Got 13 Containers. I'm face palming so bad, I got 10 days of Premium on 2 accounts I don't even play on, including this one, and just 3 days on the one I'm actually playing on. Anyway, I'm not a no-lifer to grind for Challenges, so doesn't matter much. But that's a heck load of Premium! ? -
Yeah, the sum of all micro-upgrade step costs is equal to the price of the next modification. These things haven't been changed.

You will get the M0 (or Mk1) modifications of the turrets and hulls that you don't own right now.

The problem is that those who had bought and fully upgraded M2 kits at Warrant Officers can upgrade them even further. Instead of getting Mk6.10, they have got Mk7.

I was thinking the same thing; that those with insane equipment now will just rank up faster and reach higher ranks, where their equipment becomes reasonable. And those buyers that follow suit will have the new Modification restrictions at that rank. But, seeing that even Master Corporals are getting insane equipment, will they rank up to the top soon? Or will we have them suddenly popping up with their Mk7+ equipment at Mk4 ranks all year round? Only time will tell.

XP/BP is a format battle. Previous specifications (only for XP/BP) required M2 Turret-Hull combo. But now all format battles require Mk7 equipment. You can only join standard Pro and Parkour battles.

And think about the potential disaster when even some people at WO5 are able to do so. ?

Does purchasing a Product kit require you to have previous modifications? Or do you directly get that modification in the kit from whatever level that equipment was on.

So now I can have Railgun and Dictator M7+, or basically the original M4, at Second Lieutenant? Tanki's gone way too awry. I guess I'm going to start afresh with a new account, can't do without competition, seriously.

It's more of a thing at lower ranks, when there are all those annoying Wasp-Firebirds and Freezes that sneak up and kill you. So satisfying to one-shot them with DD at close range.

My suggestion only applies to the case where DD is used along with the overdrive. It basically transfers the protection of the enemy to the extra damage DD enables you to deal. Also, I had suggested a 75% protection ignore, against enemies with DA, for DD + Hornet OD users because that would deal 1.5× std dmg. But now that protection modules are being considered, that can drop to 1.25× std dmg. So, the 75% might change to 87.5%. -

50% of the extra damage plus the standard damage. That means 1.5× base damage. If the enemy has DA, too, then it becomes 1.25× base damage. Having only DA or a Module would also protect against the extra damage. Also realised I put (50+X)% Protection against extra damage. A 50% Module would make that 100%. ? I actually meant to make it Extra damage × 50% × (100-X)%; so the minimum damage a Hornet with OD can deal is 1.25× Std Dmg. -

Okay, well, I think I have to agree it kinda hurts to have that expensive module you bought rendered completely useless again and again in battles by Hornet users. I see your point in asking for a 75% protection ignore, but I still feel that Hornet's OD should enable the user to deal at least the standard damage. Otherwise, it's not really useful. So, maybe we can find a way in the middle? What about updating on the idea, that: When a Hornet with OD + DD fires at a tank with DA and a module against that turret (say, with X% protection), they will deal the standard damage + [100-X]% × 50% of the standard damage. Or, in other words, the protection of DA and Modules applies to only the extra damage given by DD. Effective against the exploitation of the overdrive. Edit: Will add this to the main post after deciding whether DA should reduce the extra damage by 50%, or some other value; and whether the additional of a Module to the equation should contribute X% or X/2%. -

1) When Mammoth's Overdrive was nerfed and its immortality removed, players were calling the sour Mammoth users(...) while they were calling them back the same. Saying so is neither a reasonable argument nor makes a difference. ? 2) The Overdrive needs to have some benefit of its own other than counters to some other ODs. Ignoring protections is an important feature, but dealing ridiculous amounts of damage to enemies, even when they have DA, isn't.
