorpion protection for ages and find that Scorpions can easily be defeated by using mobility and melee turrets I use Freeze, Isida, Twins, and Smoky more than anything else and do OK in a winning battles sense (not K/D) if I use good drones with them, and up until recently there wasn't much protection against any of them. I like Hornet GT, but I only got it for one account v getting Viking GT on several I don't use Viking so it's not a huge issue for me (I think LC, PR, and UT are the best Viking skins), but the players that like Viking GT seem to be a minority To improve Viking GT I would: # give it dirtier textures like Hornet GT; the current ones are far too glossy # increase the size/depth of the bevels/chamfers # would be nice to raise the spoiler on the back so that it sits behind the turret and raise the back end so it has the height as normal Viking, but that might increase the size of the hit box # remove the intake on the front or reduce its size to that of normal Viking # get rid of the bull bars on the front and encase at least the front wheels in a fairing with the same shape as normal Viking (or similar to Hornet GT), but with the GT decals # if you want to show the off the wheels instead of conceal them with a front to back fairing (like normal Viking), then only reveal the second one from the front, or have four sets of wheels and reveal the third I think Viking already looks a bit strange because it is so low and flat, and GT makes it even lower and flatter and it looks skinny and less substantial compared to normal Viking

The issue is that the distribution of an event like getting an exotic ultra container is very random because the probability is very low So if the probability is 1%, you would expect to get 10 exotics if you opened 1000 ultra containers However, the 10 exotics could be in the last 500 you open or something, so opening 200 without getting an exotic isn't that unusual I haven't got an exotic from ultras for a long time, but I have also got exotics from opening just one ultra container Some players are going to be more lucky than others

the fund has only reached the last level once so far (the last fund), and might not it reach it this time because lots of players got crisis and armadillo from the last fund it's more realistic to think of the cheapest tanki fund bundle as being better value than a battle pass because you'll get ultra containers and a skin container and some good augments if it reaches the low teens levels, or even lvl 10 for vamp isida (plus small chance of winning a portion of the fund, around 8,000 tankoins)

I didn't start using heavy hulls until I completely upgraded trickster, but mammoth isida can be fun to use with trickster (and crisis surely) I use titan twins trickster on one account and mammoth twins trickster on another (all fully upgraded) and often do well Chasing people with mammoth od and trickster is still funny What I don't understand is people using heavy hulls without trickster or crisis. They are so slow.

I have a fully upgraded wasp on one account and a 6/10 wasp on my Lieutenant General account and I only use melee turrets (isida and freeze) on it If I want to use a different / longer range turret on a light hull then I use will hornet because it is more stable and agile (wasp is a great flag and ball carrier because it doesn't lose speed in turns, but has lower acceleration and turning speed). Hornet striker is very good

I don't often quit battles, but if I have missions that need to me win battles I will often quit because I don't want to waste 5-10 minutes finishing a battle when my team is probably going to lose Shorter battles, 10 minutes, and the removal of winning team and top 3 on winning team missions would reduce the number of players quitting battles And the top 3 on either team mission is good because it sometimes gives players on losing teams a reason to keep fighting

I was hoping that they would make the platform for turrets bigger on Dictator HD and stop the turrets (apart from Isida and Magnum and Striker) looking they are going to fall off the front, but nope But the struts are a great idea because they take away some of the bulk that made Dictator look a bit weird; I've never used Dictator because of its looks
