  1. Ya, they could revamp Vulcan's recharge mechanic to Hammer's one. Nerfing the damage per shot while overheating doesn't make sense (yeah, I know Tanki is just a game). But, why would the damage decrease? The bullets are melting when they are coming out from a overheating gun, thus they do less damage? Maybe devs could consider to give a number of rounds (70-80) per magazine similar to Hammer. According to wiki, the damage (HP/sec) for M3+ Vulcan is 600 while The maximum HP for hulls in game is 4000. Thus, Vulcan with 70 rounds could have a chance kill the opposition before reloading (when relevant module is not equip and supplies are off). The reloading time can be the same as the cool down time, thus normal Vulcan won't suffer from overheat. They may even make 2 other alternations. (1) Increasing the number of rounds per magazine (maybe +50%?), but the Vulcan should suffer from overheating after continuously firing more than the rounds in a normal magazine like the existing mechanism. (2) Shortening the reloading time (-50%?), but the shot makes less damage and it could easily suffer from overheating if keeps firing right after reload.

    He did mentioned because he got caught. I believe he was either blocked by a bigger hull, or being shot (maybe flipped) while running away.

    Hunter's OD is mainly for close range turrets if you want to use it offensively. When you are using mid/long range turrets, it's just a defensive one and you gotta use the OD as soon as you are ambushed by other close range turrets (so they are stopped and you have time to retreat). Or you can run into a group of enemies with teammates, and use the Hunter's OD...

    No, I always use Hunter. But a teammate has activated the Hornet's OD, so I happened to see his health. The game was played 2-3 hours after server restarted today, so everyone was trying out the new ODs.

    The mammoth's hp was dropping with its OD on while firing at me real close (luckily I moved backward faster than him so he couldn't touch me). Attacks from me and my teammates can't hurt him, so it should be the splash damages from his own shots.

    I think it is not immune to self damage. A Twins/Mammoth got the splash damage when it hit me very closely with its OD on.

    Supplies are part of the game. We could only deal with it like the other mechanics they throw at us. And yes, Hunter's OD could only act as a lifesaving last resort when using mid/long range turrets and being ambush by enemies. I also agree that the gaps between different ODs are quite big. Some ODs should definitely last shorter if not nerfed.
  10. I agree that there should be a few options for the players before being put into the queue in MM. (1) Small/Large Maps Some of the players are not good at playing in certain maps. They would normally quit straightaway if they were being loaded into those maps. With an option (No Preference/ Small/ Large), players can have higher chance to avoid map(s) they dislike and participate in map(s) they are good at. It should not be difficult to define and put the maps into the lists (Small/ Large) because the numbers are on wiki. (2) Length of Battle Many experienced players have reflected that the current 7-minute battle is too hurry and short for team communication and strategic moves. It would be nice if there is an option (7 minutes/ 15 minutes) for the battle length. Mobile version players and those who want to finish missions quickly can opt for 7 minutes while others who enjoy to complete the missions/battles in a slower pace can opt for the good old 15-minute game.
  11. Yes, it would be good to match players basing on their gear scores. But they could be intentional to match us basing on the rank because they want to make sure the buyers can dominate and spend more.

    No, Hunter's OD is really good for close range turrets. In small maps with DD & DA on, just run into the enemies and use the OD. Boom! Everyone freezes for a few seconds with all supplies disabled, and of course they are all yours! Only Mammoth's OD can save itself from Hunter's OD. Mammoth's OD can't be disabled by Hunter's OD, thus it is still invincible as long as the OD lasts.

    I guess the devs just wanna let everyone to have a try on the new overdrives, thus increasing the recharge rate. This should be adjusted after the coming weekend with a "small" fix according to their past practice.

    The new sounds are annoying and messy. I used to locate enemies with my headphones based on the firing sounds in big/medium maps, but there are so many different sound effects now. It's like watching the Transformers or the Avengers in a cinema.

    This overhaul for overdrives would add a good strategic element to the game, but before they introduced Matchmaking (removal of battle list thus you can't join your friends in the mddile of a battle) and shortened the time from 15 mins to 7 mins now. The game is so short and random now as some other members mentioned earlier in this thread. Most of the huge updates released in the last 2-3 years were acceptable if you consider them solely, but it's a mess after the updates are stacked up.
  16. I agree with you on Freeze. The spray freezes opponent so quickly and the freezing sustains for quite some time. Even if I manage to kill the Freeze, I am just a meat for the incoming enemies. Should either increase the Energy consumption (eng/sec) or decrease the Rate of freezing (temp/sec).
