Idk why, but sometimes when I enter the game I'll be placed in to a random MM battle. JGR, no less. It can't have been the link to a PRO-battle, even if I had a link the account was below WO1. Anyways, thought you should know. If people really care about their K/D it's possible to be killed quite a few times in 2 minutes.

I literally just went from reading this to a battle. In that battle, I was using Magnum M1/Hunter M1 (@HBTY2). It was Polygon RGB. I randomly rolled through the middle and decided to shoot at almost 100% and 90 degrees because the ball was dropping there. I then retreated, and watched, as one Hunter and three wasps emerged to take the ball. Just as the ball got there, BOOM! my shell landed. Three kills and one significantly damaged Hunter, from a totally random shot. It was almost perfect timing. *Edit: I had DD. They say that Magnum has prodigious damage, yet I can't one-shot M1 Wasps with my slightly MUed M1 Magnum...

Now I can say with certainty, as I have tried out both XP M4 and Shaft/Hunter M4 against other M4s on the Test Server. Using factory settings, Shaft/Hunter was significantly stronger in battle, while XP didn't get that much. Anyways, suit yourself, but don't say we didn't warn you.

I enabled flash (I've done it before for real Tanki and it worked) and it is still white, however, I have been able to access HTML5 before, but it's sad because my Shift doesn't work in HTML5 so I can't use ODs. Anyways, there is another problem other than flash.

Then listen to us xD. It may matter who's swinging the stick, but do you think that if you played, say, MrThunder in an XP/BP match and he had M0 and you had M4 with 50% protection, would he win? Actually, he probably would, since you've never played a PRO-battle and haven't ever played XP. But how about against me, this time I have M2 he has M0. Would he still win?

May I point out your rank? You're asking our advice. Take the advice of the more experienced players. I'm no pro, but all of us have been in battles at M2 ranks and know what M2 kits work and what don't. I know that no Tornado has any edge on me at any range, when I'm using Chiropractor. Look above. So, yeah. No, I do not recommend Fire for long ranges (obviously) and if you want to compete in anything but Forest you'll need something that goes long AND short range. Wait, did I just say Shaft with Short-band Emitters alt (and later Rapid-fire)? Not precisely, but that's exactly what I meant. Or, you can go something else, but Freeze loses it's advantage quickly. What makes you think I wasn't referring to Tornado too? As I said, go for something else. XP/BP is fun (unlike you, I've actually played it), but not good in MM, or anything else really. More experienced players feel free to disagree, BUT from my experience if you can control an area against several attackers all coming at once, including short or long ranges, you've got money coming your way. Oh yeah, guess what I can do with my Shaft with Short-band Emitters? You ask what I think is better for the long term? At those ranks when some players still have M1s, they can compete. Rank to even my rank now, and immediately those kits are rendered essentially useless. I'm not saying they don't get any kills, but they sure don't get a lot of points. If you want to go short-range, save for Firewall kit with Compact-fuel Tanks. That alt is OP right now. But if you want long-range then I'd say go for Shaft, or maybe Thunder. Shaft is my preference, but that's just me. If you really want Rail, go for (at my ranks) Voltage kit or possibly just MU Viking (or Hunter) and Rail to M2 and get the M2 version of Rockshaper or Nomad. Remember, I'm just saying this for my ranks. Anyone with a higher rank feel free to say what works at your ranks. One note though: You have two accounts: Fr0zen.man and the one from which you are posting. I find it interesting, however, that you don't own Hornet on Fr0zen.man but you do have Railgun, but on this account ReadyPlayer1 you do have Hornet but not Railgun. Hmmmmm, if you're going to buy Tornado at least try XP first!

Don't buy any of the kits mentioned. Don't buy freeze.

This is not to be offensive, but I find it interesting: at your rank I had all M1 hulls except Dictator, 150K crystals (I wasn't a buyer), and almost all M1 turrets. Going through again, I'm doing things differently (not getting and MUing everything) and I have the same amount of crystals on my alt account which isn't even WO1 yet. I wonder why that is...? Yes, use that. Wait for M2s if you like that, or else if you really need an M1 kit go with Fighter, then use the Twins with your Viking. *Edit: Didn't realize how many M1s you had. Just go M2 now.

Why would you start again? It seems to me that with an M2 and an M1.7 you should be able to do just fine. I'd recommend Simoom if you really want to get an M2 kit before Third Lieutenant, however, I wouldn't advise it. You'll get the advantage of M2s for ~2 ranks before everyone else has better M2 kits (that unlock later) that will beat yours. My personal advice is to go for Chiropractor with Short-Band alt, but if you don't like shaft I'd go for juggler. Either way, if you do wait for the better kits you'll dominate the ones available at WO5/4. For instance, at any range, I can beat all kits available at WO5 or 4 except SOMETIMES I get caught off guard by a Freeze, in which case I am usually killed. But often you will kill them before they reach you, or at least get them within one arcade shot of being dead. It seems to me that you are considering either going for freeze M2 and MUing it or going for another kit and MUing it. Why not go for avalanche instead of freeze? Anyways, I would not advise Freeze. Do something such as Rico or Shaft or Thunder and you'll be better off. Also, regarding Tornado, that was my dream too. But, it really does well only in XP/BP battles otherwise it won't do super good. If you're gonna get a rail M2 kit get voltage and buy destabilized rounds alt. Update: Yesterday I pushed the JGR off the side in Parma JGR, then self-destructed myself by driving off the same place. How does the server decide who gets JGR? I was the next one to get killed/self-destruct, but I didn't get JGR. By the way, I did it because he was about to kill me.

Good points overall. Can I point out two things? First, how rich do you have to be to buy PAINTS!?!? Like, I kind of get kits if gaming is what you're in to, but paints? ... Second, I find it interesting that I, who was so against buying (and still don't like it) am about to make this account a huge buyers account, something to the tune of $400 without sales. Why? Because someone I know offered to buy me stuff, so... yeah.
