I don't know exactly how long, but I do know that I was on the receiving end of a Highland takeover, and it seemed the entire other team was Viking/Gauss and there was always someone with and OD going. I'd guesstimate 10 seconds?

Viking OD lasts a lot longer.

Gauss is OP on the Test Server right now, because an un-vigilant dev decided to completely omit Owl from the garage :P

Um - it's fine. I always honestly can't use Viking with Magnum, preferring Hunter.

Do they open individual servers?

I felt bad for sabotaging my team, but here goes: a guy, @BlutroteKobra in Cologne MM (Glaze kit, duplet alt) decided to pin me against one of the walls for no reason. So, I thought I'd dedicate my battle to sabotaging him, just to get even (ya know the feelin'?). Well, at one point I sat and watched as he took most of the hp off of a Viking/Freeze, but the clip reload wasn't short enough to save him from the Freeze. Both had already used their RKs, so I easily sent two of my Rico shots onto the Freeze (I was about 10 meters away) and killed the Freeze, conceivably while he could still see because of the respawn mechanic :P Boy did he rage.

What maps do you want? I'll try to prepare some good shots. Give me info though - maps, angles, bases. Here's a sample of what I can do: Sorry for that nasty Wasp bomb thing in the middle - it's what happens when you accidentally make a public battle. Guy left, fortunately, but the mark didn't.

Hunter, definitely. It's better for catching golds, it has better stability, it is harder to knock the aim off.

Glad to know somebody's looking here :) Yes, you know there are shortages of random things in communist countries, of course. :P I have no idea why I did exclamation marks for some and not for others - just random. I felt maybe I shouldn't be too excited over conquering Fort Knox, or Garder, or anything that didn't have anything remotely difficult.

I have no problem with you stating your concerns, but let us not engage in idle flattery of ourselves, while us skilled individuals could be increasing our total income tenfold catching all the golds in spite of the armoured Mammoths.
